Get The Look: January Jones’ Clean Modern ‘The Last Man On Earth’ Premiere Hair

"The Last Man On Earth" Los Angeles PremiereCelebrity hairstylist Bridget Brager worked with January Jones for the premiere of ‘The Last Man On Earth’ on Tuesday (February 24).

“Our inspiration was clean, modern, soft structure,” said Bridget.

Here’s how to get the look.

She prepped January’s air dried hair using Phtyo Volumizing Spray at the roots, on the top, and on the sides of her head.

Using her Bumble and bumble Boar Bristle Flat Brush and her Harry Josh Blow Dryer, she smoothed out her hairline and added a bit of volume to her hair.

Next she created a deep side part and also parted her hair from just behind the ear to meet the deep side part at the crown of her head. She clipped the top left and side section away. She then gathered the rest of her hair into a sleek bun just below the crown of her head using Oscar Blandi Pronto Instant Glossing Cream to smooth out flyaways and give a clean sleek look. Using hair pins to hold the bun in place.

With the remaining hair, she created pin curls by setting 3/4 inch sections of hair with a 3/4 inch curling iron. Once the set hair was cool, she brushed the hair down and toward her face and created a deep smooth wave effect.

To finish using Oribe Superfine Hairspray once all over.

January Jones In Mary Katrantzou – ‘The Last Man On Earth’ LA Premiere

January Jones In Mary Katrantzou - 'The Last Man On Earth' LA Premiere

January Jones attended the LA premiere of ‘The Last Man On Earth’ held at Big Daddy’s Antique Shop on Tuesday (February 24) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Mary Katrantzou Pre-Fall 2015 dual-colour dress that is graphically cool but, between the length and the apparent heaviness of the dress, I was unable to get on board with this look.

On the plus side the hair and makeup added some vitality to the look.

January Jones attended the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (February 17) in Beverly Hills, California.

Continuing to roll with sharply tailored pieces following her recent Sandro suit, I love this all-in-one Roland Mouret Pre-Fall 2015 jumpsuit for its bold scarlet hue and sleek touch via the asymmetrical neckline.

A slicked-back hairstyle instead of the girlie curls would have perfected the look for me, along with sexy sandals instead of the pointy pumps, but the flame-red lip lets me forgive and forget – temporarily.

January Jones attended the 67th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday (February 7) in Century City, California.

I can’t remember the last time I saw January in a suit, so this I will class as a fresh and new look for the ‘Mad Men’ actress.

I love how her navy Sandro suit was stripped of its manhood by a sexy chiffon bodysuit with plunge which stopped at the navel.

Styled with black Miu Miu pumps, the look comes complete with retro waves and an orange pout.

FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party Red Carpet Roundup

FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party Red Carpet Roundup

Here’s a roundup of the looks from the FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party at the Langham Hotel on Saturday (January 17) in Pasadena, California, which was also attended by Becki Newton and Jennifer Lopez.

January Jones: The ‘Mad Men’ actress opted to complement her strappy dual-colour sandals with her stripy Herve Leger flounced-hem dress. While the coat gives this look a sophisticated stance, I am still curious to see this without the outerwear.

Mindy Kaling: I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Mindy’s new ombre do, but I love the shimmer and shine reflecting off her gold metallic Smythe blazer, which she styled with a striped The Kooples shirt and Zero + Maria Cornejo ‘Tabi’ tapered trousers. Jerome C. Rousseau Gilliam pumps and a Kotur clutch accessorized her look.

Keri Russell: The actress stuck to her favoured colour, black, donning a jumpsuit featuring a deep sexy plunge. Breaking up the dark hue, she styled her look with a pair of white and black Louboutins, which create a stark contrast, but not an effective one in my eyes.
