Red Carpet Fashion Awards

After her interview on the ‘Today’ show, Freida Pinto’s next stop on the promo tour for her movie ‘Trishna’ was ‘Access Hollywood Live’ in New York City.

Opting for the same Roger Vivier accessories and Tory Burch sunglasses, the Indian actress wore a Tory Burch Resort 2013 dress.

Her magenta flats worked perfectly on this occasion with her floral-print dress which has been shortened from the version in the lookbook.

Following her appearance on the ‘Today’ show, Freida was spotted leaving the NBC studios in New York City wearing a Mara Hoffman dress.

She styled her ‘Huipil’ print faux wrap backless dress with the same navy collarless blazer, Roger Vivier magenta ballet pumps and Tory Burch cat-eye rounded sunglasses.

I am obsessed with this tribal print and the vibrant colours.

This is one of my favourite looks from Freida’s promo tour of her new movie, ‘Trishna’.

Yesterday was a very busy day for Freida Pinto, who was doing the rounds promoting her new movie ‘Trishna’ in New York City.

She started her day wearing her second Rachel Roy Resort 2013 dress in a row on NBC’s ‘Today’ show.

I love the chic navy tailor blazer she paired with her citrus-lemon silk-jacquard fit-and-flare dress with triangle pleats.

Freida’s accessories, which included magenta Roger Vivier ‘Papillion’ suede ballet flats, a beautiful multi-coloured Roger Vivier ‘Micro Metro’ cross-body chain-accented bag and grey Tory Burch rounded cat-eye sunglasses, really sell the look to me.

The Indian beauty completed her look with a sleek ponytail and deep-coral lip colour.

Remember how we all loved Freida Pinto during Cannes Film Festival, but couldn’t take her footwear choices? Well it looks like the issue reappeared over the last two outings.

Yesterday evening the Indian actress attended another screening of ‘Trishna’, this time in New York City.

Freida looked lovely wearing a Rachel Roy Resort 2013 moon-stone crystallized scalloped dress, but her Brian Atwood ‘Zenith Lux’ black pumps don’t work at all.

What baffles the most is that her light-coloured dress with silver accents is styled with dark, heavy suede pumps with gold accents on the heels.

The dress and shoes couldn’t be more disconnected.

Simple styling, flawless makeup and Harry Winston jewels completed the look.

Yay or nay?

Frieda Pinto hit the red carpet at the SilverScreen Theater at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood to promote her movie ‘Trishna’ ten months after first promoting it at the Toronto Film Festival.

I love her Raoul Pre-Fall 2012 red dress. It’s playful with a chic retro vibe to it.

Her high-neck dress with faux pocket was styled with a simple pair of beige Roger Vivier pumps.

Whilst I like her shoe choice, I wish she had opted for a different colour.

Freida Pinto has been a long-time devotee to Ferragamo, so her appearance at the brand’s Resort 2013 presentation at the Louvre in Paris yesterday afternoon wasn’t a surprise.

She wore the Ferragamo recently during Cannes, she wears their accessories nearly all the time, plus she attended the Resort 2012 presentation in New York last year.

On this occasion she wore a Fall 2012 black embroidered dress with sheer sleeves and a velvet neckline.

With her hair pulled back into a simple bun, she styled the look with Ferragamo accessories plus silver ball-drop earrings.

The only pop of colour came via her lip colour.

She was the best dressed at this event after Hilary Swank.
