Chanel Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Chanel presented their Fall 2014 Couture collection this morning in Paris, France during Haute Couture Fashion Week and as you would expect their front row was jam packed with celebs.

Kristen Stewart: Hmm… what can I say? The look had a lot of potential, but I can’t take those sheer Chanel Resort 2015 Aladdin pants seriously.

Jared Leto: The actor/musician stayed true to his rocker style wearing a printed white back-to-front tee with a light denim shirt and skinny tweed pants from Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

Lily Collins: The actress wore a casual printed knit sweater with a confetti red and silver Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 pencil skirt which provided an interesting contrast to the rest of her I’m-just-popping-to-the-mall look. A fringed Chanel bag and simple grey pumps completed the look

Who Wore Valentino Better Miroslava Duma or Golshifteh Farahani

Miroslava Duma wore this electric-blue Valentino wool dress with scalloped detailing when she took her front row seat during the Valentino Fall 2013 Couture show back in July.

Even with the pop of red to the lips, the overall styling was too sombre for my taste and by her standards.

Golshifteh Farahani gave this dress a second run out not long after while attending the photocall for the 2013 Venice Film Festival.

Her styling wasn’t great either, adding silver Roger Vivier Virgule ‘Comma’ pumps and a blue Roger Vivier bag, but it’s much preferred over Miroslava’s so Golshifteh wins for me.

Golshifteh Farahani In Valentino - Miuccia Prada Hosts Miu Miu Women's Tales Dinner

Golshifteh Farahani attended the Miu Miu Women’s Tales dinner hosted by Miuccia Prada at the Ca’ Corner in Venice, Italy yesterday evening.

The jury member turned to Valentino once again, wearing a colourful blue-black-and-white guipure-lace long-sleeved dress with a fitted body-skimming silhouette from the Fall 2013 collection.

Simple, elegant styling included gold earrings, a red lip shade and pointy pumps, with a chic updo providing the finishing touches to her look.

I’m glad to see once again that there is some polish to her look. It appears that the sloppy hair at the photocall was just a one-off.

Golshifteh Farahani In Valentino Couture - Venice Film Festival Opening Ceremony & ‘Gravity’ Premiere

Golshifteh Farahani attended the opening ceremony and ‘Gravity’ premiere during the 2013 Venice Film Festival at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy yesterday evening as one of the Orizzonti Jury members.

The Iranian actress she glided down the red carpet with a much-improved hairdo, wearing a black Pascal Millet strapless gown with a full skirt which she styled with a Jaeger-LeCoultre Vintage Duoplan watch, gold jewels and an orange Roger Vivier clutch.

I love the colour of the clutch against the black gown, but not the clutch itself. I wish she’d opted for something smaller, less overpowering, and daintier.

Golshifteh Farahani In Valentino - Orizzonti Jury Photocall 2013 Venice Film Festival

Golshifteh Farahani attended the Orizzonti Jury Photocall during the 70th Venice International Film Festival at the Palazzo del Casino in Venice, Italy this afternoon.

The Iranian-born actress wore a Valentino china-blue scallop-trimmed dress in a playful A-line silhouette.

Her accessories included a silver pendant necklace, light-blue Roger Vivier chain-accented shoulder bag and the same metallic-silver Roger Vivier Virgule ‘Comma’ pumps we’ve seen on Cate Blanchett.

The lack-lustre hair and necklace, which was not needed, is pulling this look down

You may remember that Miroslava Duma wore the same dress during Paris Couture Fashion Week.
