Wimbledon Championships Style Roundup

The Wimbledon Championship came to a close with Angelique Kerber and Novak Djokovic taking home the top honours, but there should also be prizes handed out for the best dress attendees.

Luke Evans: We all know the Welsh actor is great style, but even that porn-stache won’t put me off loving this beautiful mix of summery hues courtesy Ralph Lauren Purple Label.

Emma Watson: Making a fedora a mainstay this weekend, the actress swapped Saturday’s Wimbledon whites for a sandy vintage Ralph Lauren linen shirt dress. It was the perfect breezy look to be seated for a three -set final. Her Olympia Le-Tan clutch provided an unexpected twist to the styling of this look. One that might not work for everyone.

Tom Holland: The actor was also suited and booted in Ralph Lauren. Do I wish he had opted to lighten up like Luke? Yes. But at the same time I am swoony at the suaveness of this entire look.

2018 BAFTA Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Black gowns dominated the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, but the red carpet was by no means boring with celebrities showing their support for the Time’s Up movement in a wide array of striking looks.

Letitia Wright: Showing a darker side of Gucci, the ‘Black Panther’ actress, who was one of the presenters on the night, looks charming in a belted dress. The bug-like embroidery perks up the black velvet base. Some have remarked how the brands looks sometimes suffer from too many details, but this one has the balance right.

Sally Hawkins: The Best Actress in a Leading Role nominee for ‘The Shape of Water’, shone in a Ralph & Russo gown. This is a more sensual look for her with the slashes in the bodice revealing a coquettish hint of skin. I wish she played into the theme more with romantic wavy hair.

Anya Taylor-Joy: Last year’s Rising Star Award nominee embraced the sexy glamour of Dolce & Gabbana in a black lace dress and golden crown. I can already hear the chants of people wishing the skirt was lined, and I must agree.

Moet British Independent Film Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Moet British Independent Film Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick look at a few more celebs who joined Carey Mulligan and Marion Cotillard for the 2015 British Independent Film Awards at Old Billingsgate Market on Sunday (December 6) in London, England.

Laura Carmichael: The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore a Christopher Kane dress with a trio of silhouettes which glow softly against this black sleeveless velvet mini dress. Styled with an Anya Hindmarch ‘Crisp Packet’ clutch and black sandals, I continue to be excited by Laura’s red carpet looks. Words I thought I would never say a year ago. You may remember that Rowan Blanchard wore this to a Teen Vogue event.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up contemporary elegance wearing a Roland Mouret gown which I love for the impeccably tailoring and bright blue hue.

Alicia Vikander: The actress wore a beautiful custom Louis Vuitton crystal accented gown styled with LV sandals and a Fine Jewelry ring. Such a shame about the lacklustre makeup.

Gemma Chan In Dolce & Gabbana - ‘The Bad Education Movie’ London Premiere

Gemma Chan joined boyfriend Jack Whitehall for the world premiere of his movie ‘The Bad Education Movie’ at the Vue West End on Thursday (August 20) in London, England.

The actress wore a wonderfully summery Dolce & Gabbana dress printed with romantic roses.

Usually the Italian designers favour a more hourglass silhouette but this shirt-style dress possesses plenty of swing ’60s style.

I love how Gemma accentuate the red roses on her dress by styling her look with red Dolce & Gabbana accessories.

2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour Woman of The Year Awards

There were many more lovely ladies besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington who attended the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up visual splendour wearing an Mary Katrantzou’s intricately printed ‘Cassandra’ dress. I’m glad she kept the spirit of this look alive with a moss-green clutch.

Gillian Anderson: There was a distinct lack of drama at this event, so up stepped Gillian Anderson wearing a nude caped gown by Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian. Some might find this a touch dated, but I’m too busy diverting my eyes away from the upper mid section.

Louise Redknapp: The British presenter usually finds herself at near the top of the my best dressed list, but that wasn’t to be the case on this occasion. While I loved the gorgeous cobalt-blue hue and her breakaway from the expected, this Proenza Schouler basket weave fringe dress fails to flatter, plus her pumps were really dull. The only plus side was the complementary Bottega Veneta clutch.
