Jennifer Lawrence In Jason Wu – ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ World Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence In Jason Wu - ‘X-Men Days Of Future Past’ World Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence attended the ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ world premiere held at Jacob Javits Center on Saturday (May 10) in New York City.

Yes, you guessed it, she’s not wearing Dior.

Breaking her red carpet run, that spans over a year, the actress shifted gears wearing a Jason Wu Fall 2014 velvet chiffon jacquard bias slip gown styled with Ana Khouri jewels and a black Kotur clutch.

This comes hot off the heels of Marion Cotillard’s non-Dior look earlier this week, so does this mean the brand are loosening the reins on their brand ambassadors?

Let’s hope so, because to say it was becoming predictable was the understatement of the century.

Jennifer Lawrence In Chloé & 3.1 Phillip Lim – Good Morning America

Jennifer Lawrence In Chloé - Good Morning America

Jennifer Lawrence was spotted headed to ABC studios in New York City to pre-tape an interview for Good Morning America on Monday (April 21).

The ‘America Hustle’ actress was sporting a slightly longer, choppy bob, which I’m sure will delight those who were saying during awards season that her ‘Lady Di’ do was drastically aging her.

Her stylish look consists of a 3.1 Phillip Lim cream fit-and-flare halter dress, styled with a white Chloé jacquard blazer with metallic gold flecks crafted with padded shoulders. I like how this sharp silhouette will adds structure to her playful dress.

Jimmy Choo ‘Vapour’ sandals, Tory Burch ‘Magpie’ shades and a Balenciaga clutch completed her street chic look.

Beauty Trend Spotting: Part-less Hair

Beauty Trend Spotting Part-less Hair

The perfect way to keep your stray hairs out of your face, without resorting to a ponytail, is to go part-less. What’s even better, this trend can be worn on various lengths. Several celebs have decided to stop hiding behind a hairstyle and are letting their face take center stage.

The extra height at the crown adds instant drama. Start by blow-drying freshly washed hair upside down and lifting roots with a round brush. Once you’re finished, flip hair up and gently finger comb strands backwards.

Keeping your tresses smooth and frizz free is key. To create the sleekness of Mary-Kate Olsen’s style, try Oribe’s smooth style serum.

For instant glam like Emmy Rossum, add romantic waves to the ends of you hair. Opt for a 2-inch barrel iron such as Hot Tools Gold Curling Iron.

If you’re feeling a bit edgier, keep straighten ends as seen on Emma Watson. Avoid heat overload by protecting hair with Tresemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray.

And who could forget Jennifer Lawrence’s brushed back pixie? Extra volume is a must for shorter strands. Saturate roots with Aussie Ausome Volume Spray Gel to achieve maximum height.

Which Was Your Favourite Jennifer Lawrence 2014 Awards Season Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Jennifer Lawrence 2014 Awards Season Look

Looking back on Jennifer Lawrence’s awards season, my reaction was “was that it?”

We expected a Dior fest, but it just dawned on me that she only attended four events.

Starting with the much-ridiculed Golden Globes Couture gown (which I found myself warming to), she then moved on to my favourite, her SAG Awards Couture gown, before ending with a so-so Couture gown at the Oscars and a sparkling Tom Ford number at the Vanity Fair party.

Despite the short run, was it better than last season?

I would say it’s six of one and half a dozen of the other; however, none of these looks comes close to her Oscars Dior Couture gown of 2013.

Jennifer Lawrence In Tom Ford - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Jennifer Lawrence attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood, California, on Sunday (March 2).

Changing out of her statuesque Christian Dior Couture gown, Jennifer went for a complete over-haul in a high-octane, heavily embellished Tom Ford mini dress.

With a heavy dose of kohl and a sexy black sandal, Jennifer rocked the after party red carpet in this stand-out number.

Not only is it amazing to see her legs, it’s also highly refreshing to see her switch up her look to something more youthful and edgy.

And hopefully the revealing length meant she didn’t trip in this one…
