Gabrielle Union In Prabal Gurung – 2018 Met Gala

Gabrielle Union never met a bold hue she didn’t love—or wear—so I wasn’t surprised to see her flaunt this sunny-yellow shade at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

I’m sure some will see this Prabal Gurung gown as marching slightly askance of the night’s theme, even if the long train did echo what I’m sure will be an ongoing train trend tonight.

Regardless, it made for a powerful statement, with the dangerously high slit putting seductive new meaning into “Sunday best.”

Front Row @ Prada Resort 2019

So many pretties (and a few handsome lads, too) were at the Prada Resort 2019 presentation on Friday (May 4) in New York City. The fashion house’s quirky, colourful sensibilities made for quite the eclectic front row.

Lily Collins: Grunge met girly in this Prada Fall 2018 look that threw caution to the wind when it came to tradition. Tube top aside, the schoolgirl pleats and socks took on a punky spirit with the skirt’s techy, polyurethane-like overlay and tall platform shoes. The lilac eye shadow and fashion-face clutch looked like they belonged to another outfit—but it was all a part of the funky charms.

Poppy Delevingne: I don’t think this hot-pink hue of this chiffon and sequin Prada Fall 2018 frock could have gotten any hotter. But, Poppy wasn’t about to have a customary pretty-in-pink moment, as she added the edgy-goth oxblood lip and black heels to dramatize the effect.

Dianna Agron: Even though there was a lot going on with this dimensionally embellished, neon-floral-studded Prada Fall 2018 design, I didn’t find the chiffon-coated dress overbearing. I love how she let the frock be front and centre by keeping her styling on the basic side. The one bold slick of the coral lip was the perfect finish.

Gabrielle Union In Brock Collection – VH1’s 3rd Annual ‘Dear Mama: A Love Letter To Moms’ Screening

Gabrielle Union and her mother attended VH1’s 3rd annual ‘Dear Mama: A Love Letter To Moms’ screening on Thursday (May 3) in Los Angeles, California, ahead of Mother’s Day, which is held in the US on the second Sunday in May, which will be May 13.

Unlike Jennifer Lawrence who opted to break up the layering of her Brock Collection Spring 2018 dress, Gabrielle made a change by wearing her look off the shoulder.

Elegant and feminine with a floral print of the dress adding to the romantic mood, I’m sure many prefer this over her Marc Jacobs look from earlier in the week.

Gabrielle Union In Marc Jacobs – ‘Breaking In’ LA Screening

Gabrielle Union made a jaw-dropping appearance at the screening of ‘Breaking In’ on Tuesday (May 1) in Hollywood, California.

You guys have made your feelings very clear about Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2018 collection.  Zendaya Coleman and even supermodel Erin Wasson couldn’t sell their looks to you, so Gabrielle is hoping not to fall into a trio failed attempts.

Some might argue that Gabrielle is perhaps a tad too short for this look, or that the proportions are off, but I’m loving the colours, the boldness and courage to do something different and mostly the total commitment to the look.

Gabrielle Union In Peter Pilotto – ‘Breaking In’ Meet-And-Greet

On Monday (April 30) Gabrielle Union took joined a group of badass ladies who took a self defense course with ‘Breaking In’ film stunt coordinator Tim Connolly in LA.

Gabrielle was an observer on this occasion, looking very chic wearing a Peter Pilotto Fall 2017 smock dress.

While the look might have a feeling of loungewear, the colour-blocking and bright pink thread adds definition and contemporary attention-to-detail.

Factor in those saffron sandals and her mint green pedicure, and this is not a look that is likely to send you to sleep.
