Jennifer Hudson showed off her trim figure on the red carpet prior to taking to the stage to perform at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada, last week for ‘We Day’.
The singer/actress wore a Versace Fall 2012 dress.
Her slinky LBD with silver panels and grommet details was styled with black Versace pumps.
I love the unexpected frosty pink nail and lip colour which added a girlie touch to her temptress look.

Jennifer Hudson strutted her stuff on the for the Project Runway Fashion Show over the weekend.
The singer and actress wore a Michael Kors strapless jumpsuit and matching blazer from the designers Resort 2013 collection for the event.
Jennifer was obviously brimming with confidence in this matchy-matchy outfit – and who could blame her?
Although I’d rather see some more contrast than the minimal gold accents, there’s no denying she looks great.
A Michael Kors python belt, matching earrings, Charlotte Olympia pumps and an orange lip completed her look.
You guys couldn’t decide between Selita Ebanks’ elaborate Falguni and Shane Peacock dress and Diane Kruger in a 3.1 Phillip Lim simple, sophisticated tuxedo-inspired dress for your best dressed this week.
I had a hard task picking one.
In the end I decided on Jennifer Hudson as it was the best she’s looked in a long while and I’m glad she’s opting for a different silhouette to her favoured fitted dresses.

Jennifer Hudson performed at the 39th Annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 4th, held at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade.
Before the fireworks display, the Grammy- and Oscar-winning actress showcased her powerhouse vocal ability as she sang renditions of Nina Simone’s ‘Feeling Good’ and Jennifer Holiday’s ‘And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going’.
The singer looked stunning wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown.
Her zebra-printed jersey dress which wrapped around her gorgeous figure was held together by a jewel-encrusted ring at the hip to highlight the deep neckline and dramatic front slit of a sultry floor-sweeping gown.
Opting for a selection of rings, Jennifer also accessorized her look with blush T-bar sandals.
Blunt bangs and a dark pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.
You can buy Jennifer’s Roberto Cavalli dress from Selfridges and Nordstrom.com.
Miranda Kerr was the first to be spotted wearing this star-print Equipment shirt whilst running errands in New York City with her cute puppy.
The model looked uber-chic strolling the streets of Manhattan teaming her blouse with navy cropped pants, Lanvin pumps and a Celine bag.
Jennifer Hudson wore the same shirt recently for her guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’.
The singer opted to wear a top under her sheer blouse which she teamed with black pants.
Giuseppe Zanotti jewel-tasseled loafers completed her look.
Many of you didn’t like the fact that Miranda didn’t line her sheer blouse, but she wins for me.
When it comes to street-style she always comes out on top.
You can buy their Equipment shirt from Intermix and Neiman Marcus.
Jennifer Hudson attended Samsung’s Annual Hope for Children Gala at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday in New York City.
The singer/actress and living proof that Weight Watchers does work wore a Givenchy Spring 2012 head-to-toe look.
She teamed a peach sleeveless silk shirt featuring a large pointed collar and a silver-tone metal top clasp fastening with a stretch fine jersey knit skirt with a circular cut-out hem.
Peachy Givenchy ankle-strap sandals, which we’ve seen on Cassie and Diane Kruger, plus a selection of gold jewels accessorized her look.
I love the look, but I’m not crazy about her curly hair. It feels so fussy for this chic ensemble.
I would’ve also loved it if Jennifer had opted for a natural nail colour: the lavender polish is jarring.
You can buy Jennifer’s Givenchy shirt from farfetch.com and S|sense.com.
Her Givenchy skirt is available in black from farfetch.com and in white from S|sense.com.
Since Diane Kruger wore these Givenchy heels in white they have sold-out, but Net-A-Porter.com and
Selfridges have them in black.
