There was not a stitch of punk within Gwyneth Paltrow’s look for the 2013 Met Gala, held in New York City on Monday; however she was pretty in pink.
I wasn’t expecting too many to embrace the punk theme, so I am not surprised to see the actress opt for this Valentino Couture gown which was custom made which she styled with Wilfredo Rosado earrings.
You will be delighted to see that her pink gown features a nude insert in the shoulders, and not down the side of her skirt on this occasion.
As much as I love this look, I wish it was more fitted around the waist — at present, Gwyneth looks wider at the waist than she usually looks. Plus, I wish some punk element had been added to her look even if it was a studded Valentino clutch or a McQueen skull clutch.
