‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro’ World Premiere Menswear Roundup

Andrew Garfield In Alexander McQueen & Jamie Foxx In Ozwald Boateng - ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Rise of Electro’ World PremiereThe luminously clad Emma Stone was in handsome company at the world premiere of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro,’ hosted this evening (April 10) at Odeon Leicester Square in London, England.

Andrew Garfield: Kicking his casualwear to the curb, the actor dressed to impress in an Alexander McQueen single-breasted, one-button black suit. The black-and-white plaid tie, white button-down shirt and black loafers only enhanced the crisp polish of the impeccably slim-fit look.

Jamie Foxx: Copping an intense bad-boy stare, the funny man relied on his go-to designer, Ozwald Boateng, for this sleek charcoal pinstripe suit, mixed with a dove-grey dress shirt and steely-hued tie. Perfectly tailored, this sartorial statement had plenty of grey area, but the styling was still on point.

Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx – ‘White House Down’ Promo Tour

White House Down 1

Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx have being busy in Europe promoting their latest movie, ‘White House Down’, starting at the Deauville American Film Festival in France, plus last night they were in Germany for the Berlin premiere.

Deauville American Film Festival photocall: The actors both wore jeans, with Channing opting for a simple black shirt and charcoal blazer and Jamie adding a patterned Givenchy shirt.

Deauville American Film Festival premiere: For the premiere the guys suited up, with Channing looking devilishly handsome in an ink-blue suit and striped tie, and Jamie looking equally debonair in midnight-blue, black combo.

Berlin premiere: While I like that Jamie switched things up at the Berlin premiere wearing a dark-chocolate blazer and grey pants, the overall look feels a size too big. I prefer the fit of the previous premiere. Channing had no such problems in his sleek black Dolce & Gabbana suit with a polka-dot tie.

Who was the better dressed? Channing, as I preferred both his premiere looks.

‘White House Down’ New York Premiere Round Up

'White House Down' New York Premiere Round Up

Here is a look at some more folks who joined Maggie Gyllenhaal on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theater for the ‘White House Down’ New York premiere yesterday evening.

Jamie Foxx: The actor opted for another grey suit, this time adding some flair to his look with an ice-blue silk shirt and contrasting dark-blue tie.

Channing Tatum: The actor was looking equally handsome, wearing a windowpane-check Gucci charcoal-grey suit with a white dress shirt and taupe satin tie.

Garcelle Beauvais: The actress finally joined her co-stars of the movie, going for a grander look than Maggie wearing a Memeka by Gustavo Cadile white silk-satin strapless gown with blue embroidered flowers at the hem. While I love that she accessorized with cobalt-blue statement earrings, I dislike the purple lip colour.

Joey King: The teen star looked totally adorable wearing a fairytale off-the-shoulder white tiered PAVONI by Mikael D. dress with gold embroidery which she styled with sparkling gold brogues.

Jamie Foxx: Working a shiny grey suit, the actor, who is so cool he had to don shades on the red carpet, styled his suit with a white dress shirt, grey tie and grey Chelsea boots.

2013 MTV Movie Awards Menswear Round Up

MTV Mens

We’ve seen Eddie Redmayne, so here are some more dudes who attended the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in LA on Sunday.

Macklemore: The rapper, who performed at this event, stood out on this red carpet. Not just because he opted for an electric-blue slim-fit suit: more likely, he stood out for the OTT gold fringed Logan Neitzel matador-style cape he wore it with. Without the cape this was a BDOTW contender.

Jamie Foxx: Picking up the ‘Best WTF Moment’ award for ‘Candieland Gets Smoked’ in ‘Django Unchained’ and the highest honour, the ‘MTV Generation’ award, Jamie made a touching tribute by honouring the memory of Trayvon Martin with a t-shirt bearing his face with the words “Know Justice, Know Peace”.

Jamie Foxx In Ozwald Boateng – ‘Django Unchained’ London Preimere

Jamie Foxx In Ozwald Boateng - 'Django Unchained' London Preimere

The ‘Django Unchained’ red carpets have started the year with truly stellar fashion. Jamie Foxx’s appearance at the movie’s UK premiere at the Empire Leicester Square in London, added another feather in this film’s plume.

The handsome actor pulled off a saturated, technicolor ensemble from British designer Ozwald Boateng. The splashy suit was done in an intense peacock blue and worn over a nearly neon turquoise button-down shirt.

A black tie and sleek black loafers kept this vivid and gutsy statement in the cool rather than cooky territory.

Only Jamie could pull this off with such class; this look makes him one of the most memorable males on the red carpet in recent memory.

Jamie Foxx In Calvin Klein – ‘Django Unchained’ Berlin Premiere

Jamie Foxx In Calvin Klein - 'Django Unchained' Berlin Premiere

Jamie Foxx joined the lovely Kerry Washington on the red carpet yesterday evening for the ‘Django Unchained’ Berlin premiere at CineStar Potsdamer Platz in Germany.

Looking as cool as a cucumber, the actor wore a Calvin Klein Fall 2012 suit.

Switching gears from the dark suit, white shirt and tie combo, Jamie wore a black turtleneck with his charcoal one-button peaked lapel tuxedo with a black satin contrast.

I have to say he pulls this look off really well, but I don’t see this becoming a red carpet trend anytime soon.

Yay or nay on the turtleneck?
