Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Leandra Medine and Hilary Rhoda attended the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards, held in New York City on Monday evening, alongside designer Rebecca Minkoff.

The trio looked perfectly coordinated as they walked the red carpet wearing complementary blue dresses from the designer’s eponymous line.

The ‘Man Repeller’ blogger, who has previously walked in the designer’s runway shows, wore a vibrant cobalt dress with pink and green accents.

Never one to shy away from some edgy styling, Leandra tops off the dress with a silver-and-white moto vest. Strappy yellow Rebecca Minkoff sandals, a Rebecca Minkoff box clutch and fair share of jewelry accessorize the look.

Rebecca herself chose a casual watercolour print dress from her Resort 2013 collection, paired with a bright yellow Rebecca Minkoff clutch and strappy Rebecca Minkoff sandals.

Hilary opted for a more formal look, wearing a navy, azure and sky-blue colour-blocked Rebecca Minkoff gown with a thigh-high split and cut-outs under the bust.

The model accessorized with simple Rebecca Minkoff sandals and a white Rebecca Minkoff box clutch.

With matching centre-parted, tousled brunette locks, these ladies could easily be sisters – or have the same hairstylist, at least.

Hilary Rhoda joined in with the fun and festivities at the 5th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic held in Jersey City on Saturday afternoon.

The model wore a Fendi summery dress.

Her silk button front dot print sleeveless dress with a banded swing skirt and a blue tip collar was perfectly styled with Rebecca Minkoff ‘Chelsea’ sunglasses, a Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC bag and cream Stuart Weitzman ‘Alex’ espadrille wedges.

Cool shades completed her fun, summery look.

You can buy Hilary’s Stuart Weitzman espadrille wedges from Saks.com, Bloomingdale’s and Piperlime.com.

There hasn’t been as much Alexander McQueen on the red carpet at the 2011 Met Gala as we expected.

Hilary Rhoda is one of the few wearing McQueen tonight.

She opted for an Alexander McQueen white silk tuxedo coat dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

The all white look was paired with white python booties and a McQueen Britannia clutch from the same collection.

Here are the rest of the looks from the New Yorkers For Children Spring Dinner Dance.

Rose McGowan: I love Rose, but I’ve seen this Dolce & Gabbana gown so many times in so many colours that I’m over it, despite it looking awesome on her. Her look is enhanced with a stunning Lorraine Schwartz necklace.

Tinsley Mortimer: I’m not sure what she was thinking, but that’s too much dress for someone so petite. Her modified Christian Dior Fall 2008 dress is overwhelming her.

Prabal Gurung proves that he’s still a popular designer with celebs as 3 lovely supermodels have worn this gorgeous red and black asymmetrical Fall 2010 dress on the red carpet.

Hilary Rhoda gave the dress it’s red carpet debut last year at the Met Gala in New York City which celebrated “American Woman: Fashioning A National Identity.”

She added Christian Louboutin ‘Madame Butterfly’ booties, dazzling jewels and a black clutch to her look.

Chanel Iman wore the same dress to the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party in New York City.

The skirt looks really creased and I’m not feeling her shoe choice.

Super/Uber model Iman wore the same dress on ‘The Fashion Show’ this week, which is shown on Bravo TV.

She wore her dress as the designer intended with a black waistband.

I’m having trouble deciding between Hilary and the ‘real’ Iman.

The ‘real’ Iman wins as I prefer a clear neckline with an asymmetrical dress and I love the waistband with dress.
