Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Spanning the globe from London, Toronto and Rome, here is a roundup of some of the menswear look hitting the red carpet this week.

Chiwetel Ejiofor: I never watch TV during the day while working, accept during the Wimbledon Championships. I was left in swooning by how handsome Chiwetel Ejiofor looked while taking his seat for the Novak Djokovic v Richard Gasquet semi final match this afternoon. It’s not often we see the Chiwetel in a colour other than black, so this dark brown and blue combo courtesy of Ralph Lauren was a very special treat; possessing all the smoothness and finesse we expect from the British actor.

James Marsden: The actor, who has had some very special red carpet moments in Valentino, attended the Valentino ‘Mirabilia Romae’ Haute Couture show in Rome, Italy yesterday evening. Valentino’s sartorial standards continue to shine in this midnight blue suit decked with vertical pinstripes presenting a crisp, collected appearance.

James Marsden In Dolce & Gabbana & Etro – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & ‘The D Train’ New York Premiere

James Marsden In Dolce & Gabbana & Etro - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & 'The D Train' New York Premiere

James Marsden was easily one of the best dressed guys at the Met Gala on Monday night, and that great form continued throughout the week in New York City where he promoted his latest movie, ‘The D Train’.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: This is, without question, my favourite menswear look of 2015. Looking impeccably well-groomed, James served up modern suavity in his three-piece plum Dolce & Gabbana suit styled with a matching Dolce shoes and an IWC timepiece. I’m sure the colour wins me over ultimately, but one can’t help swooning at the tailoring of this Italian masterpiece.

‘The D Train’ New York Premiere: Flaunting a plaid pattern in blue, black and grey hues, this slim fit Etro Fall 2015 suit has plenty of head-turning sophistication. I love pop of aqua blue courtesy of his socks and his continual fearless approach to red carpet dressing.

James Marsden & Max Irons In Brioni – Brioni Milan Menswear Fashion Week Dinner Party

James Marsden & Max Irons In Brioni - Brioni Milan Menswear Fashion Week Dinner Party

Brioni held a cocktail and dinner party during Milan Menswear Fashion Week Fall 2015 on Monday (January 19) in Milan, Italy.

James Marsden: The handsome actor, who was one of the most consistent stars to hit the red carpet last year, starts 2015 as he left 2014, in great style. Dressing, as ever, like a professional gentleman with deeply charming sartorialism, he brought plenty of sophistication to the proceedings wearing a double-breasted fine-check suit by the Italian label, with a peaked lapel to accentuate a sense of modernity.

Max Irons: The British actor was also in devilishly handsome mode wearing a slick Brioni three-piece suit. This contemporary suiting option with its black-set, slim-fitting blazer and tapered-leg pants creates a streamlined and sleek appearance, which guarantees a debonair look.

Here is a quick look at three very dashing gents who took to the red carpet on Wednesday evening (December 10).

Josh Brolin: Joining a cast of lovely ladies on the red carpet for the ‘Inherent Vice’ LA premiere, the actor didn’t look too shabby himself, suiting up in an Ermenegildo Zegna head-to-toe look in a glorious blue hue.

James Marsden: The only man of note to take to the red carpet at the Valentino New York Sala Bianca 945 event was James Marsden. Decked out in a lush maroon slim-fit suit, the precisely tailored look was sharp with plenty of classic appeal.

David Beckham: Mr Debonair served up a classic tux while attending The Sun Military Awards: A Night Of Heroes. What a lucky so-and-so Mrs Beckham is.

Men 5 december

Here is quick round-up of gents who took to the red carpet yesterday evening (December 4).

James Marsden:
The handsome actor attended the 2014 GQ Men of the Year party held at the at the Chateau Marmont in LA looking sharp wearing a Thom Sweeney navy mohair three-piece suit. Aside from by hypnotized by that rich navy hue, I’m also saluting the mix of burgundy and brown incorporated into this look. There is never a dull moment in menswear when James is around.

Richard Armitage: The actor suited up for the Paris premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies’, held at Le Grand Rex on Thursday (December 4). Opting for the sartorial elegance of Ermenegildo Zegna once again, this time he looked even more dashing in a burgundy shawl-collar suit styled with a grey shirt and brown striped tie.
