“The Bounty Hunter” New York Premiere – Jennifer Aniston In Donna Karan

It’s way past midnight here in London, but for some reason I couldn’t sleep.

It appears my red carpet senses were deliberately keeping me awake because a momentous occasion was happening on the red carpet in New York at “The Bounty Hunter” premiere.

Jennifer Aniston was on the red carpet not wearing a stitch of black. *faints*

This is the second time I’ve looked at Jennifer and said WOW.

The first time was at the Women In Film’s 2009 Crystal And Lucy Awards.

Many of you may think I’m hard on her, but that’s because I know she can look A-Friggin-Mazing like this.

Why be bland, when you can look this beautiful?

The actress wore a nude Donna Karan Spring 2010 asymmetrical dress which draped beautifully as she wore it off-the-shoulder.

She added gold bracelets, nude heels and a tan Ferragamo to complemented the dress.

BDOTW contender for sure.

I love this look so much I won’t mention her ~~never changing hairstyle~~.

“The Bounty Hunter” London Premiere Red Carpet – Jennifer Aniston In Valentino Couture

It’s cold night in London tonight so I won’t give Jennifer Aniston too much of a hard time for walking the red carpet wearing a black blazer at “The Bounty Hunter” Gala Premiere.

The actress who arrived with co-star Gerard Butler (in Gucci) should be given credit for not wearing a black dress and for showing off her toned legs wearing an ultra mini Valentino Fall 2009 Couture silver shimmering dress.

Wouldn’t it have been amazing if she’d worn the runway coat? *dreams*

I love the dress. It’s cute, it’s sassy and most importantly it NOT black. (yes I know I mentioned this already)

As much as I’m liking the dress, loving the silver Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals and not hating the blazer, I do however wish she would do something new with her hair.

Wasn’t Friend like 10 years ago? Seriously Jen even a ponytail will do at this point, but pleeeease give us something new.

Jennifer Aniston & Gerard Butler For W Magazine April 2010

Jennifer Aniston looks very sexy as she gets close to Gerard Butler on the cover of W Magazine’s April 2010 issue, which must mean she has a movie to promote – “The Bounty Hunter”.

The spread was shot at a ranch outside LA by Steven Klein, he who shot Brad and Angelina’s infamous ‘domestic bliss’ editorial for the magazine in 2005.

This one is titled “Speed Trap” which sees Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.

Jen does look gorgeous wearing an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 silk chiffon dress paired with a Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture bra, Stella McCartney’s garters and Lanvin shoes.

2010 Golden Globe Awards – Press Room

Now this is more like it.

I adore Nicole Kidman’s ivory Nina Ricci Spring 2010 bias dress with delicately placed bows.

This look is so refreshing from all the fitted dresses she’s been wearing recently.

I love the colour, her side swept bun and she appears to be make-up malfunction free.

The pictures of Mo’Nique on the red carpet weren’t very flattering as she was holding the gown by her knees to keep the hem dry, but in the press room we got at better look at her.

The ‘Best Supporting Actress’ Golden Globe winner looked sensational wearing strapless gold Reem Acra custom-made gown.

I like that she kept the neck bare as a large necklace may have over shadowed her beautiful yet simple gown.

Surprisingly I don’t hate Jennifer Aniston in this black Valentino Pre-Fall 2010 gown.

Maybe it’s because of the sexy thigh-high split, or the confidence oozing out of her, or that sultry (for her) make-up or maybe it’s the sleep deprivation kicking.

Whilst I like the dress, heels and make-up, I’m still begging for a hairstyle change. Just a pony or updo will suffice.

Julianna Margulies was also a winner on the night, collecting the award for ‘Best Actress in a Drama’ for her role in “The Good Wife”.

She opted for an interesting Narciso Rodriguez black gown with a blood red shimmering asymmetrical bodice.

It been a long time since I was excited about Kate Winslet on the red carpet.

That midnight blue YSL gown is a great colour for her and the cut flatters her figure so beautifully.

The gown is accented with a pearl and crystal embroidery detail.

Great Kate is back.

Halle Berry wore a Kaufman Franco black silk bias cut gown with lace inserts.

She looked gorgeous but it’s the same plunging neckline and silhouette we’ve seen a million times before.

So whilst I like it, I’m also incredibly bored by it.

Hotel La Mamounia Re-Opening Gala

I really wanted to love Gwyneth Paltrow in her nude Donna Karan Spring 2010 one-sleeved gown, but for me something was severely lacking.

On the runway the shorter version had a contrasting tie around the waist to break-up the colour, and I wish Gwynie had added something to her look to do the same.

A brooch, a belt, some bracelets, a necklace…just anything to add a bit of life to her look would have made a huge difference.

The poker straight hair which we’ve seen a million times doesn’t help this look either.

Juliette Binoche thankfully opted for a bright red Lanvin Resort 2010 halter silk gown with a ruffled neckline.

I’m glad she opted out of the red bow on the waist, as it may have thrown the look off balance.

Black accessories and stunning ruby earrings complete the look.

Spanish actress Pilar Lopez de Ayala wore the same black floor-length Chanel Fall 2009 draped skirt which we saw on Jessica Schwarz at the Bambi Awards last week.

Pilar opted for a slightly different sleeveless shirt with a more pronounced collar.

Salma Hayek wore a black Gucci asymmetrical gown, which was accented with a brooch detail on the shoulder.

Not my favourite Salma look it has to be said.

She’s running hot and cold for me on the red carpet.

Of course Jennifer Aniston wore black ,and of course her hairstyle was EXACTLY the same as it’s always been.

Apparently her guest for the night was her hairstylist Chris McMillan.

This guy has the sweetest gig in Hollywood.

What does he do at the most? Trim her hair and run a comb through it?

Hey Chris, why don’t you do something crazy with Jennifer’s hair like put it up in a ponytail or an updo once in a while?

This Groundhog hairstyle is so b.o.r.i.n.g.

Whilst Jennifer proved my point that black dresses can be so boring, Miranda Kerr totally contradicts that by looking gorgeous in this very simple Burberry sleeveless gown.

A fierce pose, some stunning jewels, a sleek updo and gorgeous smile make the difference.

Runway To “Love Happens” LA Premiere – Jennifer Aniston In Valentino Couture

I was convinced that Jennifer Aniston not wearing black on her last red carpet appearance was a one-off, but she thankfully proves me wrong.

Last night at the “Love Happens” LA Premiere she looked beautiful wearing a silver embroidered Valentino Fall 2009 Couture tunic dress with matching strappy Christian Louboutin sandals.

OK it’s not pink with polka dots, but it’s progress people. Baby steps.

I love her look. It’s a bit sexy, young and chic, but I’m not sure if it’s a BDOTW contender.

What do you think?

Valentino is getting a lot of red carpet and editorial action at the moment, as a whole new generation is appreciating the edgier direction.

OK now we appear to have the dress situation under control, now I can move onto her never changing hairstyle.
