Gwyneth Paltrow In Marc Jacobs – amfAR Hong Kong Gala

Gwyneth Paltrow In Marc Jacobs - amfAR Hong Kong Gala

Gwyneth Paltrow attended the 2015 amfAR Hong Kong Gala held at Shaw Studios on Saturday (March 14) in Hong Kong.

The actress wore a Marc Jacobs Spring 2015 navy gown with cut-outs and a satin trim at the waist creating a more contoured look.

Upon looking at this dress, my eyes were immediately drawn to the gorgeously intricate Cabochon detailing and of course the set of Harry Winston jewels.

Despite how elegant and bold the dress is, the hair and makeup fell really flat. I want to get excited about the look, but the styling stalls any emotion.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2015 Oscars

Gwyneth Paltrow In Ralph & Russo Couture - 2015 Oscars

Gwyneth Paltrow graced the red carpet on Sunday (February 22) at the 2015 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

The presenter and ’Mortdecai’ star wore Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture.

Gwyneth looked elegant in a one-shouldered blush pink gown with an oversized rose detail on the shoulder. As usual, the actresses looked fantastic, but I wish she had opted for the more dramatic runway version of the gown, because she has the strong red carpet presence and fashion sense to pull it off.

Nevertheless, Gwyneth’s uber-feminine style was a breath of fresh spring-like air on the red carpet. And her super sleek hair and oversized berry-hued and diamond-encrusted drop earrings were a welcome dose of wow-factor.

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

TOM’S FAVOURITES
Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Saint Laurent – 2015 Grammy Awards

Gwyneth Paltrow In Saint Laurent - 2015 Grammy Awards

Gwyneth Paltrow was also at the 2015 Grammy Awards, hosted last night (February 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The actress and presenter may have bypassed the red carpet again, as at the Golden Globes, but she didn’t skip the red when it came to her leggy Saint Laurent mini dress.

Fully embellished in sequins, the high-octane, candy-apple-red Saint Laurent frock was a little firecracker of an ensemble.

But the same level of pizzazz was nowhere to be found with her messily styled strands and barely there makeup. This would have been the perfect occasion for a sleek new updo.

She generally ups her shoe game, yet here I would have preferred a sandal to those sexy Christian Louboutin ‘Miluna’ red suede and fishnet pointed-toe pumps. Do you agree?

Gwyneth Paltrow In Lanvin – ‘Mortdecai’ LA Premiere

Gwyneth Paltrow In Lanvin - 'Mortdecai' LA Premiere

Gwyneth Paltrow attended the premiere of ‘Mortdecai’ held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (January 21) in Hollywood, California, after deciding the skip the European leg of this promo tour.

The actress wore a Lanvin Spring 2015 stone-blue gown with many interesting features including a twisted back and a wide blue leather belt.

Unmistakably the colour is divine on Gwyneth, but my issue is the way the dress sat.

With just a little adjustment on the right-hand side, the look would’ve had a perfect streamlined effect instead gaping under the arm.

Styled with Lanvin soft blue python sandals with pearl details and David Webb jewels, this was almost perfect – despite the never-changing hairstyle.
