‘The Big Picture’ CinemaCon Presentation of ‘Tag’

There was a lot of fashion to discuss at ‘The Big Picture’ CinemaCon presentation of ‘Tag’ on Tuesday (April 24) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Leslie Bibb: The model-actress was pretty and prim in Adeam Spring 2018. I wish the sweet style was just a few shades darker so it would be more flattering or that she wore the original runway version. Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Zaha’ sandals played off the embellishment in the frock while adding a modern sentiment.

Isla Fisher: She showed some leg in Ulla Johnson. This mustard collar is marvelous with her ginger hair and the gathered shoulders play off the smocked detailing along the base of the dress. The platform sandals contributed to the summery feel.

Annabelle Wallis: The British actress went for a fashion-forward look in Prabal Gurung Fall 2018. While I like the idea of a masculine-feminine mix, the proportions feel off. Additionally, the closure on the trousers gives them the appearance of having a poor fit.

2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The was plenty of shimmer and sass at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday (March 11) in Inglewood, California, where celebrities joined Hailey Baldwin and Iggy Azalea.

Madelaine Petsch: The ‘Riverdale’ actress opted for L’atiste by Amy coordinates and a Tyler Ellis clutch. At music awards shows almost anything goes, but this doesn’t feel quite right for the event. The accessories are enhancing the disjointed impression. The co-ords would have been cute at a photocall.

Ashley Greene: Projecting a darker mood, the actress wore a Shoshanna dress printed with metallic blooms. The flared frock was a change of pace from the usual slinky gowns, but I can see some taking issue with the prom feel.

Justine Skye: The singer brightened up the carpet in a Cushnie et Ochs dress with Pierre Hardy ‘Parade’ sandals and Area earrings. It was a fun look with her purple bun playing off the contrasting colours in the shoes.

Isla Fisher In Alex Perry – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Isla Fisher was back on the red carpet at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, alongside Amy Adams, Olivia Munn and Janelle Monae.

Ravishing in red, the actress donned an Alex Perry gown. There is an old idea that redheads cannot wear red, but she proved this not to be true.

The fiery dress enhanced her ginger locks while projecting a glamorous, Old Hollywood sentiment.

The geometric lines of her Atelier Swarovski ‘Marina’ clutch played off the pleated neckline and the sweeping lines of the hem.

The turquoise jewellery was an unexpected choice but further enlivened the rich red.

The Hollywood Reporter’s 2017 Women In Entertainment Breakfast Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more fashionable femmes in attendance at The Hollywood Reporter’s 2017 Women In Entertainment Breakfast on Wednesday (December 6) in Hollywood, California, joining Zoey Deutch and Jennifer Lawrence.

Amandla Stenberg: With a bold play on colour-blocking, this Solace London Resort 2018 ensemble celebrated the feminine form—even with menswear-inspired trousers. I like the vivid curve of the red-orange halter in contrast with the white waistband piece. Nicholas Kirkwood embellished pumps completed the look.

Lea Michele: The actress opted for the elegant-girly aesthetic of designer Lela Rose with this floral-embroidered frock.

Isla Fisher: The suiting trend got a punchy, graphic boost in this Alice + Olivia Resort 2018 matching jacket and pants, styled with a coordinating navy blouse.

Who Wore Kate Spade New York Better? Isla Fisher or Izabela Vidovic?

Here we have two gorgeous girls wearing the same Kate Spade New York dress, on the same day, on different sides of the Atlantic.

Isla Fisher was spotted headed to the ‘Loose Women’ studios in London to promote her new book ‘Marge and the Great Train Rescue’, while young Izabela Vidovic joined a host of stars for the harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue party.

Both opted for interesting accessories.

The pops of red and the Kate Spade New York leopard print jacket instantly caught my eye on Isla, however, Izabela’s look feels a lot less cluttered so she wins for me.

WCRF’s ‘An Unforgettable Evening’ Presented By Saks Fifth Avenue

A group of lovelies were in attendance at WCRF’s ‘An Unforgettable Evening,’ presented by Saks Fifth Avenue, on Thursday (February 16).

Jessica Hart: The model posed in an artsy Mugler Resort 2017 cutout dress that I loved for the organic fluidity of the undulating neckline and curved hem not to mention its hot medley of hues. She let the frock be the star of the show with minimal styling and a towering top knot.

Amber Valletta: Speaking of stars, Amber brought them out in this embellished Anthony Vaccarello Fall 2015 dress. Perhaps trying to dial down the studded, high-octane mini, she went for a bare-faced look and barely styled hair, yet something still didn’t feel quite as fresh about the look.

6th Annual AACTA International Awards

The 6th annual AACTA International Awards were hosted at Avalon Hollywood on January 6, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. The AACTAs recognise and honour outstanding achievement in the Australian film and television industry, so it is no surprise that a few Aussie beauties took to the red carpet for the event.

Nicole Kidman: The statuesque actress wore a Rochas Spring 2017 tea-length dress. I love how she breathed some life into the moodier dress, bringing out the pink waistband with her vibrant lip colour. The main issue I take with the look is in the bodice area, as it appears as if she has a ribbon of tulle wrapped around her waist in cummerbund form thus cutting off her chest.

Isla Fisher: Another auburn-haired Aussie beauty, Isla Fisher lit up the red carpet with an incredibly sunny Monique Lhuillier golden-yellow gown featuring Asian-influenced, lacy floral embroidery. I applaud her attempt to bring a ray of sunshine to the proceedings, however, I found the look to sadly be on the more dated side. Add to it the pair of rather unfortunate platform sandals that occasionally peeked through the too-long gown, and I wanted to shield my eyes from the glare.

Emma Stone: Managing to effectively toe the line between adorable and badass, the ‘La La Land’ actress wore a Gucci dress that took the idea of the LBD to another level. The silhouette of the tiered ruffle frock may have been sweet, but the cage shoulder detail and the embellished bow and collar had just the right amount of rebellious edge to ensure a dramatic and not-too-dainty finish.
