Gigi Hadid In Fendi – Out In Milan

When she wasn’t walking the Fendi and Alberta Ferretti runways during Milan Fashion Week, Gigi Hadid was spotted on the streets of Milan, Italy on Thursday (September 21).

You will likely be having déjà vu at the sight of her Fendi Resort 2018—not for the outfit, per se, but because it’s the third time we’ve seen this signature Fendi plaid.

Matilda de Angelis and Priyanka Chopra have both worn the mega-bright, highlighter-pink pieces in various forms.

However, I do like how casually Gigi offered up this outfit in her typical off-duty style, with the coat simply thrown across her shoulders over a white tank top and finished with her favoured Stuart Weitzman white booties.

Gigi Hadid’s NYFW Street Style

Much like Doutzen Kroes, model Gigi Hadid has also been out and about in New York City amidst the hustle and bustle of New York Fashion Week.

When she hasn’t been walking the runways the likes of Anna Sui, Prabal Gurung, and Jeremy Scott, she’s been spotted flaunting her own unique off-duty style.

First up, she donned a Tamuna Ingorokva Fall 2016 jumpsuit styled with Linda Farrow X Dries Van Noten sunglasses, Sanayi313 star-studded shoes, and one of her favoured Stalvey bags. This look reminded me of Doutzen’s The Row ensemble, as it may have been neutral in colour and simple in silhouette, but Gigi’s punchy styling kept it on the cool side—and far away from lacklustre territory.

While you might first notice the fringed Prada T-shirt and Paige Hoxton tight leather pants, there’s no doubt your gaze will quickly revert to the platform sneakers that could have easily been found in Lady Gaga’s closet. The same Linda Farrow X Dries Van Noten shades completed this ensemble that would have looked just as good with those Sanayi313 starry mules.

Introducing a bit of colour to the equation, Gigi brightened up her outlook in a bubblegum-pink 3.1 Phillip Lim sweater styled with a pair of girly embellished, cropped denim and Christian Louboutin ‘Boudiva’ glitter and velvet block heel mules. While the furry footwear may raise an eyebrow or two, I love how they reflected the playful personality that was packed into this look.

Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates ‘ICONS By Carine Roitfeld’

The list of lovelies at Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates ‘ICONS By Carine Roitfeld’ on Friday (September 8) in New York City was seemingly unending, as a number of stars joined Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, and Kim Kardashian.

Gigi Hadid: Her hyper-embellished Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2017 ensemble, styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, was so intricate and powerful of a statement that it really didn’t require the rhinestone clogs.

Kaia Gerber: Cindy Crawford’s model daughter was all grown up in a slinky Kristian Aadnevik Fall 2017 mini that had her looking like her mom more and more.

Kendall Jenner: There was little left to the imagination in this Dolce & Gabbana ruched, sheer number. Yet, ironically in spite of the see-through, I couldn’t help but still get a certain sophisticated, glam vibe with the look, which I will chalk up to its silhouette along with Kendall’s Old-Hollywood waves, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Jimmy Choo sandals.

Gigi Hadid keeps the pajamas alive in MARCH11

It’s fashion week, and while celebs are doing the most to stand out, Gigi Hadid is sticking to her favoured style: pajama-inspired separates.

As someone who’s been a fan of this trend; when done right, I have to say again I’m in love with this MARCH11 bell bottoms and a coordinating jacket slinky look.

From the bumblegum hue, to the tone-on-tone graphics the model certainly made a statement.

I especially love how she amped up the jewel-tones by styling her look with emerald Olgana Paris ‘L’Amazone’ jeweled satin heel and a matching bag.

Love it or leave it?

Gigi Hadid goes nude in Jonathan Simkhai & Manning Cartell

Gigi Hadid was spotted at the Victoria’s Secret offices in New York City on Monday (August 28), after announcing that she will be taking in part in the lingerie giant’s annual fashion show which will take place in Shanghai this year.

Looking pretty in nude, the model sported a crochet scallop-edge Jonathan Simkhai crop top teamed with matching Manning Cartell Fall 2017 cargo trousers and Stuart Weitzman ‘Mulearky’ satin mules.

There is a danger of looking washed out in an all nude look, but the peachy undertones prevent that in this case.

Some may find this one note, but for me it’s refreshing to see a celeb still dressing for the current season.

Gigi Hadid continues to vie for street style queen

I know that some haven’t started drinking the Gigi Hadid off-duty-style Kool-Aid, as her crop tops, PJs, and statement pants can be something of an acquired taste.

But I, for one, always look forward to what the model will wear next, as her street style always keeps us guessing what she’ll strut out next.

She didn’t disappoint this weekend, either, with two new attention-garnering looks in New York City.

Friday (July 28): I never thought I’d see the day where ‘Star Wars’ was not only geek but chic. However, the force was with this throwback, vintage T-shirt when paired with SemSem silk crepe, high-waisted pants with a flared leg that contributed to the retro spirit. Gigi has never met a pair of slides she didn’t like, and these Stuart Weitzman pimiento-red suede ‘Goto’ shoes were the perfect way to elongate the leg line despite their low heel.

Saturday (July 29)
: Combining two of the most adorable summer prints—floral and gingham—Gigi embraced a cute-chic sensibility in a Prada blouse and Miaou ‘Tommy’ cropped trousers with another pair of slides this time courtesy of Stella Luna. Keeping the blouse slightly untucked assured that the look stayed on the casual, I’m-just-threw-this-on side.
