Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture & Jena Malone In Reem Acra – ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Oslo Premiere

Premiere The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

After two days and several phone calls to Norway and Sweden I finally have the golden picture from the Oslo premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, as I was not prepared to allow these two stunning gowns to go to waste or settle for grainy Instagram pictures or stolen pictures, as some other websites settled for.

Elizabeth Banks: The actress donned her second Elie Saab Fall 2013 Couture dress in a row, wearing a striking emerald-green sleeveless embroidered fit-and-flare dress with a plunging neckline, which was styled with matching Jimmy Choo ‘Freya’ sandals, Irene Neuwirth emerald earrings, emerald rings from Marina B and Jacob & Co., plus she arrived at the event carrying a Charlotte Olympia Perspex clutch with a custom green pouch. It was another fairytale, heart-palpitating look; she can do no wrong in my eyes. Some may comment on the matchy-matchyness of the look, but I wouldn’t change a single thing.

Sam Claflin: Wedged between two beauties, the handsome actor is still going tieless, opting for a dark double-breasted jacket and navy trousers against his stark white shirt. A red pocket square and brow monk-strap shoes rounded out his less formal, yet still smart, approach to red-carpet dressing.

Jena Malone: After blowing me away at the London premiere, she wows once again wearing a Reem Acra Fall 2013 bugle-beaded long-sleeved gown, which she styled with black nail polish and smoky eyes, with no visible jewels to speak of. Wavy tresses and a glossy lip perfect her sexy, sleek look.

Hopefully both ladies will grace the red carpet alongside Jennifer Lawrence tonight at the Paris premiere before they all head back to California for the LA premiere on Monday.

I will be sad when it comes to an end.

Red was clearly the theme for Jena Malone yesterday as she donned the fiery hue to both ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ world premiere, in Monique Lhuillier, and here again at the photocall in London.

She donned an ASOS ladder-print turtleneck long-sleeved dress with slashed shoulders and arms, which is a further indication as to why the indie actress was attracted to this frock – it has a bad-girl smouldering charm.

Bionda Castana mesh-and-suede ankle boots dialled up the edgy vibe of the look, with a Remembrance Day poppy and a laissez-faire hairdo rounding out her look.

Jena Malone In Monique Lhuillier – ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ World Premiere

Jena Malone In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 London Hunger Games Premiere

Jena Malone showed her fiery side at the UK premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,’ held today at Odeon Leicester Square in London.

Taking the film’s title quite literally, the starlet swept onto the carpet in a flame-hued, silken-fringed Monique Lhuillier Fall 2013 gown that also featured a Baroque-inspired, sheer-effect embossed print.

Understated it was not. But there was an undeniable allure to the dynamic attitude of this hot-red number that also hearkened back to the glamour of old Hollywood.

Naturally, a crimson lip was mandatory on this occasion.

‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ cast headed to the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota on Tuesday.

Jena Malone wore a Vionnet Pre-Fall 2013 navy look consisting of a blouse with a yellow placket and a draped skirt which has somewhat lost its lustre after being crushed while seated.

Orange snakeskin pumps pep up this laidback, I-just-threw-this-on look.

Jena Malone joined Meta Golding on ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Victory Mall Tour at Cherry Hill Mall, New Jersey on Sunday.

The actress, who plays Johanna Mason in the movie, went in a total different direction to her colour co-star opting for all black.

Jena wore a black sheer blouse with a printed front panel styled with a black Andrew Gn Fall 2013 black step hem skirt featuring geometric velvet panels and studded appliqués to give the look an edge.

The skirt is really the stand out piece here.

Someone should’ve told Jena to tuck in her blouse properly before this photo and the shoes are beyond blah.

Makeup wise I love the pink lip and it looks like someone is following in Lily Collins’ footstep with the teenage brow.

Front Row @ Monique Lhuillier Spring 2014

A chic sweep of lovelies were seated front row at the Monique Lhuillier Spring 2014 fashion show yesterday at The Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York City, where they wore all shades and styles of the designer.

Jessica Lowndes: The ‘90210’ starlet stunned in a Spring 2013 strapless cocktail dress that featured an artistic flash of vivid, abstract digital prints. A black RK New York spiked clutch, black strappy sandals and sharp pendant earrings grounded the colourful frock with a touch of hardcore edge.

Emmy Rossum: Gorgeous in green, the actress turned on the sophisticated sizzle in a fit-and-flare lace dress from the Fall 2013 collection. From that enchanting hue to her side-swept ‘do, along with those metallic gold Jimmy Choo accessories, there was much to covet here.

Maggie Grace: The actress’s Pre-Fall 2013 black cocktail dress had a frothy and romantic off-the-shoulder silhouette, further boosted with her loose, blonde waves. Yet the painterly splatters of gold that swept across the black frock delivered an aura of drama and mystery to this look, as did her dagger-shaped necklace.
