Here is a round up of the looks from the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France on Thursday evening.

Janet Jackson: The singer has had many memorable moments at this event, sadly this will not be one of them. Her Armani Privé ensemble is simple and chic, however it is not on par with her Haider Ackermann look from the 2011 event. She styled her look with white ribbon Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a Paolobongia ring.

Bonnie Wright: Those who remember Bonnie from last year’s event will know that this is much improved. The actress opted for a simple very elegant black Prada dress with a v-neckline which she styled with a gold Prada clutch and opulent earrings.

Aishwarya Rai: The Indian beauty wore traditional look on this occasion selecting a gold Tarun Tahiliani sari which was elegantly wrapped over a gold blouse and styled with gold accessories. Is that too much gold for you?

During Cannes Film Festival, Janet Jackson attended the 2012 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS wearing a custom-made Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 gown.

The singer’s white halter gown with a beaded neckline, keyhole opening and central slit was styled with black Giuseppe Zanotti wedges and a silver link bracelet.

Olga wore the runway version of the same dress with a beaded turtleneck and a keyhole opening to the navel.

Even with Olga’s simple accessories, including a black box clutch and black pumps, the overall fit and look was much preferred to Janet’s efforts.

Janet Jackson joined a number of celebrities in Cap D’Antibes, France this evening for amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala 2012.

The legendary singer flashed some skin in a white Emilio Pucci halter dress with a deep keyhole detail with a beaded neckline and major a central split.

While the look may be on the revealing side, I do love the simplicity of the stark white gown. My only complaint is that for a custom gown the top half is looking a tad lumpy.

Metallic t-strap heels and a Pomellato ‘Tango’ 18K rose gold white diamond bracelet simply accessorized the look.

A teased hairdo and smoky eyes helped to show off that gorgeous smile.

Janet Jackson attended the Marco Glaviano ‘Supermodels’ exhibition opening at the Keszler Gallery in New York City yesterday.

It’s been a long while since we last saw Janet on a red carpet, and it’s shocking how she appears to be getting younger.

The singer appears to have paid homage to her late brother Michael Jackson whilst wearing this Alexander McQueen Resort 2012 jacket.

Her black jacket with gold embroidery is reminiscent of the jacket MJ wore in the music video for ‘We Are The World’.

Black faded jeans and suede ankle boots completed her look.

Janet Jackson was the guest of honour at the Life Ball 2011, which was held in Vienna, Austria last night.

The singer wore a Marchesa gown from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her ebony duchess satin hand draped asymmetrical gown with a velvet flare skirt appears to nip her in at the waist without the aid of a waistband.

Janet accessorized with a black cuff.

Some dazzling jewels or an onyx embellished clutch were needed to add some sparkle to this look.

Previously, Janet Jackson has failed to pull off Haider Ackermann, but tonight at the 2011 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala she gets a pass.

The singer’s Haider Ackermann ensemble incorporates the teal and purple colours from the Fall 2011 collection.

I’m glad she didn’t opt for anything too complicated because she’s doesn’t always carry them so well with her petite frame.

Her colour-block look is accented with a blue ribbon around the waist.

Do you think she got is right on this occasion?
