2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

Vanity Fair Party

Here is an quick roundup from the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which took place on Sunday (February 22).

Jane Fonda: The actress shows us that Zuhair Murad doesn’t always spell tacky. This Spring 2015 Couture jumpsuit is divine and she is working it like no other. Kudos to her. Jimmy Choo ‘Creole’ pumps and a Rauwolf clutch accessorized her look.

Regina King: This Nicolas Jebran gown won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I love the artful colours on this design. I don’t, however, like the illusion neckline. Not close enough to her skin tone.

Leslie Mann: Like Naomi Watts, Leslie went the white suiting route, layering up with a selection of gold Neil Lane jewels the look probably didn’t really require so much of.

Jane Fonda In Balmain – 2015 Grammy Awards

Jane Fonda In Balmain - 2015 Grammy Awards

Jane Fonda attended the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 8) held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Putting girls more than half her age to shame, the actress wore a Balmain Pre-Fall 2015 green and black striped jumpsuit styled with gold fringe Balmain neckline which was tucked in on the look book image.

While I prefer the look book presentation, I am sure the reason Jane didn’t tuck in her necklace was because she didn’t want the fringes grazing her nether regions all night.

Gold Jimmy Choo pumps, Vhernier jewels and Paula Cademartori ‘Cocca’ Clutch rounded out her never-aging look.

Jane Fonda In Versace – 2015 Golden Globe Awards

Jane Fonda In Versace - 2015 Golden Globe Awards

Jane Fonda attended the 2015 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, California.

The megawatt star donned a sexy red Versace dress from the brand’s recent Pre-Fall collection.

While Jane would look amazing in anything, this outfit is a little reminiscent of the Ice Capades. There’s something about the embellished sleeve and side peek-a-boo that screams costume. Instead, I would’ve loved to see Jane in the dress’s original form: bare sleeve and maybe even with the up-to-there slit.

But, in true Jane fashion, the actress’s hair is perfectly coiffed and she is spotting some serious accessories. If you’re not hypnotized by her Bulgari earrings, you’re in the midst of figuring out how you can snag her Rauwolf clutch.

Variety’s 2014 Power Of Women Event Red Carpet Roundup

Variety's 2014 Power Of Women Event Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a brief rundown of the rest of the attendees of Variety’s 2014 Power Of Women event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Friday (October 10) in Beverly Hills, California.

Viola Davis: Like Lizzy Caplan, the ‘The Help’ actress, who was honoured at the event for her work with ‘Hunger Is’, wore a mint-green dress. However, the styling of her Escada dress with an origami-pleated neckline was less desirable, with black platform pumps. Jacob & Co earrings completed her look.

Jane Fonda: Also honoured for her work for the ‘Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential’, the actress was looking as regal as ever, still keeping up her run of all things trousered wearing a black open-neck jumpsuit.

Eva Longoria: Prior to hosting the ALMA Awards, the actress took to the red carpet at this event wearing a Cushnie et Ochs rich plum fitted dress with no cut outs, styled with Brian Atwood nude pumps and a satin Louboutin clutch in the same hue.

Jane Fonda In Elie Saab – The Rape Foundation’s Annual Brunch

Jane Fonda In Elie Saab - The Rape Foundation's Annual Brunch

Jane Fonda showed her support for The Rape Foundation’s Annual Brunch held at Greenacres, the private estate of Ron Burkle, on Sunday (September 28) in Beverly Hills, California in very fine fashion.

The actress, who’s continuing her love for a trouser look, once again puts women half her age to shame with her impeccable style.

While she tends to favour Versace, I think Elie Saab continues to be a better fit, oozing glamour and sophistication without much effort in this dusty-pink peplum top and flared trousers from the Fall 2014 collection; this couldn’t have been a more perfect look for Jane.

Styled with a beaded necklace, complementary shoes and rose-tinted glasses, she completed her look with a Jimmy Choo clutch.

L’Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Pure Reds Campaign

L'Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Pure Reds campaign

Blake Lively, Zoe Saldana, Jane Fonda, Laetitia Casta, Julianne Moore, Liya Kebede, Freida Pinto, Eva Longoria, Natasha Poly and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan star in the latest L’Oreal Paris Collection Exclusive Pure Reds campaign, which was shot by Norman Jean Roy.

Each of the ambassadors are dressed in white (Zoe and Liya in Elie Saab Spring 2014) with a bold red lip, but the twist is they are not all wearing the same shade.

The red lip shades were inspired by their skin tones and even their hair colour to create the perfect match.

L’Oreal is hoping to diminish the fear of choosing such a bold lip colour with the new collection.

L’Oreal make-up artist Lynsey Alexander said, “The correct red should leave you feeling empowered, confident, and sexy all at once whilst ultimately being something you choose to wear and not something that wears you. There is most definitely a perfect red for everyone and if you apply one tone and feel conscious and aware of it then it’s not the one for you.”

All of our favourite L’Oreal girls appear in the ad, with the exception of new girl Kirsten Dunst, Cheryl Cole and Sonam Kapoor.

A few of the shades are below. I’m having a strong pull towards Laetitia’s deep rouge.
