Gillian Jacobs In Batsheva – Batsheva Dinner Launch with MATCHESFASHION.COM

Natalie Kingham, Fashion and Buying Director of MATCHESFASHION.COM, and designer Batsheva Hay hosted an intimate cocktail with stylist Kate Young at Primo’s to celebrate the launch of the Fall Winter 2018 Batsheva collection, launching exclusively with MATCHESFASHION.COM.

Gillian Jacobs was in attendance wearing a Batsheva Fall 2018 print dress featuring contrast ruffles trims.

Oozing with vintage references with an unapologetically feminine aesthetic thanks to its demure silhouette, I love that Gillian attempted to modernized the look with her styling which included white clogs.

If you take an look through the collection you will see everything from prairie styles to ’70s boho dresses.

I have a feeling this collection will have the same cult following as The Vampire’s Wife.

As Kate Young was hosting this event, look forward to her clients Sienna Miller (this collection sits firmly in her wheelhouse), Natalie Portman (if they have a black look it will work for Natalie), Dakota Johnson (can see her in the high neck, long sleeve dresses), Rachel Weisz (can see her in the gingham dress), Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez and Michelle Williams (not sure this collection is right for Margot, Selena or Michelle, but let’s see how it goes).

Gillian Jacobs In Brock Collection – Netflix’s ‘Ibiza’ New York Premiere

Gillian Jacobs was at Netflix’s ‘Ibiza’ New York premiere on Monday (May 21).

The crisp silhouette of her Brock Collection Pre-Fall 2018 ensemble was enhanced with the dynamic design. It created a kaleidoscopic effect using a traditional floral print.

The delicate sandals and lighter belt complemented the ivory tones in the style perfectly and presented a much more cohesive finish that was appropriate for the season.

It was elegant and ebullient.

‘Life Of The Party’ World Premiere

The ‘Life Of The Party’ world premiere on Monday (April 30) in Opelika, Alabama had many lovely ladies in attendance.

Molly Gordon: The actress made a sweet statement in pleated Prada. Some might be reminded of Lupita Nyong’o’s gown from the 2014 Oscars given the pale blue colour and belted waist. With the embellished shoes and her raven mane, it’s a pretty look in its own right.

Gillian Jacobs: Elevating colourblocking, the actress’s Opening Ceremony Spring 2018 RTW dress had bands of speckled fabric. The tied waist was a unique interpretation of cutouts and enhanced the femininity of the frilled skirt. A Building Block bag and Nicholas Kirkwood sandals played into the dynamic colour palette.

Julie Bowen: Opting for rich colour, the ‘Modern Family’ actress was outfitted in Christian Siriano Fall 2018. The sleek silhouette exudes a confidence, but there’s something off about the proportions and placement of the asymmetrical hemline. Brian Atwood sandals brought some unexpected pattern.

‘I Feel Pretty’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Black was certainly the colour of the night at the ‘I Feel Pretty’ LA premiere on Tuesday (April 17). Lovely ladies clad in the inky shade joined Amy Schumer, Olivia Culpo and Busy Philipps.

Michelle Williams: Many probably won’t be surprised to see the actress wearing Louis Vuitton. What is surprising is the plunging neckline and lack of embellishment on the piece. Normally when she wears darker colours, there’s some whimsical detail to brighten it up. I’m missing her ethereal charm here because the belt isn’t doing enough. It feels very washed out.

Meghan Trainor: The singer put her own twist on the dark colour palette with flared trousers and a white crop top. I love her confidence in the ensemble and how she elevated the pieces to glamorous heights with her jewels and bob. The pants might be just a hair too long.

Refinery29 29Rooms Los Angeles: Turn It Into Art Opening Night

The Refinery29 ’29Rooms Los Angeles: Turn It Into Art’ opening night party saw a host of lovely ladies in attendance on Wednesday (December 6) in California.

Gabrielle Union: The ‘Being Mary Jane’ actress wore a TOME Fall 2017 bomber jacket and corseted shirt, plus some check trousers. I’m usually a big fan of Gabrielle’s style, but I couldn’t get on board with this look. I think the shirt is really the chink in her armor here.

Margot Robbie: With those power shoulders, it’s quite clear that Margot was paying homage to the 80s in this sleek Saint Laurent Spring 2018 look which she styled with Pierre Hardy ‘Laser’ pumps.

Janelle Monae: Did Janelle’s invite say come as art? That can be the only explanation for this Kaimin leather dress and Nange Magro // Dead Lotus Couture latex headpiece. You gotta admire her for committing to the look if nothing else.
