Helen Mirren was one of the many stars at the 68th Berlinale International Film Festival opening ceremony and ‘Isle of Dogs’ premiere in Berlin, Germany on Thursday (February 15). She joined Elle Fanning, Greta Gerwig and Tilda Swinton.
The actress brought out a Rami Al Ali Fall 2016 Couture dress to make a majestic entrance in.
It’s common to see actresses make full use of lengthy red carpets with sweeping trains and full skirts, but she opted for an ankle-length design.
The shorter silhouette enhances the flared skirt bedecked with cascading embellishment. However, I wish it was shortened just a wee bit more, if not to the runway’s original length, for a sharper finish.
The warm gray colour and the open neckline tempered the princess sentiment of the full skirt.
Her version upped the sexiness with the V-shaped bodice skimming her shoulders and drawing attention to her décolletage.
Chopard jewels completed her look.
