Amazing from every angle. I just can’t get enough of Rihanna at the moment.

Her style is just amazing. The hair is another variation of her chic crop and she is just effortless beautiful.

She is wearing a dark forest green grecian Gucci dress from the Fall 2007 collection.

Gush, gush and gushing some more.

Madonna, the host of the event, wore taupe cowl-neck jersey dress with matching shoes, whilst her gorgeous daughter Lourdes wore a black dress.

Could Amy Adams be more beautiful here?

I wish I could find a picture from the front, so this will do for now.

I love the colour and her new found confidence on the red carpet.

Gwyneth Paltrow has over cooked it here with the large bow.

The pink dress on it’s own, without the bow, may have been OK, but the grey shoes….eek.

Ali Larter choose a better pink salmon coloured strapless dress from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection.

I adore her strappy sandals also from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection.

Wow and then some.

Salma Hayek post-pregnancy figure is even more sexy than it was before.

Katie Holmes continues her impeccable style in this red Alexander McQueen structured pencil dress.

Had it not been for Rihanna’s gorgeousness, I would have been gushing over this dress.

Heidi Klum shows off her perfect pins in this mini chocolate dress.

Debra Messing is also wearing those gorgeous strappy sandals in gold, plus an ensemble of a pvc jacket, skirt and belt all from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection.

This is an edgy look we are not used to seeing on Debra, but is works and I love it.

Camilla Belle is better than this dry, boring dress.

To say I am disappointed is a very polite understatement.

This black Gucci Spring 2008 dress is too safe for Ellen Pompeo. Yes she tried the rock chick look with this draped black mini dress with her Louboutin booties, but she should have worn the pink or the monochrome runway versions.

I think these pictures are hilarious of Jennifer Lopez. Even in her pregnancy – like Christina Aguilera – she still trying to pull that sexy wanton face. So gross, yet so funny.

I like the way she jazzed up this chocolate dress by adding a snake skinned belt.

Drew Barrymore is another girl who opted for a Gucci Spring 2008 mini dress.

I think collection very much suits Drew’s sense of style.

I like Molly Sims dress, but it would have been better without the tights.

I am also not a fan of peep-toes with tights, so what could have been so great, just get an OK from me.

Alicia Keys, normally the risk taker, which granted always doesn’t pay off, played waaaayyyy too safe.

Great dress, great colour, great male candy, but the hair is just blah on Becki Newton.

This blue-black satin gown looks like it is just melting against Angie Harmon. Beautiful.

Dita Von Teese wore a strapless black satin and lace Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2008 mini dress plus a pink ribbon.

I guess it was a night for unnecessary pink bows.

Speaking of unnecessary bows, one was incorporated into Lucy Liu’s ivory dress.

There is pushing the envelope, and then there is plain crazy. This dress falls into the crazy section.

Yawn.

Demi Moore and Ashton, never seem happy to pose, they always look so bored.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are a perfectly coordinated couple. Gwen is wearing her own L.A.M.B. design.

Cassie is wearing these block colours very well. I love how they match her sandals.

Stunning dress. I love the colour and the embellishements on this gown, but Rachel Zoe’s face…..

Nelly Furtado has very much lost her sparkle despite shimmering in this grey satin dress with gold accents.

I guess only Cynthia Nixon was the only available Sex And The City cast member last night.

Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are red carpet queens and they know just how to create red carpet magic.

The collection they showed on Wednesday was full of drop-dead gorgeous dramatic numbers, although for me it was not as strong as previous seasons.

These ladies are strictly evening gowns and cocktail dresses, so no day-wear here.

The colour palette was mostly black, purple, red and ivory, with the one pale blue one-shouldered gown. Ruffles, rosettes and lace adorned the gowns to enhance the beauty of these creations.

They did not have a runway show, instead models were on blocks, as guests got the chance to walk around the models as though they were mannequins or works of art, taking in all angles of the beautiful gowns.

I especially loved the deep v-neck sequined lapel jumpsuit, and the more dramatic ruffled red carpet gowns.

You can see the whole collection here and here.

Jennifer Lopez will no doubt get more publicity than the dresses for her humongous baby bump. She looks cute enough wearing a silk teal embellished mini Notte by Marchesa dress with a Fendi bag.

Anne Hathaway is wearing a gorgeous peachy pink Marchesa Spring 2008 dress, but it is a shame we can not see it properly as she covered it with her leather jacket.

She poses here with actress Eliza Dushku, who is wearing a black strapless number.

Kate Walsh shows her support for the Marchesa girls wearing a black feathered Notte by Marchesa cocktail dress.

As does Rebecca Gayheart, in a ensemble very similar ensemble to the designer Keren.

We have had Fashion Rocks now we have Movies Rock.

Jennifer Lopez looks like she is expecting triplets in this white one-shouldered Versace 2008 Resort dress. She is glowing. Stunning.

Kate Hudson shows off her sexy figure in this tiny taffeta strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress. I am not a fan of tights, but Kate is working this look.

I love the red clutch and matching nail polish.

Jennifer Morrison gets better and better for me on the red carpet. I love those earrings.

This high neck Giambattista Valli Spring 2008 jumpsuit could be forgiven for being back to front, but it is not. Unlike Celine Dion who wore a back to front tuxedo to the 1999 Oscars.

Mary J Blige’s style swings from bad to fab. Here she is FAB.

This emerald sweetheart strapless Alexander McQueen Fall 2007 gown is incredibly flattering to her shape.

At last a new look for Jennifer Hudson wearing Michael Kors Fall 2007.

We are so used to seeing her in empire waisted dresses, that this strapless jumpsuit is a refreshing change.

This Dolce & Gabbana dress has been around for so long I am tired of seeing it on the red carpet. I expected better from Fergie. She normally looks great (dress-wise) on the red carpet.

I am not a fan of hats on the red carpet, although Eve works it well here.

I hate those tattoos, I wish she would keep them covered up.

Ick. This bubblegum pink dress with gold shoes is just hideous.

I wish Emmy Rossum would sexy it up every now and then. These cutesy pink dresses are just so contrived.

Diane Kruger wears an interesting version of the little black dress wearing a Balmain Spring 2008 mini with embellishments to give it an edgy look.

Not sure about the red lips.

Carrie Underwood doesn’t over do it on this occasion, which she has been guilty of in the past. I love how this red dress with gold embellishments works on Carrie and makes her skin glow.

I am starting to tire of Beyonce squeezing herself into dresses. She can barely stand straight in this Zac Posen 2008 Resort dress.

Dita Von Teese wore this Marchesa Fall 2007 dress to the British Fashion Awards last night.

Are you thinking this dress looks familiar?

Well that is because Jennifer Lopez wore the longer verison of this dress to the Costume Institute Gala back in May.

Jennifer Lopez is seen by many as a trendsetter, but Chinese actress Kelly Lin wore this flapper style Roberto Cavalli dress the day before Jennifer did. Kelly wore this dress to the “Shentan (Mad Detective)” Screening at the Venice Film Festival in September.

Jennifer Lopez wore her dress to the New York Fashion Rocks Event in September.

Both wore strappy peep-toe sandals and carried a black clutch.

Kelly may have wore it first, but Jennifer Lopez wore it better.
