Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Ginnifer Goodwin showed off her new even shorter, more edgier boyish crop at the 13th Annual Costumer Designers Guild Awards in LA last night.

The “Something Borrowed” actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2010 dress.

Her two tone dress with a black satin top and gold metallic sculptural asymmetrical skirt was paired with black Jimmy Choo ‘Zafira’ platform sandal and a Jimmy Choo ‘Lana’clutch

I like the dress a lot on the runway, but I’m not sure about it on Ginnifer.

Maybe I’m thrown off the look with the new hairstyle or maybe I’m just not into this look on her.

It has more personality on the runway.

Ginnifer Goodwin attended the Children Awaiting Parents event presented by 2S Films last night in West Hollywood, California.

She looked stunning wearing a Monique Lhuillier cocktail dress with a beautiful multi-coloured brush stroke print.

Ginnifer could’ve opted for black pumps, but she added a pop of colour to her look via her red Raphael Young Habaki open toe metallic wedges with a black and white print wedge.

I always love her style choices. She’s consistently chic, sophisticated and interesting to watch.

I love that she’s not predictable.

Ginnifer Goodwin also added a splash of colour to the red carpet at HBO’s “Big Love” Season 5 LA Premiere last night.

I adore her pretty pink Valentino ‘Cady’ dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her cute long-sleeve dress with a keyhole neckline, tiered skirt and gold belt was contrasted with an edgy punk-like quiff hairstyle.

Brian Atwood ‘Drama’ pumps and tiny black clutch completed her look.

I’m so glad these girls got my ‘more colour on the red carpet’ memo.

There are still many more looks from the MOCA’s Annual Gala “The Artist’s Museum Happening”.

Kate Bosworth wore a black Chanel Spring 2011 dress with Chanel Fine jewelery.

She looks as elegant as ever. I love the floral sheer panels and the delicate flutter sleeves.

Kirstin Dunst wore a charming cream Chanel Resort 2011 dress.

I love the romantic cascading tiers on the neckline.

Her dress has such a light floaty feel to it which makes me wonder why she would add such a heavy clutch.

Bright red lips added a pop of colour.

Ginnifer Goodwin – as always – stands out for me.

The actress wore a Chanel Spring 2011 black lace dress with a pearl embroidered neckline.

Chanel accessories and black patent heels completed her look.

When it comes to red carpet dressing I would like to call myself a traditionalist.

Gowns should be worn to the Oscars and the Opera, but I have to admit I love that Chloe Sevigny and Ginnifer Goodwin broke the rules.

If anyone can get away with breaking the rules it these two.

At the Metropolitan Opera Gala Premiere of ‘Armida’ last night they both opted for black pants.

Chloe opted to style her wide legged jumpsuit as it appeared the YSL Fall 2010 runway with long black gloves and a long gold chain.

Her red lips added a touch of colour.

Ginnifer also opted for chunky gold jewelery to go with her black YSL Edition Soir 2010 bustier and tuxedo pants.

Her pop of colour came via her purple YSL clutch and matching strappy sandals.

Of the two Ginnifer is rockin’ my world.
