Jane Fonda In Elie Saab – Santa Barbara International Film Festival & The Rape Foundation’s Annual Brunch

Jane Fonda In Elie Saab - Santa Barbara International Film Festival & The Rape Foundation's Annual Brunch

Jane Fonda attended the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday (October 3), where she was honoured with the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film, before attending the Rape Foundation’s annual brunch on Sunday (October 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

On both occasions she wore Elie Saab jumpsuits.

Santa Barbara International Film Festival: This jumpsuit was a flawless red carpet choice. The buckled belt enhances the waist, while the tailored trousers create a streamlined silhouette for an elegant finish. I could’ve done without the sash, but it doesn’t bring down the look in anyway.

Rape Foundation’s Brunch: Proving once again that Elie Saab’s red carpet elegance is not limited to gowns, the actress stunned wearing a blush long sleeve jumpsuit with beaded bodice from the Resort 2016 collection. Styled with shades and L.K. Bennett shoes, I’m glad she opted not to wear this look with the feather bolero.

The second look is my favourite. Which one do you prefer?

2015 Toronto Film Festival Weekend Roundup

The 2015 Toronto International Film Festival red carpet was filled with even more stars this past weekend. Here, a look at the beauties making the rounds at the premieres.

Toni Colette: The actress brought her own sunshine in tow at the ‘Miss You Already’ premiere, where she swept onto the scene in an Oscar de la Renta white shell top and a bustling marigold-yellow skirt hailing from the Resort 2016 collection. I wanted to take a steamer to the skirt and strip that gold cuff away from the look, which was completed with an Edie Parker pearlescent clutch.

Saoirse Ronan: I didn’t find this Chanel Resort 2015 speckled sweater and white trouser combo all that flattering nor all that appropriate as her ‘Brooklyn’ premiere outfit. She finished the casual look with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Jane Fonda: While Saoirse may have seemed underdressed, that same sentiment cannot be said for Jane who pulled out all the stops in a Yves Saint Laurent Couture by Hedi Slimane gold gown styled with an equally golden YSL clutch at the ‘Youth’ premiere. She definitely had the Midas fever.

Who Wore Balmain Better…Jane Fonda or Abbey Lee?

Who Wore Balmain Better Jane Fonda or Abbey Lee

Jane Fonda pretty much shut down the red carpet while attending the 2015 Grammy Awards wearing a Balmain jumpsuit, before Abbey Lee wore the red version to the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ LA premiere.

Abbey should win this; being the model here, right?

Wrong. The model absolutely lacks conviction, Jane totally owned the look with the fringed choker only adding to the overall drama which was perfect for the Grammys.

This was an easy win for the actress.

Jane Fonda In Schiaparelli Couture – ‘Youth’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Jane Fonda In Schiaparelli Couture - 'Youth' Cannes Film Festival Premier

Jane Fonda attended the premiere of ‘Youth’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 20) in Cannes, France.

The actress wore a Schiaparelli Couture gown for the occasion.

Schiaparelli’s designs can be a little bit out there, but I found myself totally perplexed by this offering.

From the neck up Jane is serving up glamour, but from the neck down I’m wondering if Halloween came early or she raided Morticia Addams’ closet.

The look feels too sombre for Cannes, and far too theatrical. The only place I see this working is at the Met Gala.

Cartier jewels, a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and Roger Vivier shoes completed the look.

Jane Fonda In Atelier Versace – ‘The Sea Of Trees’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Jane Fonda In Atelier Versace - 'The Sea Of Trees' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Jane Fonda attended the premiere of ‘The Sea of Trees’ at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 16) in Cannes, France.

Flaunting her age-defying figure in top form, the actress wore one of my favourite colours in this electric-blue Atelier Versace Spring 2015 design.

She will always wow in her power gowns, but something about this one translated as a bit dated on her with the embellished cutouts and long diamond earrings.

If the body-curving cutout had remained as presented on the runway, the problem would have likely been resolved.

Jane Fonda In Donna Karan – 2015 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Jane Fonda In Donna Karan - 2015 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

Jane Fonda struck a fierce pose at the 2015 White House Corespondents’ Association Dinner last night (April 25) at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC.

A long-sleeved, sequined black Donna Karan gown boasting a high turtleneck-line of contrasting fabric offers a striking and unique editorial moment for Jane. Typically, when one thinks of a black gown that covers someone this completely, it would be much too matronly and boring, but this dress is anything but with its sparkle and striking lines.

I am never ceased to be amazed by Jane on the red carpet. As a reminder, the icon is 77 years old, and she has more poise and style in her pinkie finger than many women half her age possess from head-to-toe.

Coral cheeks and lips and smudgey navy eyeshadow are fresh and flawless and help Jane own this moment so completely.

As you loving Jane’s look as much as I?
