Jennifer Lawrence In Antonio Berardi – ‘The Hunger Games’ Exhibition Opening

Jennifer Lawrence In Antonio Berardi - 'The Hunger Games' Exhibition Opening

Jennifer Lawrence was spotted leaving her apartment in New York City on Tuesday (June 29), en route to ‘The Hunger Games’ exhibition opening.

I love how the precision-placed macramé lace brings artisanal elegance to the classic silhouette of her Antonio Berardi white cotton Resort 2015 dress.

Her dress was the very epitome of summer femininity, so I’m glad she styled the look effortlessly with Tom Ford shades, a Roger Vivier ‘Prismick’ shoulder bag and nude sandals.

Jennifer Lawrence Loves Her…Elizabeth and James Cynnie Woven Mini Bucket Bag

Jennifer Lawrence Loves Her Elizabeth and James Cynnie Woven Mini Bucket Bag

When Jennifer Lawrence isn’t on the red carpet, the actress and face of Dior lets her hair down, retreating to more casual, carefree looks imbued with tomboy charm.

The currently favoured plus-one to her street-style looks is none other than the Elizabeth and James Cynnie woven mini bucket bag, proving its power as the perfect complement.

The on-trend bucket shape of the purse, manifested in Jennifer’s preferred geometric black-and-white print, merges a cool-girl spirit with classic urban refinement.

The bag may be small but it packs a punch, adding a touch of sophisticated edge to everything from ripped jeans and tees to hippie-chic paint-splattered bellbottoms.

That’s one mighty mini.

Jennifer Lawrence In Galvan – Met Gala After Party

Jennifer Lawrence In Galvan - Met Gala After Party

Jennifer Lawrence also let her hair down for the Met Gala after party on Monday (May 4).

The ‘Hunger Games’ actress ditched her ageing Dior Haute Couture look for a 90s-inspired slinky silver Galvan slip dress from the Fall 2015 collection.

For the first time in a long time she looked radiant; and I’m not just referring to the metallic design or the selection of silver jewels.

This look, which is probably one of her best of the year so far, will no doubt fan the desires of those seeking to free Jennifer from her Dior contract.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture – 2015 Met Gala

Jennifer Lawrence attended the 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

As she’s serving as the co-host, I had high hopes for her sartorial selection. But sadly they weren’t quite fulfilled.

It will come as no surprise that she is wearing Christian Dior, this time a Spring 2015 Couture gown modified from the runway. Nor will many be shocked that this designer number falls more into the underwhelming category, especially for an evening such as this.

While some elements of the dress are promising, including the mod, Asian-inspired floral embellishment that traces down the back of the gown, I cannot get past the contrasting bib-like addition at the neckline.

Remove the distraction of the bib; swap the pink lip for a richer red hue; and add a statement pair of exquisite earrings; and we may have had ourselves a marginally better look.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture & Helmut Lang – ‘Serena’ New York Screening, After-Party & Press Junket

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture - 'Serena' New York Screening

Jennifer Lawrence attended the screening of her latest movie ‘Serena’ on Saturday (March 21) in New York City.

The actress wore a Christian Dior Spring 2015 Couture striped sequin and off white cotton guipure dress, with cut-out details which had me singing hallelujah.

All too often I find Jennifer’s looks can be aging, but here she opts for a contemporary look which is modern, injecting a youthful viability back into her red carpet repertoire, taking me back to the good ol’ days of her first Hunger Games promo tour.

The look was styled with Kimberly Mcdonald and Ana Khouri jewels and simple sandals.

Are you as excited about this look as I am?
