Red Carpet Fashion Awards

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Halle Berry on the red carpet, but she looks stunning as she arrived at the Tod’s Beverly Hills boutique opening in LA last night.

What I love about this look is that for once she’s covered up the twins.

If I was blessed with her twins I would show them off too, but I was becoming a boring predictable look for her.

On this occasion she opted for a Isabel Marant silk blouse under a black All Saints Byson vest which she paired with Helmut Lang black pants with a sheer panel running from the back to the front.

Her look was paired with a selection of silver necklaces, a studded Tod’s clutch and black peep-toes.

I’m loving the punky twist on her trademark crop and her flawless (as always) make-up.

Any another week she could’ve been a contender.

Now this is more like it.

I adore Nicole Kidman’s ivory Nina Ricci Spring 2010 bias dress with delicately placed bows.

This look is so refreshing from all the fitted dresses she’s been wearing recently.

I love the colour, her side swept bun and she appears to be make-up malfunction free.

The pictures of Mo’Nique on the red carpet weren’t very flattering as she was holding the gown by her knees to keep the hem dry, but in the press room we got at better look at her.

The ‘Best Supporting Actress’ Golden Globe winner looked sensational wearing strapless gold Reem Acra custom-made gown.

I like that she kept the neck bare as a large necklace may have over shadowed her beautiful yet simple gown.

Surprisingly I don’t hate Jennifer Aniston in this black Valentino Pre-Fall 2010 gown.

Maybe it’s because of the sexy thigh-high split, or the confidence oozing out of her, or that sultry (for her) make-up or maybe it’s the sleep deprivation kicking.

Whilst I like the dress, heels and make-up, I’m still begging for a hairstyle change.  Just a pony or updo will suffice.

Julianna Margulies was also a winner on the night, collecting the award for ‘Best Actress in a Drama’ for her role in “The Good Wife”.

She opted for an interesting Narciso Rodriguez black gown with a blood red shimmering asymmetrical bodice.

It been a long time since I was excited about Kate Winslet on the red carpet.

That midnight blue YSL gown is a great colour for her and the cut flatters her figure so beautifully.

The gown is accented with a pearl and crystal embroidery detail.

Great Kate is back.

Halle Berry wore a Kaufman Franco black silk bias cut gown with lace inserts.

She looked gorgeous but it’s the same plunging neckline and silhouette we’ve seen a million times before.

So whilst I like it, I’m also incredibly bored by it.

I’ve been falling out of love with Eva Longoria’s style for a long time now.

To this event she wore an Loewe Fall 2009 tank dress with an interesting skirt of embellishments and velvet layers.

On the model wow, on Eva meh???

It looks like she’s wearing a size too big for her.

Her standard Trib Two’s and very obvious extensions don’t float my boat either.

This is a very rare occasion in which Halle Berry’s look is not all about her cleavage.

Her tweed Giambattista Valli skirt suit, is perfectly sophisticated for the event as is her nude make-up.

Hilary Swank seems to have a think for blue at the moment.

Her last 3 red carpet looks have all been blue including this short blue jersey dress with a slashed neckline which shows off her stunning figure.

“After Life” Screening, LA

Christina Ricci never plays it safe and we love her for that.

The actress struck a fierce pose wearing a Marios Schwab black high-neck dress with crystal detail on the front.

Towering YSL Trib Two’s to completed the look.

This is the 3rd Marios Schwab look we’ve seen recently.

Leighton Meester and Cheryl Cole have also fallen in love with Schwab’s cutting edge designs.

“Dare” LA Premiere

Emmy Rossum is definitely on a roll.

The beautiful actress shimmered wearing a Donna Karan sequin jersey dress which she paired with Christian Louboutin t-bar heels whilst her tousled lock tumbled down her shoulders.

March of Dimes 4th Annual Celebration of Babies, LA

Halle Berry was every bit the yummy mummy flaunting her fabulous curves in this Yigal Azrouel long sleeved navy dress with a leather detail on the waist.

Grey suede shoes complete this stunning look.

Could her teeth be more white?

Nicole Richie motto is, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

She’s been rocking the maxi dress look for a while now, and judging by this chocolate and ivory leaf print maxi dress she has no desire to switch things up anytime soon.

Can you believe she gave birth just 2 months ago?

“Broken Embraces” Rome Photocall

Penelope Cruz has been promoting “Broken Embraces” for a while now, so I guess the novelty of dressing up has worn off.

Kerry Washington’s Marchesa Spring 2010 gown with a flared hem and a white corsage detail is gorgeous, but I’m not quite getting the feeling that Kerry is owning it.

She looks a little lost in this gown, which is very unlike her.

It’s like she’s not feeling it at all.

Her look is paired with a Marchesa crocodile clutch which is also from the Spring 2010 collection.

Iman continues wow me time after time and this is no exception.

The supermodel wore a black sequined Thakoon Fall 2009 one-shouldered belted dress which is too spectacular for words.

I adore the draping and the tulle bow detail which sits on her shoulder.

Her sleek bob and smoky make-up complete this perfect look.

As beautiful as Halle Berry is this slashed black Kaufman Franco sequin dress, it looks too tight around her bust which really puts me off this look.

Paula Patton adds a touch of colour via her long sleeved fitted dress which she pairs with a deep red clutch and gladiator sandals.

Not something one would expect at a ball, but I do love this dress.

My biggest problem with Estelle’s look is that she looks so uncomfortable.

Between the tie and the shirt dress button up to the top, she looks so restricted.

In response to Marie B’s request.

Halle Berry carried a Thomas Wylde “Santa Cruz” bag whilst on her way to her favourite spa in West Hollywood, California last week.

She carried her bag whilst wearing a effortlessly summery look of a simple mint green babydoll dress with oversized sunglasses.

With her cool crop and understated look, Halle proves that sometimes less, really is more.
