Coachella Music Festival 2012

Here is a round up some of the celebrity looks from Coachella Music Festival this weekend.

Katy Perry: The singer has finally ditched the blue hair, this time in favour of purple locks. How she still has a full head of hair I will never know. Her Ashish v-neck dress was embellished with a garden of sequined red roses. A Coach crossbody red bag, torn tights and black creepers completed her look. What do you think of the purple hair? I think it’s more workable than blue.

Fergie: The Black Eyed Peas singer is another star who managed to hit all the right style notes with her laidback, effortless festival chic look. Sporting neutral colours she wore a beige maxi dress with a sand fringed vest.. Ankle boots, shades and a beige shoulder bag completed her look. She managed to pick selection of complementary accessories without overwhelming her look. Note to Vanessa Hudgens.

Florence Welch: The one person who was bound to get the dress code oh so right at this event was Florence. This hippie, boho style of dressing is basically her true off-duty style. She wore a Vilshenko Spring 2012 floaty maxi dress which is part paisley print and part floral with a v-neckline. The unexpected addition to her earthy look was a Dolce & Gabbana metallic woven raffia bag.

Fergie In Givenchy – Fergie’s Birthday Party

Fergie celebrated her 37th birthday at 1 Oak Nightclub on Friday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She wore a Givenchy Resort 2012 multi-coloured jersey dress with a birds of paradise and iris flower print.

The singer accessorized her vibrant dress with a small black clutch and pointed black pumps from her own shoe collection.

Voluminous wavy blonde locks and a nude lip colour completed her look.

It’s a shame that no one told the birthday girl that La La Anthony had worn the same dress the week before.

Fergie In Jean Paul Gaultier Couture – 2012 Grammy Awards

Fergie left little to the imagination at the 2012 Grammy Awards which were held in LA tonight.

The singer wore a sheer lace Jean Paul Gaultier Couture Spring 2012 gown which was shown in Paris just two weeks ago.

The always-bold Fergie didn’t opt to line the orange-lace gown, as many celebrities would have done; instead she wore the gown as presented on the runway with a black bra and panties to replace the runway thong.

When asked by Ryan Seacrest how she prepared for such a dress, Fergie admitted to trying out a juice cleanse.

Based on tonight’s look we can see that it’s working.

An embellished Judith Leiber clutch and gold Neil Lane jewelry, including a cuff and large hooped earrings, provided the finishing touches.

Many will despise this look, but this is the Grammys.

Fergie In Nicolas Jebran – 1 Oak NYE Grand Opening Party

Fergie had a busy NYE as she hosted the grand opening party at 1 Oak nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday night.

On this occasion the singer opted for a typically sexy Fergie look by wearing a Nicolas Jebran dress.

Her fitted gold tiled strapless dress from the designer’s Fall 2011 collection was teamed with a gold clutch and GIO DIEV gold and silver mirrored leather sandals with an asymmetrical cuff detail.

This look is very expected from Fergie. I prefer her Christian Siriano dress.

Fergie In Christian Siriano – ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve’

Fergie was one of the many guest stars to take to the stage for ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve’ with Ryan Seacrest.

The singer donned a Christian Siriano Fall 2011 gown.

Most of the detail is lost on Fergie, but you can see from the runway that the green one shoulder fitted dress has a black sheer overlay and a ruffle detail cascading around the skirt.

She opted to sweep her blonde locks over one shoulder, with black shoes and flawless neutral makeup completing her look.
