Guggenheim International Gala Pre-Party Presented by Dior

Guggenheim International Gala Pre-Party Presented by Dior

Dior hosted the Guggenheim International Gala Pre-Party on Wednesday (November 5) in New York City, so of course it was a Dior-fest attended by many celebs, including their favourite girl.

Marion Cotillard: The French beauty wore a strapless black Dior Couture frock made interesting by its layered flared skirt and accessories which included a Dior silver clutch and dual-coloured pink and red pointy Dior Couture ankle boots.

Camilla Belle: Working an equally interesting silhouette in this rise-and-fall hemline dress, the actress wore a pretty pink Dior rose silk leather satin dress enriched with silver cascading embellishments, but it’s the accessories, especially those dual-colour pink and yellow Dior heels, and the Dior ‘Be Dior’ bag which have me going weak at the knees.

Zoe Kravitz: When we think of Dior, cool isn’t a word that instantly springs to mind, yet Zoe oozes just that in her Spring 2015 white and navy jacquard cotton suit. It’s so refreshing not to see her wearing all-black or Alexander Wang. The look was styled with Dior earrings, Dior shoes and a ‘Be Dior’ handbag.

Greta Gerwig In Prabal Gurung – ‘While We Were Young’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Greta Gerwig In Prabal Gurung - 'While We Were Young' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Greta Gerwig attended the ‘While We Were Young’ premiere, held during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (September 6) at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

The actress wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2015 dress, which had been modified from the edgier lookbook version, accessorized with a Michael Kors box clutch and black Jimmy Choo pumps.

The loudly abstract, metallic print and textural finish kept the feminine, girly silhouette of the frock from venturing too twee.

Perhaps this was the point, too, with the vampy heels, but I still wasn’t crazy about how they paired with this look.

Flirty waves and a rose-red lip were an effortless finish.

Greta Gerwig In Balenciaga – ‘The Humbling’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Greta Gerwig In Balenciaga - 'The Humbling' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Greta Gerwig attended the premiere of her film ‘The Humbling’ at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on September 4 in Toronto, Canada.

The actress chose to wear head-to-toe Balenciaga, and what a great choice it was.

The bright pink, sleeveless asymmetric dress was a real bright spot on the carpet, and I’m absolutely taken by it. It’s wholly unique, which is not-so-easy for such a simple dress, and the pocket and lines create a really fun fashion visual.

The ‘shoetties’ (a shoe-bootie hybrid) are also one of my favorite current footwear trends, and I really like the white and pink together.

A messy chignon and glowing pink cheeks and lips are a simple-but-sophisticated makeup pairing for this fashionable look.

Greta Gerwig In Zac Posen – 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards

Greta Gerwig In Zac Posen - 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards

Greta Gerwig attended the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on Monday (June 2) in New York City.

Looking very statuesque, the actress wore a Zac Posen Fall 2014 tangerine crepe gown featuring a bateau neckline, cropped overlay, obi-inspired fold-over detail at the waistband, and a short train.

There was a time when I was never too enamoured with Greta’s style but, following her fashion fail at ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ Berlin premiere, she has become quite the fashion darling, having hit after hit.

This is yet another homerun. Do you agree?

Greta Gerwig In Theory by Olivier Theyskens – 2014 Met Gala

Greta Gerwig In Theory by Olivier Theyskens - 2014 Met Gala

Greta Gerwig brought some drama to the red carpet for the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

She wore a custom Theory by Olivier Theyskens black and white tonal gown featuring an asymmetrical sheer yoke, a lined flutter sleeve and a rise-and-fall hemline.

It was one of my favourites of the night, on a night where going big and stepping out of your comfort zone should be the norm.

Wearing a high, tight bun, she styled her look with cat-eyes, red lips, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Sergio Rossi satin platform pumps.

J’adore from head to toe.
