Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Jason Wu - 2014 BET Awards

Gugu Mbatha-Raw looked demure on the red carpet of the 2014 BET Awards yesterday at Nokia Plaza L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The actress wore a chic dress from Jason Wu’s Resort 2015 collection with white strappy Stuart Weitzman shoes, a Rauwolf clutch, Paige Novick earrings and ring, and a Derek Lam & Jamie Wolf for NYC Ballet ring.

The wholly monochromatic look is so chic and ladylike, and Gugu looks stunning.

A simple updo and subtle makeup are the perfect accents to this lovely look.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Martin Grant - 'Belle' London Premiere

Gugu Mbatha-Raw returned to the red carpet for the ‘Belle’ London premiere, hosted today (June 5) at BFI Southbank in England.

The British actress put her pins on display, skipping the gown route in favour of a Martin Grant Spring 2013 black playsuit that featured architectural folded detail and pleating.

The secret here was that she didn’t overwhelm the look with exaggerated styling, accessorizing with golden pendant earrings by Carolina Bucci, a few bangles and Christian Louboutin black lace stilettos.

The ensemble boasted a fun, flirty and chic vibe, all tied up into one fashionable package that Gugu wore quite well. Would you agree?

Burberry Hosts New Museum Artists Dinner

Burberry hosted a dinner party in honour of the New Museum Artists held at Lafayette in New York City on Wednesday (May 7) ahead of the third annual Frieze Art Fair.

Suki Waterhouse: The British model wore a soft-blue Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2014 sheer chiffon dress with a plunging neckline and slits in the skirt styled with nude Casadei platform pumps.

Dianna Agron: The ‘Glee’ star wore a navy and brown scoop-neck dress, but it’s her accessories which take centre stage. While not a fan of mixing metals, I do find her gold jewels and silver Burberry ‘Taylor’ sandals intriguing as much as the magenta lip colour. The clutch is a bit blah.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: This is the actress’s second Burberry Prorsum look in the last 5 days. On this occasion she wore a Fall 2014 loose-fit keyhole printed dress, adding a rare punchy pink lip plus patterned pumps and a gold clutch. I love the accessories as it would’ve been so easy to keep it simple with black pumps here.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Lanvin - 2014 Met Gala

Gugu Mbatha-Raw continued her love affair at the ‘Charles James: Beyond Fashion’ Costume Institute Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

Wearing a custom Alber Elbaz look for the second time in a row, the British beauty looked divine in her lustrous black and white abstract floral silk-jacquard tea-length strapless dress with matching ankle-strap pumps, a black python oval Lanvin clutch and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels.

Silver eye makeup, shimmering pink lips and a silver floral hair accessory completed her head-to-toe perfect look.

Gugu appears to be well on her way to becoming a major fashion player.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Lanvin - 'Belle' New York Premiere

Gugu Mbatha-Raw attended the ‘Belle’ premiere at The Paris Theatre on Monday (April 28) in New York City.

The British actress was the picture of modern elegance, wearing a custom Lanvin chartreuse-green draped silk gown with a twist-front neckline by Alber Elbaz.

Complete with Lanvin’s signature sensuality, this floor-length gown is a statement in itself with its shimmering tone.

Styled with gold Fred Leighton jewels and a sequin-embellished navy Roger Vivier ‘Cerniera’ clutch, the actress swept her hair up into a twisted updo, with soft makeup enhancing her eyes and full lips.
