Jane Fonda In Atelier Versace – ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Earlier today, I put together my wish list for Cannes Film Festival.

On day one, at the opening ceremony and ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ premiere this evening, a 74-year-old beauty made my dream come true.

Jane Fonda donned the Atelier Versace Fall 2011 gown I have been dying to see on the red carpet since it was presented last year.

Her intricately woven bronze metal gown with a delicately pleated hem and train was slightly modified with the addition of an illusion yoke and sleeves, but takes nothing away from the beauty of the gown.

She completed her look with a metallic Versace clutch, Chopard jewels and peep-toe heels.

The fashion gods are really smiling on me. First Florence Welch in Alexander McQueen, now this.

She glowed wearing a fuchsia pink Louis Vuitton strapless ruffled bustier gown. I love that she opted for a more natural look again, as this is when her beauty really shines through. LV L’Ame du Voyage collection jewels and a LV minaudiere completed her look.

Jane Fonda: The actress looked stunning wearing a Roberto Cavalli long sleeve beaded gown. I just love her emerald Chopard earrings which are the perfect complement to her look.

Charlene Wittstock: The blonde beauty arrived with her fiancé Prince Albert of Monaco wearing a Giorgio Armani Privé dove grey gown. Her multi-layered off-the-shoulder gown was embellished with crystals around the empire waist.

Jane Fonda In Marios Schwab – Cinema for Peace Charity Dinner

Tonight Jane Fonda hit the red carpet again for the Cinema for Peace Charity Dinner held during Cannes Film Festival.

She opted to wear a Marios Schwab lace panel long sleeve dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Black t-bar sandals, Chopard jewels and a black bag completed her 73 years young look.

Who Wore Emilio Pucci Better? Ciara or Jane Fonda

Ciara attended the Black Eyed Peas’ 7th Annual Peapod Benefit Concert back in February wearing this über-sexy Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 dress.

The coffee-coloured dress features incredibly revealing cut-outs around the midsection and chest, showing off Ciara’s amazingly-toned body.

It’s definitely not an easy dress to pull off and dangerously walks the line of being distasteful, but I think she just manages to make it work. Having a body like hers definitely helps.

A pair of hooped earrings, flawless makeup and sexy curls finished her look.

Jane Fonda took to the red carpet at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival this past week for the “Sleeping Beauty” Premiere wearing an age appropriate custom-made version of the same dress.

The actress looked radiant in all white, with the revealing cut-outs filled in with silver and white embellished panels.

Jane teamed the dress with stunning Chopard jewellery, a mini gold clutch and peep-toe heels.

For a woman of 73 years old to look this good on the red carpet is no easy feat and Jane makes it look effortless. She is just as stunning as the younger stars who have taken to the red carpet at Cannes, if not more.

My vote is going to Jane on this occasion. Ciara undoubtedly looks amazing but I prefer the dress with the filled in panels. It’s a tasteful way of doing sexy but still remaining elegant.
