“Reveal” Fragrance Promotion – Halle Berry In Badgley Mischka

Maybe Halle Berry read your comments from my last post, because she changed her red carpet formula for her promotion of her newest fragrance “Reveal”.

In Hamburg, Germany she did wear something short, but it wasn’t tight and it wasn’t revealing the twins.

*Shocker*

She looked fabulous wearing a metallic Badgley Mischka long-sleeved asymmetrical dress which she paired with metallic peep-toes and a selection of necklaces.

I’m glad she has given us something new, as her red carpet looks were starting to all roll into just one typical dress.

Beautiful as always.

Swarovski Elements Present 22 Ways to Say Black – Halle Berry In Roberto Cavalli

Halle Berry was one of the many celebrities guests to attend the “Swarovski Elements Present 22 Ways to Say Black” event which was a Charity Auction of original couture held at MILK Studios in New York last night.

One thing you can say about Halle is, she’s never met a fitted dress she didn’t like.

Her Roberto Cavalli LBD is leaving very little to the imagination. Thankfully she has a rockin’ body to pull it off.

She carried a Stella McCartney pewter bag whilst dazzling wearing Swarovski jewels.

Do you think Halle looks good or are you tired of this same red carpet figure-hugging look?

Halle Berry For Vogue US September 2010

Halle Berry historically became the first black woman to win Best Actress at the Oscars.

She makes history again today by being only the second black woman to appear on the cover of American Vogue’s September 2010 issue.

Naomi Campbell was the first. If you watched “The September Issue” documentary, you’ll remember how Anna Wintour said back in 1989 it caused “huge controversy to put a black girl on the September cover”.

Oh how times have changed. 21 years on we’re only focusing how beautiful Halle looks on the cover.

Mario Testino shot Halle wearing 6 velvet dresses by Giorgio Armani, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang and Escada.

Velvet is synonymous with Fall, so it’s the perfect way to put as in a Fall mindset as the Fall looks hit the stores.

Halle talks about being a mum to 2-year-old daughter Nahla and her split with Nahla’s father, Gabriel Aubry.

This 726 page issue goes on sale in the US August 24.

You can read Halle’s whole interview at Vogue.com.

Here are some extracts:

On the so-called Oscar curse: “People win Oscars, and then it seems like they fall off the planet. And that’s partly because a huge expectation walks in the room and sits right down on top of your head. The moment I won the Oscar, I felt the teardown the very next day. I thought, if I’m going down, I’m going down taking chances and daring to risk. Hence …Catwoman.”Read More…

Shanghai Bazaar Charity Gala 2010 – Halle Berry In Vera Wang

It was a so-so weekend for most on the red carpet, but Halle Berry looked sensational at the “Shanghai Bazaar Charity Gala 2010″ held in China last night.

The actress wore a breath-taking one-shoulder black organza Vera Wang custom-made gown with a nude underlay.

The gown is lightly embellished on the bodice with ruffled detail on the shoulder.

As usual the star doesn’t need many accessories to shine, just simple subtle jewels and flawless nude make-up.

This is what you call a super star.

I’m so happy to see Halle back on the red carpet.

Jenesse Center’s 30th Anniversary Silver Rose Gala – Halle Berry In Gucci

Halle Berry was looking fabulous at the 30th Anniversary Silver Rose Gala & Auction held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Sunday.

The actress attended this event with Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis and Jamie Foxx to raise money for the Jenesse Center, which help families victimized by domestic violence get back on their feet.

She look outstanding wearing a mushroom coloured Gucci Fall 2010 dress.

Further proving that sexy doesn’t need to involve a plunging neckline, the pixie hair beauty paired her slashed dress with taupe Christian Louboutin Biancia pumps.

I love how Halle fills out this dress so much better than the model.

I also like how she accessorized her dress with a single gold cuff to complement the gold detail on the neckline.

A well worthy BDOTW contender.

Tod’s Beverly Hills Boutique Opening – Halle Berry In Isabel Marant

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Halle Berry on the red carpet, but she looks stunning as she arrived at the Tod’s Beverly Hills boutique opening in LA last night.

What I love about this look is that for once she’s covered up the twins.

If I was blessed with her twins I would show them off too, but I was becoming a boring predictable look for her.

On this occasion she opted for a Isabel Marant silk blouse under a black All Saints Byson vest which she paired with Helmut Lang black pants with a sheer panel running from the back to the front.

Her look was paired with a selection of silver necklaces, a studded Tod’s clutch and black peep-toes.

I’m loving the punky twist on her trademark crop and her flawless (as always) make-up.

Any another week she could’ve been a contender.
