Jennifer Lopez In Valentino & Marchesa Notte – American Idol XIV Top 12 Finalists Show & Party

Jennifer Lopez In Valentino & Marchesa Notte - American Idol XIV Top 12 Finalists Show & Party

‘American Idol XIV’ revealed the top 12 finalists in a live show that aired on Wednesday (March 11) in Hollywood, California.

Show: Picking up from where she left off last year, Jennifer Lopez continued to keep her looks short and sweet for the show, wearing a Valentino dress designed with all-over floral guipure lace that graced the simple silhouette with blooming overture. The thigh-grazing look was styled with matchy Versace shimmering orange sandals adding a decorative aura to her tonal look.

Finalist Party: There isn’t much positive I can say about Jennifer’s second Marchesa Notte Resort 2015 frock, with the length being the least of its worries. The sheer sleeves and gaudy embellishments are the worst offenders here, plus the styling is quite tragic, starting with the nude Casadei suede pumps. What really tops off this awful look is the makeup, with the foundation being a shade or two too light for the Latin star. In football (soccer) terms, this would be a straight red card.

Jennifer Lopez In Preen – Jimmy Kimmel Live

Jennifer Lopez In Preen - Jimmy Kimmel Live

Jennifer Lopez was spotted making her way to a studio in Hollywood, California, to tape her appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Tuesday (March 10) ahead of ‘American Idol’, which airs on Fox tonight.

The judge wore a Preen ‘Dew’ dress, which I love for the refined, minimalist take on a bandage-style dress along with the fiery red hue, figure-flattering silhouette and angular cut-outs along the back.

When Jen does matchy-matchy it doesn’t always work out, but her Casadei red pumps perfectly complemented her look on this occasion.

This is proof once again that when she’s not trying so hard she’s at her very best.

Jennifer Lopez In Zuhair Murad Couture – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Jennifer Lopez In Zuhair Murad Couture - 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Jennifer Lopez attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar party held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

After playing at being a princess in Elie Saab Couture for the main event, JLo came out to play for the party.

I had expected to see this naked embellished Zuhair Murad Spring 2015 Couture gown on Rita Ora, but I should’ve know this was clearly a JLo look.

What made me laugh, expression aside, was the attempt to cover up some of her modesty with the fur stole when everything else is on display.

The horse has bolted Jennifer, you might as well have left the fur stole at home.

Jennifer Lopez In Elie Saab Couture – 2015 Oscars

87th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

Jennifer Lopez floated on red carpet on Sunday (February 22) at the 2015 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

Swathed in Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture, Jennifer appeared as a luminous tulle-covered dream. Layers of romantic nude-hued tulle were speckled with monochromatic beading from the deep cut neckline, dripping all the way past the waistline, which was outfitted in the chicest and most slim belt.

Jennifer completed her red carpet style with a matching clutch by Salvatore Ferragamo and simple diamond drop earrings. Her high ponytail added a playful element to her high-drama dress and the light pink pout added to the feminine feel.

I really enjoyed seeing Jennifer in a more girly style, versus her typically super sexy style. Do you agree?

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.
