Helen Mirren In Dolce & Gabbana – 25th European Film Awards

Helen Mirren attended the 25th European Film Awards at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta on Saturday evening.

Yes, she did it again by wearing a black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with gold embroidery.

Her run started at the ‘Hitchcock’ New York premiere, followed by the LA premiere and here we are again.

While this full-length gown is my favourite of the three, I’m at the enough’s enough point.

The finale of the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 collection showcased at least 20 of these black-and-gold lace pieces, so I’m kinda praying we don’t have a four-peat.

Ending on a positive note, the grand Dame looks absolutely divine.

Helen Mirren In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Hitchcock’ LA Premiere

The grand dame, Helen Mirren, joined Jessica Biel on the red carpet at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California for the ‘Hitchcock’ premiere.

No prizes for guessing that she wore a dress from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 collection again.

On this occasion she wore a black lace dress with gold embroidered trims around the neckline, waist, cuffs and hemline.

Keeping the same black-and-gold theme going once again, she wore the same peep-toes from the previous premiere, adding onyx-and-gold earrings, a Dolce & Gabbana mini ‘Miss Sicily’ bag and waves to her golden tresses to complete her look.

Even with a mild case of déjà vu, Helen looks outstanding.

Helen Mirren In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Hitchcock’ New York Premiere

Helen Mirren was clearly in a festive mood when she took to the red carpet for the ‘Hitchcock’ premiere, which was held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Sunday evening.

I have to say, for me she upstaged her two co-stars, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana black lace dress with rich gold embroidered details from the Fall 2012 collection.

The black-and-gold theme continued to her Dolce & Gabbana shoes and shoulder bag, with gold drop earrings and a slicked back hairdo completing the look.

Helen Mirren In Dolce & Gabbana – 47th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

Helen Mirren and her husband Taylor Hackford attended the opening of the 47th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

The ceremony kicked off with the British actress receiving an award for her outstanding contributions to world cinema.

Looking as stunning and youthful as always, Helen opted for a purplicious Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Her striking lace dress with a black lace detail around the neckline was styled with a crochet sac, a gold necklace and an emerald ring.

Opting for a fresh-faced look, Helen added a slick of pink lippie to complete her look.

Front Row @ Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012

The front row at Dolce & Gabbana shows are just as anticipated as the collection itself.

The celebrities make their way down from the VIP lounge, to the end of the runway where they are papped by the photographers one by one.

Sonam Kapoor: I was honoured that Sonam wanted to meet me before the show as I had missed her in Paris. She was happy to discover that we were the same height. It’s a rare that I meet women my height so I shared her joy. She looked amazing wearing a sunflower and onion Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 fitted dress. “I’m wearing vegetables”, she joked. “You wear it well”, I replied. Red lips matched her red Dolce & Gabbana bag and gold peep-toes completed her look.

Dame Helen Mirren: The grand Dame was almost unrecognisable at the Dolce & Gabbana show. When word got around that it was her, people were in disbelief. Mostly because she continues to defy her years looking very sprightly wearing head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana. She opted for floral instead of fruit, teaming her fitted dress with a beige short sleeve coat from the Spring 2012 collection. An animal print Miss Sicily bag completed the look.

Monica Bellucci: The actress sent the photographers crazy; as you can well imagine. The woman who is archetypal Dolce & Gabbana woman and face of the Spring 2012 campaign looked stunning wearing a Dolce & Gabbana polka dot dress. She really took my breath away with her presence and beauty.

Helen Mirren In Dolce & Gabbana – 2011 British Comedy Awards

Helen Mirren added a touch of glamour to the 2011 British Comedy Awards on Friday in London.

The annual event in London celebrates the UK’s biggest comedy talents on stage and TV and was presented by Jonathan Ross.

Mirren was also on hand to present the Lifetime Achievement award to the team behind hit current affairs show, ‘Have I Got News For You’.

She did so looking as gorgeous as ever, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 dress.

Many of you had Dolce & Gabbana star-print fatigue earlier this summer, but you have to admit that the grand dame looks outstanding in this star-print Dolce & Gabbana charmeuse lace inserts dress which she sexed up with leather gloves.

Helen added a necklace with a cluster of stars, a black clutch, tights and black pumps to complete her look.

Even with the pumps and tights, she’s already in strong contention for being my favourite this week.

Helen Mirren In Michael Kors – “The Debt” New York Screening

Helen Mirren was bubbly and effervescent as always on the red carpet at “The Debt” New York Screening last night which was held at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

The British actress continues to prove that age ain’t nothing as she looked sensational wearing a Michael Kors twisted jersey dress.

Her red modern classic long sleeve dress with a pleat detail on shoulder and a ruched knot at draped front was accented with gold embellished brooches.

These simple additions add a lot to the overall feel of the look. The dress may have been quite plain without them.

With a beautiful blown-out hairstyle Helen completed her look with snake-skin strappy sandals.
