The Foundation for Living Beauty 3rd Annual Fashion Fundraiser Presneted by Lanvin

The Foundation for Living Beauty hosted their 3rd annual fashion fundraiser on Saturday (April 26) to raise awareness for the Los Angeles-based non-profit organization, founded by Amie Satchu. The celebration was presented by Lanvin, so of course the guests were all decked out in pieces from the French brand.

Ashley Madekwe: The actress looked stunning wearing a Lanvin green strapless top with the brand’s distinctive structural skirt in navy. Her styling was perfection too, consisting of gold sandals and a green python clutch. Highlighting her eyes with dark-blue eye shadow, Ashley completed her look with nude lips and wavy side-swept tresses. The best of the bunch for me.

Emma Roberts: Opting for a green Lanvin techno jersey dress from the Spring 2014 collection, the frock, which features a T-shaped back and cutaway sides, was accessorized with a champagne-coloured Lanvin ‘Tejus’ clutch and black Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps.

Rashida Jones: Opting for shimmering bronze metallics, the actress wore a Lanvin Spring 2014 ‘Dream’ statement tee with loose-fit trousers. Toning down the shine somewhat, she added a black Lanvin cropped shawl-collar-lapel blazer. Would you’ve preferred this look without the blazer?

Jennifer Morrison In Elena Reva - SiriusXM Studios

Jennifer Morrison paid a visit to SiriusXM Studios on Friday (March 7) in New York City to promote Season 3 of ‘Once Upon a Time’.

The actress wore a summery look donning an Elena Reva Spring 2014 watercolour top and trousers styled with gold jewels and cream Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ pumps (just when we thought we’d finally seen the last of them).

I love the colours on Jennifer, but I don’t think the style of the look is so flattering on her.

You may remember that Holland Roden wore this same look to the premiere of ‘Vampire Academy’ last month.

Jennifer Morrison In Elisabetta Franchi - Art of Elysium Heaven Gala

Jennifer Morrison looked elegant at the Art of Elysium’s 7th annual Heaven Gala in Los Angeles, held at the Skirball Cultural Centre on Saturday night (January 11).

The actress, who has experimented with a variety of red carpet look in recent months, channelled the classic Hollywood starlet in a floor-length Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2013 gown and looked every inch the red carpet star.

The plunging neckline, thigh-high split and billowing arms may not be ground-breaking or particularly new, but Jennifer wowed and seems to have a found a look that really works for her.

A Jimmy Choo ‘Sweetie’ clutch and classic drop earrings added just the right amount of shine and were perfectly off-set by  a sultry smoky eye.

Jennifer Morrison In Max Mara & Monique Lhuilier - Toronto Film Festival

Jennifer Morrison didn’t miss the Toronto International Film Festival action either, as the ‘Once Upon A Time’ actress descended upon Canada for a trio of appearances over the last few days.

‘Gravity’ Premiere: The star walked down the red carpet for the Sunday premiere at Princess of Wales Theatre in a Max Mara white top and navy long skirt. The ensemble was rather safe, but just became strange when worn with the combination of a fishtail side braid, Christian Louboutin leopard pumps and a bubblegum-pink clutch.

‘August: Osage County’ Premiere: Unfortunately, I was getting the same lacklustre, daresay mumsy, vibes with Jennifer’s outfit at this premiere, hosted on Monday at Roy Thomson Hall. The washed-out blush-pink hue of her jacket and dress just didn’t do anything for this vibrant actress’s enviable figure, and the black clutch was far too intense.

InStyle & Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Annual TIFF Party: For yesterday’s event, hosted by Salvatore Ferragamo at the Windsor Arms Hotel, she got into the soiree spirit with an electric blue Monique Lhuillier strapless dress. Its embellished frothiness was complemented by a waist-cinching black sash. No need to look up or down, as the same topknot and black clutch from her second look were still in place; so too were those Louboutin leopard soles.

If I had to choose a favourite, it would be the Monique Lhuillier dress, minus the triple-play animal-print pumps that were paired with it.

Jennifer Morrison In Philosophy - 'Once Upon A Time' Press Line Comic-Con 2013

Jennifer Morrison attended the Comic-Con 2013 ‘Once Upon A Time’ press line at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel in California over the weekend.

The actress packed on the pastels with her Philosophy Spring 2013 ensemble that mixed together an abstract, floral-print bustier with a patchwork, purple-and-green pencil skirt, inspired by men’s ties.

The styling of these ultra-femme separates was not the fairytale I wanted it to be. The striped skirt was a letdown, as it was several inches too long, and the Saint Laurent cream ‘Tribtoo’ pumps were far too blunt.

A fishtail version of the braided updo trend, with face-framing tendrils, threw in a twee curveball. Still, I am far more enchanted if I just focus on the look from the waist up.
