Freida Pinto In L.K. Bennett – The Lorraine Show

Following a disappointing end to the week for Freida Pinto, she was back on top form promoting ‘Guerilla’ on the Lorraine Show yesterday (April 16).

Stripes will never go out of fashion, the key is to keep them up-to-date which Freida has done here by opting for bold, graphic mismatched stripes which we saw on the runway at Missoni and Stella McCartney.

The look, which features a pleated L.K. Bennett skirt, feels so fresh and current for the season.

I love how the white belt as adds a retro twist with the nude pumps allowing everything above the ankles to shine.

This might be my favourite look so far.

Frieda Pinto In Temperley London – ‘Guerrilla’ London Premiere

Freida Pinto’s ‘Guerrilla’ promo tour headed to London on Thursday (April 6), after many jaunts in New York City.

So far Freida has showcased a love for colour and prints, which I have really admired, however, I couldn’t get on board with Freida latest look from Temperley London’s Fall 2017 collection.

Why?

There is just way too much going on.

For a start I wish she opted to go sans jacket. But then when I look at the skirt, I think the jacket attempts to mask the odd silhouette the skirt would have given her since it sits so far up her waist.

All in all its a disappointing way for Freida to end the week.

Freida Pinto In Diane von Furstenberg & Temperley London – The Today Show & SiriusXM

Freida Pinto continued making the rounds as part of her ‘Guerrilla’ promo tour, with stops by ‘The Today Show’ and SiriusXM Studios on Tuesday (April 4) in New York City.

The Today Show: I was immediately drawn to the brilliant combination of colour and print in this Diane von Furstenberg Pre-Fall 2017 form-fitting design. The additional kaleidoscope hues by way of the heels wasn’t exactly necessary, though, as the dress was powerful enough. But I do appreciate her willingness to colour outside the lines and go beyond a basic black pump.

SiriusXM: With a completely different outlook on pattern, this Temperley London Spring 2017 frock featured a youthfully summery, folk-inspired mood with a pretty palette of shades. I did find myself missing the artfully spirited mix of textures between the embroidered top and woven skirt seen on the runway, which gave the look its style-forward, cool-girl edge.

Freida Pinto In Amanda Wakeley – UCLA IoES Annual Gala

Freida Pinto joined Lyndsy Fonseca for UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability’s annual gala on Monday (March 13) in Beverly Hills.

To celebrate the planet, the actress wore a sky-blue Amanda Wakeley dress paired with Rupert Sanderson midnight-navy pumps.

Her beautiful, warm makeup brought a radiance to the cooler tones of the look.

I do wish the fit of the dress had been slightly more streamlined for Freida.

Freida Pinto In Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna & Elie Saab – 2017 Oscar Parties

Freida Pinto’s pre-Oscars looks at the Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party and the Film Independent Spirit Awards has us worried, but things took a better turn for the Oscar parties on Sunday (February 26).

Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards Viewing Party: The Indian actress started her night wearing a Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna embellished gown. I love the pop of colour via the fringed Corto Moltedo clutch and the sassy sandals. This made me breath a sign of relief that she’s back on the right track.

Vanity Fair Oscar Party: The good times continued to roll with this Elie Saab gown. The dolphin-blue hue is breath-taking, the slit was tantalising and the accessories including Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals, added a golden touch.

Was this a return to form for Freida? Or are you still not impressed with her current red carpet style?

Freida Pinto In Uel Camilo – 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Freida Pinoto attended the 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Santa Monica, California.

My first reaction to her look was, “this ain’t your style”.

The yellow hue of this Uel Camilo lace gown is gorgeous on Freida, but I can’t help but feel disappointed she went down the much worn “sheer gown” path.

At this stage of awards season I like to be wowed, not fatigued.

Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Penelope’ pearl sandals, an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and Harry Kotlar canary diamonds earrings completed her look.
