Gabrielle Union In Brandon Maxwell – 11th Annual Night of Opportunity

Gabrielle Union sizzled at the 11th Annual Night of Opportunity on Monday (April 9) in New York City.

The actress donned a Brandon Maxwell Fall 2018 dress which enhanced her figure with its graceful halter top and softly gathered waist.

The ensemble might not have had all the bells and whistles of a dramatic red carpet look, but it was a beautiful turn proving that simplicity can be best.

Chopard jewels and black Stella Luna sandals completed the understated style.

Gabrielle Union In Prada – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Gabrielle Union was at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

I wouldn’t have looked twice at this Prada column gown had it not been for her more dynamic styling components.

The sculptural, low updo added sleek sophistication, with her sparkling accessories enhancing the dress’s embellishment.

As for those accessories, they included Harry Kotlar diamond stud earrings, a Hearts On Fire diamond bracelet, a DVANI black diamond and pave ring, and a Narcisa Pheres diamond ring.

Gabrielle Union In Valentino – Piaget Celebrates Independent Film with The Art of Elysium

Piaget celebrated Independent Film with The Art of Elysium on Friday (March 2) in Los Angeles, California with Gabrielle Union.

Her free-spirited Valentino Spring 2018 has an ease about it that feels both refreshing and bold, with the taupe colour looking so buttery against her skin.

I love that even when the ‘Being Mary Jane’ actress goes down a boho, romantic route, it still has an edge.

Gabrielle Union In Off-White & Sergio Hudson – NBA All-Star Game

In addition to Beyonce Knowles, Gabrielle Union was also seen courtside at NBA All-Star Game on Sunday (February 18) in LA.

As with Bey, I longed to see this look whilst she was standing.

But, using my imagination, I fear that the feathered Brother Vellies sandals may have lent a more boudoir, powder-room robe vibe to her long white Sergio Hudson Fall 2017 velvet coat.

She donned an Off White dress underneath, with an FW & Style bag and Mateo jewelry to complete the look.

Did the whimsical shoes likewise strike you as an odd choice for the occasion?

Refinery29 29Rooms Los Angeles: Turn It Into Art Opening Night

The Refinery29 ’29Rooms Los Angeles: Turn It Into Art’ opening night party saw a host of lovely ladies in attendance on Wednesday (December 6) in California.

Gabrielle Union: The ‘Being Mary Jane’ actress wore a TOME Fall 2017 bomber jacket and corseted shirt, plus some check trousers. I’m usually a big fan of Gabrielle’s style, but I couldn’t get on board with this look. I think the shirt is really the chink in her armor here.

Margot Robbie: With those power shoulders, it’s quite clear that Margot was paying homage to the 80s in this sleek Saint Laurent Spring 2018 look which she styled with Pierre Hardy ‘Laser’ pumps.

Janelle Monae: Did Janelle’s invite say come as art? That can be the only explanation for this Kaimin leather dress and Nange Magro // Dead Lotus Couture latex headpiece. You gotta admire her for committing to the look if nothing else.

Gabrielle Union In Dion Lee – 2017 Inspire A Difference Honors Event

Gabrielle Union attended the 2017 Inspire A Difference Honors event, representing The Rape Foundation, on Thursday (November 2) in New York City.

The actress, activist and author is never afraid to serve up the unexpected from time to time.

On this occasion she worked a mannish suit from Dion Lee’s Resort 2018 collection.

I love this look for its supremely modern interpretation of traditional tailoring; nodding to the classic with several intriguing elements.

While she totally sells the androgynous nature of the look to me; rounded things out with marbled pumps.

Gabrielle Union In Victoria Beckham – ‘We’re Going To Need More Wine’ Book Presentation

Gabrielle Union presented her new book ‘We’re Going To Need More Wine’ at Barnes & Noble at The Grove on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress/author donned a juicy raspberry hued dress from Victoria Beckham’s Fall 2017 collection, which deceptively looks like a two-piece outfit; featuring an open-back.

Gabrielle is known for cutting edge style, so I love how the flouncy tiers of ruffles softly romantise the look, however, the look is then toughened up with the open toe shoes.

You won’t be surprised to learn that Victoria Beckham was the first to wear this look.
