Red Carpet Fashion Awards

As much as I love Rachel McAdams’ Andrew GN Spring 2010 slate grey gown with embellished panels, I’m not in love with the Victorian hairstyle.

The style maybe classic to some, but for me it ages Rachel a little bit.

My blogging buddy Sophie doesn’t agree, and I’m sure many of you won’t agree with me either.

Her gown however is BDOTW worthy.

I’m totally in love with Kelly Reilly’s chiffon nude Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 gown, which unfortunately got soaked by our Great British weather.

This gown was my favourite from that collection, so I’m happy to see it worn so beautifully on the red carpet.

Another worthy contender, and my favourite on this post.

Heather Graham opted for something younger and sexier.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw Heather wearing her L’Wren Scott ivory polka-dot dress with Christian Louboutin ivory enguille ankle boots was Sarah Jessica Parker.

The reason is because SJP wore a very similar look – in fact she wore the same boots -to the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

I’ve got a thing for big wild hair at the moment, so I adore Heather tresses.

Unlike Rachel, Heather didn’t brave the cold for long, as she covered up with a black L’Wren Scott cape to keep her warm.

Heather Graham hosted “Vegas Magazine’s Sixth Anniversary” celebrations in Las Vegas back in May.

She looked drop-dead gorgeous wearing a one-shouldered Herve Leger Camille beaded dress from the Spring 2009 collection with her favorite Jimmy Choo gold Flynn sandals and a matching bag.

Elle Macpherson showed that their is still plenty of life left in her supermodel status, by wearing the same super-short dress with blush pink Christian Louboutin peep-toe platforms at the launch of the new Jaguar XJ at the Saatchi Gallery in London earlier this month.

As much as Elle ‘The Body’ Macpherson looks good in her dress, I much prefer Heather’s hair and Choo’s, so she wins this for me.

I think this is going to be the hardest ever poll, mostly because I’m not at all keen on the dress.

For the “Hangover” Dublin premiere last week, Heather Graham wore this black strapless Herve Leger dress, with sheer cut-out panels down oneside.

The actress completed her look with a black strappy sandals, and a matching clutch.

Kristin Cavallari obviously hadn’t been keep up with current events, because the very next day she wore the same dress to the “The Wizard of Oz” Exhibition Opening Night Gala in LA.

Kristin also kept her accessories to a minimum opting for a stack of gold bangles and nude platform slingbacks.

After agonizing over this for a long while, I will pick Kristin, mostly because of the black nude theme she has going on, and secondly because she looks like she actually put a comb through her hair.

Martini “Stay Beautiful” Launch Party, London

Thandie Newton, is the new gorgeous face of Martini, and she hosted a party in London this week to celebrate.

In my eyes, Thandie Newton can do no wrong. I don’t think I have ever said a bad word about her as she’s total perfection every time she steps out.

She wore a beautiful black vintage dress with lace detailing, which was trimmed with gold.

Her sleek updo, Louis Vuitton clutch, and gold strappy heels complete this stunning look.

Best Dressed of The Week contender for sure.

“The Hangover” London Premiere

Heather Graham shows off her curves in a figure-hugging blue asymmetrical Michelle Jonas dress, with a gold ring detail on the shoulder.

As soon as I saw it, I thought of Mariah Carey for some reason.

I think it’s safe to say that Heather isn’t wearing any underwear with this dress, because she looks to be smuggling raisins, and that side split is daring low.

Heather red carpet looks are getting more and more risky as she promotes this film, which is a good enough indication for me that the movie can’t be that good.

A gold cuff completes this look.

“L.A.Candy” Book Launch Party, LA

Lauren Conrad shows off her golden glowing tan in a black 3.1 Phillip Lim mini dress and black Louboutin’s.

Can’t wait to see what this girl does next.

Graduate Fashion Week 2009 Gala Show, London

When I picture Mark Fast’s creations, I see them on people like Tilda Swinton, Chloe Sevigny and Roisin Murphy.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wouldn’t have come to mind, and this is why.

She makes this red knit Mark Fast Spring 20009 dress with a fringed detail look really tacky, and dare I say cheap.  A look like this need someone with lots of personality to pull it off. Susie Bubble would totally work this look.

The only thing that stops this look from begin a total disaster are her Giuseppe Zanott gladiator ankle boots.
