Jared Leto In Saint Laurent – 86th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon

Jared Leto In Saint Laurent - 86th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon

Jared Leto attended the 86th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (February 10) in Beverly Hills, California.

The handsome actor wore a mostly black Saint Laurent look featuring a stand-out gold lame jacket.

It looks as if he and his ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ co-star Matthew McConaughey share a love for snazzy jackets. I wonder who inspired whom?
Jared’s styling deserves some extra credit as he added a pink pocket square (quite an usual choice), striped socks and black crystal Louis Leeman loafers.

Was the touch of pink pushing things too far?

29th Santa Barbara International Film Festival Menswear Roundup

29th Santa Barbara International Film Festival Menswear Roundup

Michael B. Jordan and Jared Leto joined Brie Larson at the 29th Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where they were honoured with the Virtuosos Award at an event held at the Arlington Theatre on Tuesday (February 4) in Santa Barbara, California.

Michael B. Jordan: Embracing a more colourful stance when it comes to red carpet dressing, the actor donned a vivid-blue Vivienne Westwood Man suit styled with a brown shirt, black tie, black Christian Louboutin flats and his Piaget timepiece. The brown shirt took a while to grow on me, but overall this is yet another standout look from the dapper actor, who continues to keep menswear varied and interesting; however, I have a feeling it might not be all too well received by some.

Jared Leto: The actor couldn’t be more opposite, wearing a laidback all-black look consisting of leather pants, a black overcoat, black shirt and Zadig & Voltaire ‘Joe’ boots.

Do you prefer Michael’s spritely approach, or Jared’s cool all-black chilled look?

‘Dallas Buyers Club’ London Premiere Menswear Roundup

'Dallas Buyers Club' London Premiere Menswear Roundup

Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto attended the ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ London premiere held at the Curzon Mayfair on Wednesday (January 29).

Matthew McConaughey: The actor wore a three-piece suit which continues his love affair with patterned suits and all things Dolce & Gabbana. The grey suit was given a super-slick finish, with a black shirt and tie and patent-leather derbies rounding out his look, which would’ve been perfect had the pants been an inch or two shorter.

Jared Leto: Having worn a lot of slick suits during awards season, Jared returned to the rocker-chic style we know and love. Donning a shawl-collar blazer and patterned shirt with leather pants, it’s both the hat and Nicholas Kirkwood black-and-white chevron-printed slippers worn with purple socks which grab my attention.

2014 SAG Awards Menswear Roundup

SAG Awards mens 1A host of stars came out to celebrate their peers at the 2014 SAG Awards, held last night (January 18) at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. Here, a roundup of the menswear looks we saw taking to the red carpet.

Jared Leto: The ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ star and outstanding supporting actor winner was ever so handsomely dressed up in a black Dior Homme narrow peak lapel suit, worn with a white cotton wing-tip shirt, a white cotton bow tie, and black patent-leather derbies. While his look was more refined than rocker, the white bow tie and those long ombre locks were the quirky notes that we can always expect with Jared.

Bradley Cooper: Looking unbelievably suave, the ‘American Hustle’ actor donned a black Gucci two-button, velvet notch-lapel ‘Marseille’ tuxedo with a white evening shirt, black bow tie, and black leather lace-up shoes. David Yurman cufflinks and shirt studs completed the formal effect.

2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Menswear Roundup

2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards Menswear RoundupThe men put their sartorial stamp on the 19th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, hosted on Thursday night (January 16) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Here, a look at the handsome highlights.

Bradley Cooper: The Best Supporting Actor nominee, who also made it onstage to accept the trophy for Best Acting Ensemble in ‘American Hustle,’ combined the best of both worlds—comfort and class—in his Bottega Veneta ‘Quetsche’ flannel plum suit and baby-blue button-up shirt. He looked effortlessly fine in this tie-less entrance, and the subtle yet striking shade couldn’t have been more compelling.

James Marsden
: I could barely believe my eyes when I saw ‘The Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ actor on the red carpet in an Ovadia & Sons grey plaid suit, paired with a dark navy tie and tan Givenchy lace-up shoes. It was bold move, but he still wore it well. Do you agree?

Jeremy Renner
: Forgetting the more informal trappings of his co-star Bradley, the ‘American Hustle’ actor dressed up in an Ermenegildo Zegna one-button, black tuxedo with tonal satin notch lapel tuxedo, along with a white shirt, black bow tie and black shoes.

Jared Leto In Balmain Homme – 39th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards

Jared Leto In Balmain Homme - 39th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association AwardsBefore picking up his Best Supporting Actor trophy at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards, Jared Leto attended the 39th annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California on Saturday (January 11).

Like fellow attendees Adèle Exarchopoulos and Lupita Nyong’o, the ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ star took a monochromatic style stand. He posed in a Balmain Homme black-and-white tuxedo jacket and black trousers, worn with perfectly matched Jimmy Choo ‘Gentry’ lace-up shoes.

It was a striking, and still quirky, statement from Jared, who we can always count on to bring a bit of edgy flavour to his fashion.

He did quell the rocker-boy boldness a bit by choosing to slick his long locks back into a ponytail. Of course, the slightly unkempt beard was alive and kicking.
