Who Wore Dsquared² Better? Jennifer Hudson or Alesha Dixon?

Jennifer Hudson and Alesha Dixon both wore this Dsquared² marigold dress within a month of each other.

Jennifer lit up the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala, while Dixon wowed the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ audience.

This is a classic case of how accessories can make or break a look.

Jennifer’s black over embellished pumps were so wrong for this look, while Alesha going for gold – both in her accessories and her makeup – saw her bring home the trophy.

Jennifer Hudson In A.W.A.K.E. – 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Jennifer Hudson looked on-trend at the 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards on Tuesday (June 6).

The singer went for a monochrome palette with flattering black and white panels and ruffle details. Her A.W.A.K.E Spring 2017 dress was the epitome of effortless cool and made a big red carpet statement – especially considering this look fell below-the-knee for a refreshing change.

I always love how the singer styles her short hair style, and this look was no exception. The simple red lip was the perfect pop of colour this dress needed.

Jennifer Hudson In Gucci – Entertainment Weekly And PEOPLE Upfronts Party

Following the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront event, Jennifer Hudson was back on the red carpet for the Entertainment Weekly and PEOPLE Upfronts Party on Monday (May 15).

Jennifer, who will be a judge on the upcoming season of ‘The Voice’, wore another mini, this time a floral purple mini from the Gucci Spring 2017 collection.

While the lively violet works well on Jennifer, the ruching on the hips and airy sleeves makes for odd proportions on Jennifer.

Does the fit overshadows the positives for you?

Charlize Theron made a more successful choice by selecting the commercial version of the same dress during CinemaCon back in March.

2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet Roundup

Many more notable names joined Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront on Monday (May 15) in New York City.

America Ferrera: The actress was awash in a lovely spring fever with this ladylike Saloni ‘Grace’ off-the-shoulder, floral-print frock. Too bad about the pumps, as a sandal in an equally vibrant hue would have been far more suitable.

Nicole Richie: Laid-back elegance defined these classically simple Josie Natori cami with a Galvan Resort 2017 wrap skirt.

Jessica Biel: Designer Roland Mouret’s signature sharp silhouette and folded detailing morphed into a look of ultimate feminine sophistication in this ‘Sawleigh’ peplum dress in a rich cranberry hue. It fit Jessica like a beautiful glove.

Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Joining Ruth Negga and Haley Bennett were a number of other eclectically outfitted stars at the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala on Friday (April 21) in New York City that had me questioning exactly what the dress code requested.

Doutzen Kroes: The model hid her beautiful form in a Céline Resort 2017 ensemble that boasted of quite clownish proportions. I’m afraid I cannot hop aboard the oversize look here that just translates as messy, especially with Doutzen’s barely-there beauty and afterthought hair.
