2009 Costume Institute Gala – Worst Dressed

Madonna knows she looks bad in this Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 ensemble, but kudos to her for not seeming to give a damn that she will be on every worst dress list today.

If Marc Jacobs paid me her kind of money to be a campaign girl, I would show up to this event looking this ridiculous, bunny rabbit ears and all.

Actually, thinking about it, I wouldn’t.

As much as I admire Rihanna for trying something new, this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 cropped pant suit, with voluminous shoulders doesn’t work for me.

Maybe I expected too much for her red carpet return.

When did being pregnancy become such a fashion crime?

Too much material has gone into covering Heidi Klum’s baby bump with this navy blue J.Mendel dress.

The cat’s out of the bag, why not show off the baby bump, in a tasteful way of course.

Oh Jessica Biel, I knew you wouldn’t let me down. Thank you for not ruining this moment by wearing something half decent, which would force me to say something nice about you.

She totally ruins this Atelier Versace Spring 2009 strapless rise and fall gown, with her cheap spray tan that looks like its started to wash out with the rain, I can’t quite decide who looks worst, Jessica or that Clark Kent wannabee on your arm.

Sorry you lose.

Woooo tan much

It looks like Victoria Beckham and Jessica Biel shared the same booth.

This cute polka dotted custom Marc Jacobs dress, may have worked for me, if it wasn’t for the unnecessary train. I’ve always hated trains on a short skirt.

She just can’t get this red carpet thing right.

“Star Trek” LA Premiere

The little goosebumps going up my arm, are a clear indication that Zoe Saldana will a be contender for Best Dressed Of The Week.

What’s that 3 weeks in a row? Girlfriend is on fire.

Her long sleeved Emilio Pucci Fall 2009 sequined mini dress, with a snake-like silver detail running through it, lacey cut outs, plus the first way she is posing, ensured that no one was going to upstage her on her night.

If you have a shoe fetish, I suggest you don’t look at her outstanding Brian Atwood Wicked heels, from the Fall 2009 collection.

Very wicked indeed.

Once you’ve scrolled down, one thing will stand out, Michelle Monaghan.

This is because she opted for a neon pink Versace Fall 2009 long-sleeved dress, when most others opted for black.

I love the colour, her fresh face, and her clutch. I wouldn’t have picked those black strappy sandals, but she makes them work.

Leighton Meester gave her lighter locks their red carpet debut last night.

The Gossip Girl actress wowed the crowds in a mini slate grey YSL bow back dress. The dress kinda look a tad tight, but I just love the 3 bows fastened across the back.

Her head-to-toe YSL Spring 2009 look was complete with YSL cage ankle boots.

I have the feeling that Heidi Klum is going take maternity chic to another level.

The stylist mum-to-be, wore a black flapper-style Jasmine di Milo fringed dress, which covered her growing baby bump, with black Louboutin’s, and Martin Katz jewels.

Even though Nicollette Sheridan is on trend wearing the much loved Christian Louboutin Differa sandals, why does her look seems so out-dated?

Amanda Bynes has been beamed back to 2007, when it was hot to wear a coral Hervé Léger mini bandage dress, with YSL Tribute sandals.

Geez, even Heidi Montag would frown at this look.

I’m not sure what Kristin Cavallari actually does these days, but she sure made sure she would get some attention wearing a Hervé Léger by Max Azria Spring 2009 multi-coral mini dress.

Christian Louboutin Catenita cork sandals, with a hot pink platform completed the look.

Sophia Bush completes the trio of Hervé Léger dresses on this red carpet, and I can’t help but feel a tiny bit disappointed.

Not because of her Hervé Léger Zebra stripe dress itself, because she looks lovely in it, but because it puts her in the same category as Amanda and Kristin.

Hayden Panettiere’s looks very grown up in her black figure-hugging black pencil dress with cut-outs on the side.

I’m glad she added those bubblegum pink Louboutin’s, otherwise I may have disliked this look.

Winona Ryder makes a very rare appearance on the red carpet, channeling her usual Gothic chic, in a lacey full-skirted black dress.

The LG "Rumorous Night" Launch Party

Heidi Klum covered her growing baby bump with a cute asymmetrical black Thomas Wylde babydoll dress, but I am sure all eyes were on her Giuseppe Zanotti Special Edition crystal strap sandals.

I’m drooling, are you drooling?

Milla Jovovich evoked vintage-chic in a stunning sleeveless lace top, and black knee-length skirt. She accessorized with a maroon waist belt, and bold red lips.

HOLY HOT MESS.

That’s all I have for Christina Aguilera.

Ashley Tisdale stood out in a short blue sleeveless Opening Ceremony dress, with a black belt. The dress showed off her legs, but my eyes were fixated on her Christian Louboutin Mary-Jane 3 strap heels.

I have a serious case of shoe envy today.

Brittany Snow wowed in a gorgeous bright green strapless frock, and a pair of gold faux-snakeskin peep toes.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, who recently revealed she is dating her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy, showed off her stunning figure in a forest green above-knee empire-waist Dolce & Gabbana frock, with black heels, and a bronze clutch.

I must say I really love this look.

Anna Faris shows us how nude heels can really elongate your legs, in her mini blue satin dress.

Paula Patton has been MIA on the red carpet for a while. She makes a return wearing a red strapless belted dress, with black open toe booties.

Rosario Dawson went for a smart look in a pair of black skinny jeans, a charcoal top and a black blazer.

Runway To Vogue Germany Photo Shoot – Heidi Klum In Atelier Versace

We all know Heidi Klum as the fun loving, all smiling supermodel, but for her shoot with Vogue Germany yesterday, she got in touch with the more edgier moody side, whilst posing in couture pieces.

My favourite was the Atelier Versace Spring 2009 strapless red paillette covered dress, worn with Gucci Fall 2009 heels. It was one of the most exquisite pieces from that amazing collection, but should never be paired with a cardi. What would Donatella say?

Heidi looked like a milk maid in her Dior Spring 2009 Couture black shorten skirt suit, with an oversized lace collar, which she wore with Gucci Fall 2009 open-toe booties.

She brought Rodeo Drive to a standstill, as the crowd marveled at how she could walk in her 12in Alexander McQueen Fall 2009 boots. No doubt we will see those on Victoria Beckham in the future.

Other looks included an 80s style black skirt suit with lace collar, and nude heels, plus a Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 black skirt suit, which had turquoise woolen balls in the puffy sleeves, worn with heels from the same Fall 2009 collection.

I’ll bring you the finished editorial, once the pictures are printed.

Who Wore Victoria Beckam Collection Better? Victoria Beckham or Heidi Klum

I often wondered if any celebrities would be brave enough to wear Victoria Beckham designs, because lets face it, no one can out Victoria in her own threads.

Victoria’s wore her Spring 2009 LBD with a black fur shrug, gloves, and trademark sunnies, when she was shopping at the Diane von Furstenberg boutique in the meatpacking district last year.

Her BFF, Heidi Klum wore the same dress yesterday when she unveiled the new Victoria’s Secret, ‘Perfect One’ bra at the Grove in Los Angeles yesterday.

It is unncanny that the BFFs are both wearing those YSL Trib Two’s as well.

As much as I love Victoria, it’s so refreshing to see someone else wearing her designs, so Heidi wins this for me.

I wonder if Heidi got mates rates?
