Florence Welch and her band Florence + the Machine kick-start their ‘Ceremonials’ tour this evening in Boston, US, which will see them visit North America, then Europe.
For the second year in a row, Gucci will provide their number one girl with stunning gowns to wear on stage from the Fall/Winter collection designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini.
Giannini said, “Seeing Florence evolve as an artist since her last tour has been truly inspiring, and I was delighted to work with her on this new wardrobe. For her on-stage style, we wanted to create a romantic yet modern aesthetic for Florence to interpret with her dark glamour and dramatic sensuality. I am looking forward to the show as Florence always puts an enchanting energy into every performance.”
Welch added, “I was immediately drawn to the drama of the collection when I first saw it on the runway. I am so grateful to Frida and feel very fortunate to be collaborating with Gucci once again.”
