Jennifer Nettles In Carolina Herrera – 2010 CMA Awards

It was at the 2010 CMA Awards that I got to see Jennifer Nettles new shorter ‘do on the red carpet for the first time.

The ‘Sugarland’ singer opted for a strapless Carolina Herrera Resort 2011 gown.

Her marine blue gown with shimmering metallic details is gorgeous.

I love her complementary accessories which include Kimberly McDonald jewels, but I’m not particular fond of the eye make-up.

Jennifer is usually flawless so I feel slightly disappointed.

2010 Academy of Country Music Awards Red Carpet – Jennifer Nettles

Most Consistent Award
Whilst most of the others on the red carpet of the 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards wore cute pastels, nudes or white, Jennifer Nettles opted for something darker.

The soft-gothic look included a black strapless gown and dark smoky eyes.

I love how the gown is fitted to the thigh then trails out into a long train.

As much as I do love this look, the silver pendent was one accessory too much with this look.

Who Wore Kai Kuhne Better? Marisa Tomei or Jennifer Nettles

Marisa Tomei wore this origami style Kai Kuhne Fall 2009 black and white to the “Latisse” Launch Party in LA during March of last year.

Marisa never usually disappoints on the carpet, but I’m not crazy about the length of this dress on her.

Jennifer Nettles wore this dress in December last year when she walked the red carpet at the “32nd Kennedy Center Honors” in Washington.

This dress seems to fit Jennifer better and the length isn’t quite so awkward so Jen wins this for me.

Runway To 2010 Grammy Awards – Jennifer Nettles In Victoria Beckham

I just love the fact that celebrities are loving the Victoria Beckham dress collection.

First up on the 2010 Grammy red carpet was Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland.

Jennifer looks stunning wearing a red Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 gown with cut-out details and black stripes.

When posing on the red carpet Jennifer turned to show us the criss cross detail on the back.

I’m totally loving this look. It’s perfectly sophisticated, yet relaxed enough to be worn on the Grammy’s red carpet.

What a great start to the night.

Grammy Nominations Concert Live!

Jennifer Nettles looked stunning as usual wearing a Yigal Azrouël Resort 2010 red one-sleeved silk shantung dress, which I think would’ve looked even better if it was sleeveless.

A contrasting belt and clutch, plus fuschia pink Christian Louboutin Very Galaxy peep-toes complete the look.

Keri Hilson continues her slide.

This houndstooth and striped Stella McCartney knit dress with lace panels shouldn’t have been considered as a red carpet dress.

She used to be so fierce on the red carpet.

Maybe she should do what Rihanna did and come to London and discover some new designers, because she’s clearly run out of ideas.

Fergie looks gorgeous in this one shoulder dress covered in ombre sequins by The Blonds, which has the same spike details as the dress Rihanna wore recently.

I love the dress, but those spikes are just plain scary.

When I go out I have enough to worry about when it comes to scuffing my shoes, I don’t want to have to worry about poking my eyes out as well.

Katy Perry wore an embroidered Ema Savahl dress with a sassy hemline.

By keeping her accessories to a minimum she didn’t overload her look.

Lilac Casadei heels completed the look.

43rd Annual CMA Awards

Nicole Kidman looks AMAZING.

L’Wren Scott dressed her client in Prada for her previous red carpet appearance to a weak applause, today Nicole is blowing me away in a hot pink L’Wren Scott Spring 2010 embroidered gown.

I love the cut, and the sexy silhouette which gives Nicole some curves we’ve never seen before.

Yes we’d love to see a Nicole switch up her designers more often, but when she looks this great in Scott’s designs it’s no wonder she keeps going back for more.

BDOTW contender for sure.

If any of you are surprised Taylor Swift is wearing a gold glittering with sequins, you haven’t been reading this blog for very long.

This is Taylor’s trademark, and I don’t blame her.

This Reem Acra sequin strapless gold gown with tulle skirt looks like a Princess dress, and I’m sure she felt very special wearing it.

Every princess has a prince, so it’s shame Taylor Lautner was in London on her big night.

She’s another contender.

From the sublime to tragic.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Kellie Pickler look so bad.

It’s not the fault of her David Meister pewter lame gown, it’s the hair.

The strawberry blonde colour doesn’t work. This is worst than a blonde Katharine McPhee.

Martina McBride wore a Georges Hobeika Fall 2008 Couture silver metallic strapless gown with a beaded bodice.

I loved the gown, but the draped detail on the hips didn’t work for me on Martina.

Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland never disappoints on the red carpet.

This time she wore a stunning strapless Luisa Beccaria Fall 2009 midnight blue siren tulle gown with a frilly detailed hem and train.

Michelle Branch shuns wearing a gown to give us a young cute look wearing an aqua blue Matthew Williamson jewel detailed dress from the Fall 2009 collection.

Carrie Underwood typically gives her big hair and an embellished dress, but her Theia dress is a bit shapeless for my liking.

Leann Rimes should be wearing red. j/k

The good girl gone bad lives us to her current image by vamping things up with heavy make-up, but contrasts that with a white angelic 3.1 Phillip Lim gown.

Faith Hill wore a beautiful mauve strapless Azzaro gown which already had a jeweled halter strap, so I’m confused as to why she then added more necklaces.

Feels like overkill to me which is a shame.

Miranda Lambert opted for a Nicole Miller gown with an open back and beaded details on the shoulders.
