Which Was Your Favourite Jennifer Lawrence Awards Season 2013 Look

While it wasn’t quite the award season run we expected – with more misses than hits – Jennifer Lawrence did managed to end on a high.

My favourite looks were her Prabal Gurung AFI Award look, plus her Oscar and Vanity Fair party gowns.

Jennifer Lawrence In Lanvin - The Weinstein Company Academy Award Party

Before gracefully tripping over her Christian Dior Couture gown to collect her ‘Best Actress’ Oscar statuette on Sunday, Jennifer Lawrence joined Kerry Washington on the red carpet at Soho House in West Hollywood, California on Saturday for the Weinstein Company Academy Award Party hosted by Chopard; this followed the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards on what was a very busy weekend.

Wearing her second Lanvin Spring 2013 look, she donned a black-and-white sleeveless vest with an asymmetrical lapel and black pants.

Once again, this look is young and sexy. Where was this type of look during the start of awards season?

A gold Lanvin cuff, black Bottega Veneta clutch and gold strappy sandals completed her look.

I would’ve preferred her hair up, but I guess that it’s down to detract from the deep plunging neckline.

You can buy Jennifer’s Lanvin vest from Nordstrom and Barneys.com.

Jennifer Lawrence In Calvin Klein - 2013 Vanity Fair Party

Aside from her Oscar win, Jennifer Lawrence’s other silver lining at the 2013 Academy Awards might just have been her dazzling Vanity Fair party gown, which was glimpsed at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles, California.

After experiencing every starlet’s worst nightmare—falling on Hollywood’s biggest night—the ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actress exchanged her voluminous Dior ball gown for a custom Calvin Klein dress that was easier to walk in.

This body-con, glittery gunmetal creation was completely out of character for the unembellished, plain-Jane Jennifer we’ve seen lately. And it was marvelous just for that reason.

In particular, I’m applauding the sculpted bodice and the straps; a genius new direction from that same-old strapless silhouette.

It doesn’t hurt that this liquid metallic look matched her Oscar perfectly.

Stacks of bronze, gem-encrusted bangles and a pair of matching drop earrings topped off the ensemble.

Did Jennifer win you over with her shiny new style on Sunday night?

Best actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence stunned as she made her way down the red carpet Sunday at the 2013 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The young ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actress wore Dior Haute Couture for her big night, and the dress made a big impact.

By choosing to wear a delicate Chopard necklace down her back, Jennifer is undoubtably restarting a back jewelry trend, and I’m eager to see how quickly it takes off.

Jennifer’s flawless skin and subtle smokey eyes keep her makeup look fresh and young, which keeps the voluminous dress from aging her. I have a feeling people will be crying ‘wedding gown’ on this one, but I think it’s stunning and perfectly apropos for the occasion.

Jennifer Lawrence In Lanvin - 2013 Independent Spirit Awards

Jennifer Lawrence stunned at the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards this afternoon which was held on Santa Monica Beach, California.

The actress, whose Dior run has been a bit of a snooze, fared much better in this youthful Lanvin Spring 2013 look.

Her bodysuit with crystal choker was styled with a wrap skirt with an asymmetrical hem which was accented with an obi style belt.

Managing to work this look without side boob was quite a feat, so she should also get credit for that.

A simple top-knot, Sylva & Cie jewelry and black strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals with a metal heel completed the look.

With the Academy Awards just around the corner, Dior has released the first set of pictures of Jennifer Lawrence’s Miss Dior Campaign.

The Oscar nominated actress for ‘Sliver Linings Playbook’, was shot by Willy Vanderperre wearing pieces from the Spring 2013 collection.

Glamorously showcasing both blue and rose-pink Miss Dior chain-accented bags, the other two black-and-white images are close up beauty shots.

I’m very impressed with this campaign so-far. As you know I haven’t been the biggest champion of the Lawrence-Dior collabo, but I have to eat my words on this occasion.
