ShoeMint 1 Year Anniversary Brunch

Rachel Bilson and stylist Nicole Chavez hosted an intimate brunch at Laurel Hardware in West Hollywood to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of ShoeMint.

Guests included Lauren Conrad and Rachel’s ‘Hart of Dixie’ co-star, Jaime King.

Lauren Conrad: The former ‘The Hills’ star was predictable as ever, wearing a lace fit-and-flare mini dress with nude pumps. Whilst it’s a very familiar one-note look, she does look uber cute as always.

Jaime King: The actress wore a look by one of her favourite designers – Jason Wu. A black printed blouse with a leather collar and placket was styled with a black leather skirt and sexy black sandals.

Rachel Bilson: The petite star wore an A.L.C. ikat printed black-collar dress. Her flowing nutmeg-and-navy dress was styled with a simple black Vanessa Bruno blazer and I’m sure she’s wearing some ShoeMint heels too.

Jaime King In Oscar de la Renta – 2012 GQ Men of the Year Party

Jaime King attended the 2012 GQ Men of the Year party, held at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night.

The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress wore an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 frock.

The long-sleeve dress, with intricate black guipure lace bodice enriched with black sequins, features a tulle and organza skirt accented with a cobalt-blue belt.

Usually I’m a huge fan of Jaime’s style, but this dress doesn’t work for her: between the high neckline, the fussy skirt, and ghostly makeup Jaime is not shining through.

Jaime accessorized her look with black lace pumps and a satin black clutch, with smoky eyes, a centre-parted low bun, onyx earrings and a pink lip colour providing the finishing touches.

Jaime King In Giambattista Valli – CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event

Jaime King posed alongside Bella Heathcote at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event held at the Chateau Marmont in LA, California, yesterday evening.

The actress combined her two loves – colour and print – in this Giambattista Valli Resort 2013 dress.

Her white sleeveless dress with a red paisley print and a peplum waist was styled with a croc Valentino tan clutch, matching braided sandals and a gold cuff.

Red lips might be an obvious choice, but clearly it was the best choice.

Jaime King In Christian Dior – Rachel Zoe’s ‘Major Must Haves’ Range Launch

Jaime King celebrated the launch of Rachel Zoe’s ‘Major Must Haves’ range with Jockey at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California last night.

The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress wore a Christian Dior Fall 2012 ensemble consisting of an eggplant long-sleeve top with a textured calf-length purple skirt with sheer panels.

Interestingly she styled the look with the same statement necklace we saw on the runway.

A gold clutch and brown Dior shoes from the same collection provided the finishing touches.

What was she thinking when she decided tie her Dior pumps this ‘ballerina-esqe’ way? It’s a small detail, but it brings down the whole look for me.

In fact that clutch doesn’t work for me either.

You may remember that Lea Seydoux wore the same dress back in March.

Jaime King In Calvin Klein – Elle’s 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Jaime King sported two looks on the red carpet for Elle’s 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday evening.

She arrived wearing an ivory Calvin Klein wool coat with satin lapels from the Spring 2012 collection, before removing it to reveal a chic white sheath dress.

The dress has a sexy open back which she coyly showed off to the photographers.

Python off-white sandals and a gold box clutch, both by Calvin Klein, accessorized her look while kohl-rimmed eyes, a centre-parted ponytail and a pretty pink lip colour completed her look.

Jaime King In Jason Wu – Van Cleef & Arpels Dinner for LA Dance Project

Jaime King joined Natalie Portman on the red carpet at the Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall for the Van Cleef & Arpels’ opening night party to celebrate the world premiere of L.A. Dance Project in LA on Saturday evening.

The actress was, not surprisingly, wearing head-to-toe Jason Wu; her go-to designer.

She looked beautiful wearing a look from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

The sheer black chiffon halterneck gown featuring a nude lace underlay also has a satin trimmed double ruffled peplum.

A Stark black-and-gold ‘Seductress’ crystal-embellished clutch, sparkling Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and Jason Wu black sandals accessorized her look.

A very chic centre-parted bun and pink glossy lip provided the finishing touches.
