Freida Pinto In Versace – 2012 Cannes Film Festival Opening Night Dinner

Freida Pinto was the only other star who changed into a second look for the Cannes Film Festival opening night dinner on Wednesday evening following the ceremony.

The beautiful Indian actress wore a striking black sequin Versace gown with a thigh-high split, a sheer neckline and long sleeves.

I am getting a very big ‘Black Swan’ vibe from this gown, which Freida pulls off well.

The only downside to this look is the black pumps, which feel a bit too heavy for the look.

I do however lover the pop of pink via her lip colour.

Between Freida, Eva Longoria, Nicole Scherzinger, Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart, we’ve seen a number of interesting detailed black gowns on the red carpet this week.

Freida Pinto In Michael Angel – ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Some of you were feeling a sense of déjà vu when Eva Longoria stepped out onto the red carpet for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ premiere this evening.

The same can’t be said for Freida Pinto’s Michael Angel look, because it was totally fresh and original.

Her strapless dress with a multi-coloured crystallized bodice and pink draped skirt with a thigh-high split is one-of-a-kind.

The look was which is accented with a silver waistband and styled with bejeweled Louis Vuitton lizard miniaudiere which complemented the bodice of her dress plus shimmering silver Louis Vuitton platform sandals is stunning.

I have a feeling this might be a Marmite dress, but I think this is one of Freida best ever looks.

A sweeping updo and Chopard jewels provided the finishing touches.

Diane Kruger In Anthropologie & Freida Pinto Arrive At Nice Airport For Cannes

Nice airport will be seeing a lot of activity over the next few days as celebs will be arriving from all over the world for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

Diane Kruger, who is on the jury this year, arrived looking very fresh wearing a black Anthropologie corded crossback jumpsuit with gold detailing.

She accessorized with grey shoes, a Chloé ‘Elsie’ bag and a straw hat.

A perfect look for the French Riviera if I ever saw one.

I am also very excited about Freida Pinto’s arrival.

As the face of L’Oreal since 2009, we will finally get to see her on the red carpet during Cannes.

Filming commitments have prevented her attending previous festivals.

Freida Pinto In Gucci – ‘Trishna’ New York Premiere

Freida Pinto opted for a more masculine approach to red-carpet dressing for the premiere of her latest film ‘Trishna’ on Friday night in New York City during the Tribeca Film Festival.

The Indian beauty wore a chic Gucci Pre-Fall 2012 suit.

Her raspberry single-breasted suit was styled with a black silk-chiffon blouse and a black leather belt also from Gucci.

I love that she kept the black-and-gold butterfly pin detail which was complemented with a black-and-gold striped Fendi beaded baguette.

A bright-pink lip colour, a bun with side-swept bangs, and simple black Gucci pumps completed her look.

It not often we see Freida taking a risk on the red carpet, but this bold suit is a BDOTW contender in my eyes.

Freida Pinto In Prada – NYLON Magazine 13th Anniversary Celebration

Freida Pinto was at the Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening for Nylon Magazine‘s 13th Anniversary Celebration.

The Indian beauty opted for a very summery look from the Prada Spring 2012 collection.

It’s nice to see a star embrace the current season for a change.

Her head-to-toe Prada look included a colour-block sleeveless knit sweater with a sateen skirt adorned with a racing car motif.

Freida accessorized with ivory vernice pumps with metal spiked heels, a turquise ring and a cute teal blue Prada clutch with yellow trims and a white bow.

Sweeping locks, a gorgeous smile and glossy lips completed this look.

Freida Pinto In YSL – Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Men And Women 2012

Freida Pinto was at the Mandarin Oriental Ballroom in New York City yesterday attending the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Men and Women event with Rose Byrne and Datoka Fanning.

The Indian beauty wore a YSL Edition Soir look which featured a black embroidered bustier and an electric blue skirt.
