January Jones In Mary Katrantzou – ‘La Revolution Bleue’ Special Screening

January Jones attended the ‘La Revolution Bleue’ Special Screening at the Paris Theatre in New York City last night.

Following Scarlett Johansson, the actress wore a Mary Katrantzou Fall 2012 dress.

Her digitally engineered printed off-the-shoulder cocktail dress with a peplum detail at the waist is a gorgeous masterpiece, but January is not selling it to me – quelle surprise.

She looks totally overwhelmed by the nature of the fashion-forward look.

If you click on the image above and view all the pictures from this event, in every picture her hand is placed in front of her like she’s just not confident enough to rock this look.

Picture Blake Lively in this look. Golden locks flowing, hand on the hip to show off the peplum detail and head slightly tilted to the left. It would’ve worked, no?

January Jones In YSL – Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere Of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’

January Jones joined a host of stars on the red carpet for the Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of Jules Massenet’s ‘Manon’ in New York City last night.

We struggled to get on board with January’s recent red-carpet choices, but on this occasion she picked a great look.

Whilst this YSL Fall 2012 dress may not be that exciting at the front, the party is most definitely at the back as the dress reveals a thigh-high split and an open back.

Pre Angelina Jolie’s leg, I think January would’ve made more of the split from the front, but we live in a ‘post Angelina Jolie’s leg’ world where one is ridiculed for appearing to try too hard.

As January’s drape-neck dress has a light embellished detail going across it, she kept her jewels to a minimum by just adding studded diamond earrings.

Retro loose waves, a coral lip colour and a purple eyeshadow completed her look.

January Jones In Isabel Marant – Greenwich Hotel

January Jones was also spotted leaving the Greenwich Hotel in New York City yesterday afternoon to promote ‘Mad Men’ Season 5 with her co-star Christina Hendricks.

Whilst Christina opted for a floaty maxi dress, January opted for chic separates.

I would’ve expected Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Bosworth or Miranda Kerr to wear the first look from the Isabel Marant Fall 2012 collection, but January is blessed with that title this season.

She wore a loose-fitted maroon Isabel Marant long-sleeve top with star-studded details which she paired with cropped dark-wash jeans.

Navy pumps and sunglasses provided the finishing touches alongside her Prada Spring 2012 tote, which she hasn’t been seen without since she first got it a few weeks ago.

January Jones In Jason Wu – New York Stock Exchange

January Jones and her fellow ‘Mad Men’ cast mates visited the New York Stock Exchange to ring the bell on Wednesday in New York City.

The actress wore a Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Her black-and-white printed trompe l’oiel dress with long sleeves and an asymmetric hemline was teamed with a black leather waist-cinching belt and black Jimmy Choo ‘Vamp’ criss-cross platform sandals.

Wavy hair and a red lip shade completed the look.

Jon Hamm (in Joseph Abboud) and John Slattery both opted for grey suits, whilst Christina Hendricks looked chic in black and white and young Kiernan Shipka was totes adorable in a dark grey dress.

January Jones In Roland Mouret – The ‘Today’ Show

January Jones was up bright and early in New York City on Tuesday morning for a taping of The ‘Today’ Show’.

The ‘Mad Men’ actress was on the promotional trail of the upcoming fifth season wearing a form-fitting Roland Mouret Spring 2012 arctic-blue skirt.

Cool black accessories, including a tough biker jacket and simple black pumps, balance the vibrant colour of the skirt.

January nods to ‘Mad Men’ classic ‘60’s style with her two-toned Prada Spring 2012 bag.

When a bag is that chic, it belongs in any decade.

January Jones In Roland Mouret – ‘Mad Men’ Season 5 Premiere

January Jones joined Jon Hamm on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Mad Men’ Season 5 at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California, last night.

My first reaction to January in this Roland Mouret dress was, ‘What happened to her red carpet mojo?’

I don’t blame the look; it’s January who fails to breathe any life into it.

Imagine this look on Amber Heard or even Carey Mulligan, then look at Karlie Kloss, then come back to January.

Lifeless.

Even with the cute retro curls and the glossy lips, she’s not selling this look to me.

Cartier earrings completed her look.
