Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton – ‘In The Heart Of The Sea’ New York Premiere

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton - 'In The Heart Of The Sea' New York Premiere

Jennifer Connelly was also at the ‘In The Heart Of The Sea’ premiere with actor Paul Bettany, hosted at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday (December 7) in New York City.

As to be expected, the actress was in a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton look, this one hailing from the Spring 2016 collection.

Dialling back the tough-girl, moto sensiblity seen on the runway, she skipped the leather biker jacket and wore the pleated, printed skirt with an asymmetrical sweater.

The most intriguing element, though, were her white booties with the chain-link heel. Although they were white, they added a dollop of cool edge that made me pay attention to this look.

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton – ‘Shelter’ New York Premiere

Jennifer Connelly attended the ‘Shelter’ New York premiere held at The Whitney Museum of American Art on Wednesday (November 11) in New York City.

The Louis Vuitton (Nicolas Ghesquière) devotee wore a look from the Spring 2016 collection which sees her embrace a new, loose, fluid silhouette.

I would’ve been totally on board with this effortless bohemian glam look had it not been for the LV bag.

Is it me, or does the bag feel too juvenile?

I can picture Paris Hilton carrying this with a head-to-toe Moschino Barbie outfit.

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton – 2015 Met Gala

Jennifer Connelly was also in the mix at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Naturally, she was dressed in a custom Louis Vuitton gown. But, unfortunately, I only had the experience of déjà vu upon seeing this look.

While the architectural detailing and the explosion of lace were striking, this was merely a gown version of the short dresses we’ve previously seen, including a very similar silhouette at the recent Tribeca Film Festival.

The addition of the ear cuff does nothing to elevate the look either. Would you agree?

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton – ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’ New York Screening

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton - 'Avengers Age of Ultron' New York Screening

Jennifer Connelly attended the ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’ screening at the SVA Theatre in New York City on Tuesday (April 28).

To no one’s surprise, the actress relied on the same Louis Vuitton style equation in this Fall 2015 black frock that radiated with metallic embroidery.

Like her last LV entrance, this one featured puffed, mutton-inspired statement shoulders and sleeves adding a bit of flair to the standard short-dress silhouette.

Her shoe choice was rather safe, too. Black pumps were the easy answer and certainly fit the bill, but an unexpected contrast would have been welcomed—not that I’m necessarily advocating for the runway’s white pair.

That said, in light of the predictable fashion statement, she wears it with effortless ease and I did appreciate the richness of the multicoloured metallics which are beautifully echoed in her bold berry lip.

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton – ‘Aloft’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Jennifer Connelly In Louis Vuitton - 'Aloft' Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Jennifer Connelly attended 2015 Tribeca Film Festival New York premiere of ‘Aloft’ at BMCC Tribeca PAC, on Friday (April 24) in New York City.

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 dress, with a unique silhouette thanks to the pronounced shoulders.

I loved the look on the runway given an edge with the ankle boots, so the Mary Janes worn by Jennifer are a bit of a disconnect.

Perhaps I am just making excuses as my real issue is that Jennifer doesn’t serve up any surprises anymore, as her red carpet looks are so predictable and very formulaic. Same designer, same style, same silhouette….
