Idina Menzel In Zac Posen - 2014 Tony Awards

Idina Menzel was one of the performers at the 68th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 8) in New York City, where she was also nominated for Best Performance in a Leading Role in a Musical for ‘If/Then’.

The actress wore a plum-coloured Zac Posen Resort 2015 silk faille mermaid gown with a draped bodice steeped in Posen’s architectural brilliance.

Idina styled her look with Jacob & Co. ruby chandelier earrings and a Judith Leiber ruby-stone clutch with a gold tassel detail.

These plum and ruby colours are perfect for her colouring, complementing those gorgeous chocolate waves and fair complexion.

Idina Menzel In Donna Karan Atelier - 2014 Met Gala

Idina Menzel is graceful on the red carpet for the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The singer/actress wore a Donna Karan Atelier gown with deconstructed floral motifs made of silver sequins, beads, and threadwork that flow into a chiffon and tulle skirt with a dramatic train.

The detail on this dress is phenomenal and Idina definitely owns it. The color and texture is whimsical, but the silhouette makes it pretty hot.

I love the red lip and bouncy curls to really complete that vintage-inspired feel.

This look is nothing short of glamorous. How do you feel about it?

Idina Menzel In Reem Acra - Oscars 2014 Performance

Idina Menzel performed the hit song from Frozen, ‘Let It Go,’ during the 2014 Oscars held at Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood, California.

The Tony award winner donned her second gown of the tonight; this time going for soft and ethereal wearing a pretty Reem Acra peach embroidery gown.

A big performance needed a big gown, so she delivered on both fronts.

Idina Menzel brought a bit of Broadway to Los Angeles at the 2014 Oscars on Sunday, March 2.

The singer of ‘Let it Go’, which is nominated for Best Original Song in the animated film ‘Frozen’, wore custom Vera Wang in a deep, mossy green.

The dress was all about classic glamour and fit Idina’s frame perfectly.

While I agree that the look called for some major jewels, particularly on a nominee, these were a bit contemporary for my taste. I would have loved to see her dripping with some classic pieces worthy of Elizabeth Taylor and a red lip would have amped up the glamour as well.

All in all Idina is killing it and I’m looking forward to seeing her perform tonight. Perhaps there’s even another beautiful dress up her sleeve!
