Red Carpet Fashion Awards

2013AMA_JaimieAlexander

Jaimie Alexander struck a chic superhero stance at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday night at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Thor’ actress showed us yet another side of her style personality in a stellar Giorgio Armani vintage, black jumpsuit featuring a shiny sequin-encrusted, criss-cross halter bodice.

Completing the appeal of this edgy-mod moment, she wore a pair of long, minimalistic earrings and a cocktail ring, whilst keeping her makeup in the nude tones.

She also debuted a new bang with her high updo, which put some girlishness into the more androgynous glam factor—for better or worse. Hit or miss?

Jaimie Alexander In Pamella Roland - The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Jaimie Alexander made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, where the host of course brought up that dress – it’s going to be her legacy.

The ‘Thor’ actress revealed that she was wearing something under there, but somehow I find that impossible to believe.

Wearing a dress which had a slight superhero feel to it, with the silver geometric macro beading, the actress wore a violet Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2013 strapless frock.

Not allowing the dress to do all the heavy lifting, she wore a fabulous pair of Rupert Sanderson ‘Moiki’ pumps in metallic silver to complete the futuristic superhero vibe.

These space-age heels have also been spotted on Ellie Goulding and Katie Aselton.

GQ Men Of The Year PartyIt’s no surprise that Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o weren’t the only ones cutting handsome—and pretty—profiles at the GQ 2013 ‘Men of the Year’ party, hosted last night in Los Angeles, California. There was plenty more eye candy to spare.

James Van Der Beek: The actor brought out his own baby blues in a Todd Snyder ensemble, ratcheting up his grey plaid suit with a blue shirt, lighter tie and mixed-print pocket square. The grand finale of the look, though, were those blue shoelaces on his brown loafers.

Darby Stanchfield: Decked out in a burgundy-red Emilio De La Morena Fall 2012 gown, the ‘Scandal’ star mixed sophistication and edginess with this streamlined, lacquered-bodice dress, which actually set off her slicked-back, flame-toned locks. You may remember Julianne Hough previously wore this gown.

Chace Crawford: The actor opted for a light dove-grey, wool two-button small notch lapel suit by Dior Homme, which he wore with a white cotton, button-down shirt, black silk tie and black leather derbies. Something about the suit wasn’t as sizzling as his stare.

Jaimie Alexander In Osman - British Fashion Council Style Suites

Jaimie Alexander attended the British Fashion Council’s London Style Suites event on Friday evening at the Chateau Marmont in LA.

Having stunned many of you at the ‘Thor’ premiere, she toned things down considerably for this event.

Wearing all white, she selected an Osman Spring 2014 one-shoulder textured dress with an asymmetrical hemline and a not-so-innocent cut out at the waist, which she styled with B Brian Atwood leather ‘Labrea’ sandals which continue to be popular, having seen them on Rooney Mara and Rita Ora.

Does this look wipe the Azzaro gown out of your mind? Or will she always be the girl who went commando on the red carpet?

Jaimie Alexander In Azzaro - 'Thor The Dark World' LA Premiere

Jaimie Alexander joined Kat Dennings on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Thor: The Dark World’ in Los Angeles on Monday evening.

The actress didn’t hold much back last night, as evidenced by her black, long-sleeved Spring 2014 Azzaro floor-length gown. While she may have technically been covered up, that was merely a technicality. The dress gave way to one long mesh panel — somewhat strategically placed down her front and back side — revealing a continuous flash of skin and at times, showing off a little too much of her assets.

She accessorized with silver feather-shaped earrings, an Edie Parker ‘Lara’ clutch, and smoky eyes.

While the dress definitely highlighted her gorgeous frame, did it simultaneously disprove the theory of “less is more” for you, or do you applaud her sexy choice?
