Jane Fonda In Balmain – 2018 Oscars

Jane Fonda was one of many stars who made their way down the red carpet of the 2018 Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 4).

The living legend wore a custom Balmain gown with Ferragamo shoes and Chopard jewels.

As usual, Jane is resplendent. She does structure unlike anyone else, and this entire look is the definition of fierce.

Honestly, the only other thing to say here is, ‘Can I please be this amazing when I’m 80?’

Jane Fonda In Elie Saab – 2017 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Jane Fonda was also in the mix at the 2017 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 4) in LA, joining Kim Kardashian West and Annabelle Wallis.

Showcasing her beautiful shoulders—and her ageless style—she donned an Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2017 cold-shoulder dress that celebrated the dramatic allure of black lace balanced by tapestry piping.

Chopard jewels contributed another layer of elegant sparkle without competing with the embellishment of the dress.

A Christian Louboutin bag and Salvatore Ferragamo pumps completed the look.

Jane Fonda In Christian Dior Couture – ‘Our Souls At Night’ New York Premiere

Jane Fonda attended the New York premiere of ‘Our Souls At Night’ held at The Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday (September 27).

If you go through Jane’s red carpet looks, two thing always stands out – colour and drama.

So even though I do like her in this Dior Fall 2017 Couture organza blouse and pleat skirt, I know the love would’ve been far greater if not for the anthracite grey hue.

Jane did breathe plenty of life into the look with ruby red accessories including Irene Neuwirth jewels, velvet Christian Louboutin clutch and Dior suede and rhinestone sandals.

Are you missing both colour and drama from this look?

Jane Fonda In Sophie Theallet & Elie Saab – The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Jane Fonda paid a visit to ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Tuesday (September 26) to discuss her upcoming film ‘Our Souls at Night’ and her recent appearance at the Emmy Awards.

The actress, who is about to celebrate her 80th birthday, looked decades younger than her years. However, her patterned ensemble still exuded sophistication.

Clad in a Sophie Theallet blouse and Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2017 trousers, the dark colour palette and floral print were chic and on trend for autumn.

Some might cite the oversized Vhernier studs as dated, but I found they suited the feel of her separates. Similarly, they worked with the chic bob she was sporting—which was quite a departure from her long ponytail at the Emmys.

At a different event, I would love to see the legendary actress sport the wispy turquoise jacket from the runway look.

Jane Fonda In Brandon Maxwell – 2017 Emmy Awards

I’m sure I won’t be the only one who found Jane Fonda to be nearly unrecognizable at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in LA.

We generally sing the praises of the iconic actress for her ability to so seamlessly rock gracefully mature and appropriate looks that compromise nothing in the way of style.

But, that wasn’t exactly the case at the Emmys.

Opting for a hot-pink Brandon Maxwell Spring 2018 gown that showed off her streamlined figure, she walked on a far more flirtatious side, with the emerald Gismondi 1754 earrings and reverse necklace adding even more extravagance.

In addition to the Barbie pink hue, it was really the Barbie blonde bangs and ponytail that made the look uncharacteristically try-hard and youth-seeking for the traditionally sophisticated actress.

Jimmy Choo metallic-silver pumps and a Tyler Ellis clutch completed the surprising look.

What do you make of it?
