2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the other lovely ladies who attended the 2015 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 9) in New York City.

Iman: The supermodel was in no mood to share the spotlight, taking to the red carpet in a dramatic Brandon Maxwell Spring 2016 gown with voluminous sleeves. I love how this piece oozes  couture craftsmanship. You may remember that Lady Gaga wore this in white to the Emmys after-party.

Victoria Beckham: The British designer was one of the big winners on the night. She collected her award wearing a sultry red gown from her Spring 2016 collection.

Jennifer Hudson attended the 2015 New York City Ballet Fall Gala at the Lincoln Center on Wednesday (September 30) in New York City.

The singer had a fairytale moment wearing a shimmering champagne-hued Prabal Gurung custom made gown which saw both the designer and wearer step outside their comfort zone.

Both known for their edgier styles, this graceful gown was the perfect way to celebrate this occasion.

The look was completed with KWIAT jewels.

2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

Vanity Fair Party

Here is an quick roundup from the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which took place on Sunday (February 22).

Jane Fonda: The actress shows us that Zuhair Murad doesn’t always spell tacky. This Spring 2015 Couture jumpsuit is divine and she is working it like no other. Kudos to her. Jimmy Choo ‘Creole’ pumps and a Rauwolf clutch accessorized her look.

Regina King: This Nicolas Jebran gown won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I love the artful colours on this design. I don’t, however, like the illusion neckline. Not close enough to her skin tone.

Leslie Mann: Like Naomi Watts, Leslie went the white suiting route, layering up with a selection of gold Neil Lane jewels the look probably didn’t really require so much of.

Jennifer Hudson In Romona Keveza – 2015 Oscars

Jennifer Hudson looked lovely as she walked the red carpet of the 2015 Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday (February 22).

The Academy Award winner wore a strapless, butter yellow gown from the Romona Keveza Spring 2015 collection with Jimmy Choo ‘Minnie’ sandals.

The sleek lines of the gown and its half peplum and tiny accent belt are classic and chic, while the color adds a splash of fun to the simple silhouette.

The bold emerald and diamond earrings and cocktail ring are a lovely contrasting color, and offer the perfect stylistic dialogue with the gown.

Jennifer’s sleek hair, flawless skin and subtle makeup complete the look.

Jennifer Hudson In Givenchy & Topshop – The Today Show

Jennifer Hudson In Givenchy & Topshop - The Today Show

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson stopped by ‘The Today Show’ yesterday morning (August 19) to perform her single, “It’s Your World”, crowd favourite “And I Am Telling You” from ‘Dreamgirls’ (the role that earned her an Oscar), plus she debuted a brand new song entitled “Dangerous.”

The singer opted for a more laidback urban street-style look in dark hues, donning a cropped black Givenchy hoodie and a cropped Topshop long-sleeved top with ‘STRONG’ emblazoned on the front, paired with Topshop MOTO distressed jeans and Sergio Rossi ‘Rockstar’ leather booties.

While it’s great to see her working a new look, I can’t say I’m excited about it. I prefer to see her working a more polished look.

I think the mom jeans are really throwing me off this look.

Save this for Rihanna or Rita Ora’s street-style looks.

Jennifer’s new album, JHud, is set for release on September 23.
