Punchbowl Pub

Helena Christensen was seen leaving Guy Richie’s pub last night looking gorgeous wearing a v-neck Isabel Marant Fall 2009 animal print dress.

She wore her dress with black satin shoes, and kept off the bitter November chill with a grey jacket.

The Terrence Higgins Trust Supper Club

What stands out most from Jacquetta Wheeler’s look is her Temperley London cropped leather studded jacket.

The rest of her look included black pieces studded with gold, from her LBD to her clutch.

At first I thought Heidi Range’s dress was from Victoria Beckham’s Fall 2009 collection, but she is actually wearing a French Connection long sleeved Annie dress.

The Sugababes are known for mostly wearing mini dresses, so this is a refreshing change for Heidi.

Red’s Hot Women Awards

Jo Whiley looked good wearing a Peter Pilotto Fall 2009 skirt, paired with a black blazer, black tee and Gucci triple platform pumps.

Weather Girls get a bad rap, but GMTV’s Andrea McLean has to be one of the most stylish Weather Girls I’ve ever seen.

I’m loving her cropped jumpsuit.

Opening Night of “Calendar Girls”

Kelly Brook’s grey dress looks to be more appropriate for the boudoir than red carpet, but you can’t help falling in love with Kelly as she ALWAYS has a gracious smile on her face despite being knocked time and time again.

Georgina Chapman is the latest guest designer for Garrard.

She follows it-girl and jewelery designer Jade Jagger who departured from the company as Creative Director in 2007.

The designer looked stunning in an electric blue strapless Marchesa strapless dress with a gathered bodice which hasn’t appeared on the runway.  See she can diversify.

Exquisite earrings and a ring from her Garrard collection complete the look.

Helena Christensen will always be one of the most beautiful women on this planet. I love how she’s working this look.

The super wore a black Marchesa mini tank dress, which incorporates the white embroidery detail from a Marchesa Spring 2010 gown we saw presented recently.

Her look is paired with black pointy heels, a Marchesa Crocodile clutch and a black Marchesa short sleeved feathered coat.

Tyra Banks would say this look is ‘fieeerrrccceeee’.

Tinsley Mortimer paired her favourite YSL Folies sandals with an onyx Notte by Marchesa bubble hemmed dress with embroidered shoulder straps

Her silver fringed clutch is from her own Samantha Thavasa collection.

Tinsley was there to view the collection, but she was also filming her reality TV show.

Hopefully it’s more interesting and less predictable than “The City”.

Becki Newton kept her look simple but chic wearing a black Notte by Marchesa dress with gold chain trims, paired with a fantastic pair of woven strappy sandals.

Flawless make-up.

Mischa Barton looks amazing in this this black one shoulder Notte by Marchesa dress with chiffon overlay and embroidered waist detail, but the shoes don’t quite do it for me.

In this picture she is showing off a Gold and White diamond bird wraparound Gerrard ring.

After Gwyneth Paltrow wore the gold version of this Versace Spring 2009 dress, plus it’s appeared on many magazine covers, Gisele Bündchen gave us something a little different with a navy blue spaghetti strapped version of this mini dress.

Not a jaw-dropping moment like last year, but you can always rely on her to look fabulous.

Daria Werbowy walked the runway the Balmain Fall 2009 show so she would have pre-selection what she wanted to wear to the event weeks ago. She opted for this black sequined plunging dress from the same collection, with black booties.

Anja Rubik also walked for Balmain, and it looks like she had her eye on this strapless silver piece, with a black asymmetrical hem from the Fall 2009 collection.

Still sporting her Auburn locks, Coco Rocha wore a gold asymmetrical Isaac Mizrahi Fall 2009 gown.

Donatella Versace had a busy night dressing yet another star in her Atelier Versace Spring 2009 collection. Claudia Schiffer opted for a black strapless gown, with many sheer panels.

We have been crying out for a new hairstyle for weeks, and Claudia gave us bangs to keep us quite.

Miranda Kerr wore a very revealing fringed Jil Sander Spring 2009 dress.

Iman supreme elegance as always in Donna Karan.

Karen Elson’s Gothic look is perfect for this Chanel Fall 2009 off the shoulder gown, with a white pleated collar.

The look of the Rodarte Fall 2009 collection included thigh high boots, but Jessica Stam opted for slingbacks with her Rodarte one-shouldered mini dress.

Despite the vivid yellow, I’m missing the wow factor I usually get from Amber Valletta at these types of events.

Helena Christensen’s pink Zac Posen custom Vogue gown is cute, but I would’ve preferred to see it on someone like Chanel Iman.

Hilary Rhoda wore a Thakoon Fall 2009 mini asymmetrical mini dress, with a pouffy piece on her shoulder. I much preferred this dress in black, as it was presented on the runway, but Hilary does look great in it.

As I said above I would have preferred that Helena and Chanel Iman has swapped dresses. Last night Chanel wore a pink Zac Posen Spring 2009 animal print gown.

Shalom Harlow is quite a mysterious character, and she isn’t giving much away in this vintage Bob Mackie black puffy coat dress.

Sessilee Lopez sparkled in a Zac Posen gown, as did Arlenis Sosa in Alberta Ferretti.

Isabeli Fontana pulled on a chartreuse mini for Calvin Klein, with matching pumps.

Alex Wek stood out in purple Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2009 mini dress, but she is so natural beautiful make-up weakens her look.

Narciso Rodriguez dressed Lily Donaldson in a black rise & fall gown.

Rachel Roy- in her own design - dressed both Lakshmi Menon and Joy Bryant. As much as I love them both Joy totally rocks my world in this dress.

Eva Herzigova wore a strapless nude Dolce & Gabbana dress, with Giuseppe Zanotti Special Edition crystal strap sandals.

Lara Stone rocks in her silver Alexander Wang dress.

April 30th, 2009

Eva Mendes may have been the most high-profile celebrity at this event, but she wowed me the least.

The Calvin Klein fragrance campaign girl, wore an eggplant crescent hemmed textured dress from Francisco Costa’s Fall 2009 minimalist collection, with strappy Fall 2009 heels.

The dress was lengthen from the runway version, yet that’s still nothing to get excited about.

It’s a nice colour on her though.

Speaking of having the wow factor, Helena Christensen gave me what I always crave on the red carpet…bursts of colour.

The sultry aurban haired supermodel, wore a yellow and blue striped Marc Jacobs Voile draped dress, which really stood out from all the others.

The dress was worn with the runway leather sash, a black clutch, and black peep-toes.

Molly Sims opted for a long sleeved Calvin Klein Pre-Fall 2009 dress.

I admire Molly stepping out of her comfort-zone to wear this directional piece, as we’re more used to seeing her wear cute tunic dresses.

Had I not seen paparazzi snaps of Olivia Palermo out this week with Marc Jacobs shopping bags, I may not have sussed that she was wearing a Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 dress.

Her dress has been heavily modified from the long-sleeved runway version, but the paisley pattern on the material, and the construction of the dress remain the same.

The ’social’ completed her look with black Pour La Victoire heels, and a canary yellow clutch, with a feathered detail.

Actress Amanda Setton picked an interesting and exciting piece from the Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 collection.

Amanda gives this full skirted piece the energy needed to pull it off. I adore the stripy skirt, the sequined red top, the Pour La Victoire heels, and the bare legs.

Anna Wintour attended Salma Hayek’s wedding in a re-run, just like she did to this event.

The Editor-in-Chief of Vogue US, wore the same Marni Spring 2009 ensemble, which she wore to the 5th Anniversary of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event last year.

She ditched the maroon tights and metallic heels, to wear this look with gold strappy sandals.

Browns Fashion have both the sequin and macramé top, and the macramé pencil skirt available to purchase on their website.

Stylist Amanda Ross should’ve known to wear a nude bra under her gorgeous embroidered Peter Som Spring 2009 top.

I also would’ve preferred this look without the black belt, and I don’t need to share by feelings about the tights, but they kinda work with this look.

Whilst we look forward to the second installment of Matthew Williamson’s H&M collection, he had a launch party in New York yesterday.

It was a great chance for us to see pieces from the new collection.

The party nautically-themed party took place on a yacht, and Matthew invited some stylish stars to toast his success.

Campaign model Daria Werbowy caught my eye the most, as she was wearing the same splash print sequin dress, which I purchased last week.

Selita Ebanks really gave us the wow factor, wearing an asymmetrical gown, from Matthew Williamson Spring 2009 collection, with peachy accessories.

In case you are wondering, she will be a contender for Best Dressed Of The Week.

Helena Christiansen gave us a mark 2 preview, as she wore a dress from the second installment of the Matthew Williamson for H&M collection.

She wore a sweet mini printed dress, with a belt, embroidered clutch and gold flat sandals.

Lucy Liu is normally so stylish, but on this occasion, I’m not excited about her choice.

She wore a black embroidered black tunic dress, with nude peep-toes. This is also from the second collection, but it’s not the right style fit for my Lucy.

Mary-Kate Olsen added a pop of colour with her loose purple jacket, over her asymmetrical LBD.

Her Matthew Williamson piece, was the blue studded belt, which I unfortunately couldn’t find in my size.

Alexis Bledel shunned the H&M affordable collection, and opted for a graphic print dress from Matthew Williamson Spring 2009 collection, with Sergio Rossi elasticated strappy ankle sandals.

Great choice, but I much prefer this dress with a belt, as worn on the runway and by Joy Bryant.

Here is a look as what we can expect in stores on May, 14.

“Star Trek” London Premiere

Zoe Saldana is not slowing down.

Last night at the London premiere, she gave us another head-to-toe perfect look wearing a delicate silver Azzedine Alaia halter-neck dress, with a full skirt, and a metallic silver waistband.

What I adored the most, apart from her glossy hair, and outstanding drop earrings, were her black lace-up Azzedine Alaia cut-out booties.

“The Soloist” Los Angeles Premiere

Anna Friel looks outstanding wearing an Ana Sekularc Spring 2009 asymmetrical LBD.

I love the Roger Vivier pointy heels, her sun kissed skin, and those stunning pearl drop earrings.

It’s always a delight to see Anna on the red carpet.

O. M. G.

Have you ever seen Halle Berry look so bad? I don’t think I ever have. This is a first.

The make-up is beyond shocking, I hate those streaks in her hair, and the dress is perfect for a summer vacation, but not really red carpet material.

If you think it can’t get any worse, she is wearing flip flops on the red carpet. My number one no no, along with sunglasses.

*shakes head, wonders why*

1st Annual Blossom Ball

Helena Christensen wore brightened up the red carpet, wearing a silk lilac Thakoon rose print billow dress

I love the drape top with the pencil skirt and 3/4 length sleeves.

With a hint of pink lips, Helena completes this look with a black bow waist belt, ruby ankle strap heels, and a black purse.

Orange is fast becoming the colour of this Spring/Summer season.

Padma Lakshmi wore this wonderful citrus colour in an Alberta Ferretti satin draped dress. Gold accessories add more warmth to the look.

*Sighs*

I have loved Oluchi Onweagba since her Gap ads, and she continues to astound me with her beauty.

The Nigerian model looked really beautiful wearing a Lanvin Spring 2009 strapless champagne coloured dress, with an embellished leopard print detail on the front.

My only criticism is that the dress appears to be a little tight around her hip area.

Planet Hollywood Celebrates The Opening Of PEEPSHOW, Las Vegas

After doing a post on Christian Louboutin Differa 140 sandals last week, Melanie Brown arrived at this event wearing them in turquoise, which didn’t go with her champagne fringed dress.

Heidi Montag will love these, but I don’t.

Lindsay Lohan was also at this event, wearing LBD that was just spoiling for a wardrobe malfunction. I bet she wasn’t wearing any tit tape.

Her Azzedine Alaia burgundy Ornate open toe heels are gorgeous though.

February 22nd, 2009

Julianne Moore was the host of this event.

She arrived wearing a Lanvin Spring 2009 ensemble consisting of a blue asymmetrical blouse with a puffy sleeve, and a black skirt, which tied at the waist.

Her look was complete with YSL criss-cross strappy sandals.

Angie Harmon wore this edgy Todd Lynn Fall 2008 black halter dress, which had furry details on the shoulder.

I love how fierce she look here. Totally unexpected.

Camilla Belle’s sequined sheath dress is divine.

I love the pop of colour on her lips, and the way the black peplum at the waist kicks back.

I got really excited to see Dita von Teese again, but for what might be the first time ever, she really lets me down with this dress. Talking about aging.

The dress is too boring, too plain and too safe for Dita. I just can’t believe I am typing those words with reference to her.

Sharon Stone wore a black silk chiffon Christian Dior Spring 2009 halter top embellished with gold paillettes.

Her look was complete with black pants, a black blazer and a Lady Dior ‘Cannage’ bag.

Love her or hate her, Kim Kardashian continues to impress. This time she kept her look simple in a black gown, whilst showing off some stunning diamonds.

Who would thought an event hosted by Julianne Moore would have Kim as an attendee?

Debra Messing was one of my red carpet faves for a while, but I feel lost looking at her here.

I don’t know what I love more. Natalia Vodianova’s strappy sandals, or her mint green dress. ♥.

Monique Lhuillier looks stunning in her own self designed ruffled strapless dress.

Helena Christensen is purplicious in her stunning plunging gown.

Lily Collins has been making many red carpet appearances, despite what she actually does still not being entirely clear.

She wore a crushed BCBG Max Azria taupe dres, with gold heels.
