Jennifer Garner In Gucci – 2013 Oscars

Jennifer Garner stood out from the sea of muted dresses on the red carpet Sunday at the 2013 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The ‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green’ actress wore a custom Gucci gown that looked stunning against her ivory skin.

The actress carried a Roger Vivier clutch and wore Neil Lane jewelry and in a year when most of the stars on the red carpet are taking a simplistic approach to their styling, her $2.5 million worth of jewels and dramatic ruffles evoke the spirit of years past when opulence was more du jour.

I love Jennifer’s brown smokey eyes and slightly messy updo, but her matte nude lips are just begging for at least a little shine.

Jennifer Garner managed to look incredibly chic and not at all bothered by the rain and the chill, as she flashed a big smile at the 2013 EE British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards hosted on Sunday at the Royal Opera House in London, England.

Once again walking the red carpet in support of her nominated husband, ‘Argo’ star Ben Affleck, the actress captured her fair share of the limelight in a supremely sophisticated Roland Mouret Spring 2013 outing.

The chic graphic and architectural silhouette of this dress was highlighted with its waist-cinching sash detail and strong peplum, sculpted to Jennifer’s enviable figure.

The ensemble was manipulated from its runway debut to make it more appropriate for the red carpet with the exchange of a long black skirt for the shorter green version.

In addition to a Roger Vivier black clutch, the other finishing touches to this glamour-girl look came in the form of a simple updo and well-placed diamond jewelry.

Jennifer Garner In Antonio Berardi – 2013 DGA Awards

Taking the red-carpet ride for another spin in support of her husband, ‘Argo’ star Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner attended the 2013 Directors Guild of America Awards last night, hosted at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland Center in California.

While Ben won DGA’s top prize for his CIA thriller, Jennifer shone brightly in her pristine white Antonio Berardi Resort 2013 fitted frock, featuring a smattering of mini-floral embellishment at the bodice.

She interpreted the dress more formally than the designer’s lookbook version, opting for an air of simplicity by skipping the waist-cinching belt and the burnt orange shoes.

Instead, a flash of silver came into play via the Salvatore Ferragamo box clutch and peep-toe heels, while sparkle came courtesy of Cartier jewels.

Offsetting the high neckline, she smartly pulled her hair back into an updo and added a pop of color with a berry lip.

Jennifer Garner In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 SAG Awards

Jennifer Garner may have stolen the spotlight from her nominee husband, ‘Argo’ actor and director Ben Affleck, at the 2013 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California this evening.

The actress switched gears from mom-on-the-go to glamour goddess for the red carpet, wearing a strapless, golden bronze Oscar de la Renta gown from Pre-Fall 2013.

Intricately embroidered, the dress on Jennifer is actually preferred to the runway statement, where a gold shrug embellished with paillettes intruded on the sheer glamour of the design.

The look was paired with a matching Ferragamp clutch and minimal David Webb jewels (not much else was needed with this genius metallic moment!).

The softness of Jennifer’s brunette waves and her pretty berry lip were the right fit with the more structured line of the dress.

Jennifer Garner In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 Producers Guild Awards

Jennifer Garner joined the other ladies-in-black who took to the red carpet last night for the 2013 Producers Guild Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.

The actress wore a black Oscar de la Renta knee-length dress featuring a sheer embroidered lace overlay and a lace ruffled hem.

Black satin Brian Atwood pumps, Cartier jewels and a Roger Vivier clutch accessorized her look.

A simple half-up, half-down hairstyle and neutral makeup provided the finishing touches.

Nice, but uninspiring. Jennifer can do better.

Jennifer Garner In Vivienne Westwood Couture – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Jennifer Garner supported nominated hubby Ben Affleck at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.

The actress wore a striking red Vivienne Westwood Couture beaded strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline for an ultra glam look.

Gold bangles and earrings by David Webb and a simple updo completed her look.

We’re so used to seeing her in jeans and flannels shirts, that it’s always a delight to see Jennifer glammed up on the red carpet.
