Felicity Jones In Christian Dior - 2013 Variety Screening Series 'The Invisible Woman'

Felicity Jones attended the 2013 Variety Screening Series of ‘The Invisible Woman’ at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California on Tuesday.

While she may have made a breathtaking entrance in this black Christian Dior dress a few months back, I’m not sure I feel the same way about the current Dior LBD at hand. The real problem is that between the lack of colour, overly boxy silhouette, and exaggerated seams, there’s nothing truly exciting to see here.

A navy Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch and black cap-toe pumps, along with barely-there makeup and a simple updo, completed the look.

Do you think she nailed the minimalist-chic thing, or is it just kind of boring?

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior - 'The Invisible Woman' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Felicity Jones attended ‘The Invisible Woman’ premiere during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival held at The Elgin in Toronto, Canada yesterday evening.

The actress looked breathtaking wearing a Christian Dior black strapless fit-and-flare dress with a bustle at the rear which she styled simply with diamond earrings, black pumps and a Rauwolf gemstone clutch.

Barely there makeup – save for cat-eyes to accentuate her green eyes – and a slicked-back bun completed her movie star look.

I know I go on about how I’m not a fan of black, but this is my favourite look from her so far during this festival.

She totally nailed it from head to toe.

Felicity Jones In Erdem - Variety Studio At Holt Renfrew

Following her double black-and-white Viktor & Rolf looks from the weekend, Felicity Jones opted for a touch of colour while attending the Variety Studio event at Holt Renfrew during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday in Toronto, Canada.

The British actress wore an Erdem Resort 2014 dress.

Erdem Moralioglu has a knack for updating his florals each season, and this dress is a perfect testament to that as the florals are spars just outlining the dress, with colour-block stripes dominating this frock.

Felicity styled her pocketed dress with ruffled shoulders with a pair of grey Casadei ‘Rodio Steelix’ pumps, which are fast becoming a celebrity favourite much like the brand’s beloved ‘Blade’ pumps.

Felicity Jones In Viktor & Rolf - 'The Invisible Woman' Toronto Film Festival Press Conference & Premiere

Felicity Jones was also at the Toronto International Film Festival in support of her film, ‘The Invisible Woman,’ where she was spotted in two monochromatic Viktor & Rolf Resort 2014 looks on Saturday.

Press Conference: The British actress attended the press conference at TIFF Bell Lightbox in an architectural bow-accented white top and black pants, complemented by black Jimmy Choo ‘Lilt’ pumps, a casual, loose updo and barely any jewellery, just an EF Collection diamond arrow bangle. We saw a similar ensemble on Dakota Fanning earlier this month.

Premiere: Switching from her more mannish approach to a structured LBD, Felicity’s black wool tuxedo dress featured a similar satin trim and bow detailing previously seen on her white top. More formal, black ankle-strap sandals and a satin clutch, along with a sleeker updo, completed the likewise minimally jewelled look with just an EF Collection diamond bar ring in white gold.

She definitely wins points for consistency of her two entrances.

Felicity Jones In Proenza Schouler - ‘Breathe In’ Edinburgh Film Festival Opening Gala Screening

Felicity Jones attended the opening night gala screening of ‘Breathe In’ during the Edinburgh Film Festival yesterday evening.

The British actress wore a Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2013 black-trimmed boucle-jacquard dress with a square-cut neckline, which is feminine yet fashion forward.

She chose to keep the styling minimal, opting for a leather belt and patent-leather pumps, and with just a hint of pink applied to her lips, she completed her look with kohl-rimmed eyes and sleek straight raven locks.

You may remember that Miranda Kerr wore this same dress to the CFDA Fashion Awards earlier this month and Freida Pinto wore the volcanic version of this same dress earlier this year.

The Bling Ring LA Premiere

‘The Bling Ring’ LA premiere, held at the Directors Guild Theater in California, was hosted by Louis Vuitton and Vanity Fair on Tuesday evening.

While Emma Watson didn’t wearing Louis Vuitton, many of the other attendees did.

Sofia Coppola: The director, who is very much an LV devotee, was oozing sophistication wearing an LV Pre-Fall 2013 look which featured a patterned metallic-gold bow-accented jacket, black pants and a white shirt styled with black-and-gold wedges and an LV clutch.

Haley Bennett: Of the LV crew, following Sofia, Haley was my favourite. She wore a caramel-coloured tweed LV Fall 2013 dress with nude Chantilly lace trims. Her sensual styling perfects the look with a soft wavy faux bob, hot-pink lips and complementary accessories including LV sandals, clutch and Jacquie Aiche jewels.

Chloe Sevigny: The indie actress wore a pale-pink Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall dress with a black lace panel. I’m not sure why she travelled with the oversized blazer to the event, because she ended up just dragging it on the floor behind her the whole time; at first I thought it was the train on her mullet dress. This is what happens when you wear Fall clothes during the summer months.

Met Gala 2013

Here is a roundup of the rest of the ladies who took to the red carpet for the 2013 Met Gala on Monday evening. Models @ The Met post will follow.

Brooklyn Decker: The actress wore a custom Peter Pilotto look inspired by the Spring 2013 collection. While the look is custom I feel like I have seen this look several times before, so there is nothing fresh or new about it, unlike other custom looks as showcased by Karolina Kurkova and several others. Her Sergio Rossi ‘Hypnos’ sandals, however, are a work of art.

Alicia Keys: The singer took to the red carpet wearing a custom Jason Wu gown. Her black leather and bordeaux sequin embroidered halter gown is beautiful, but I wish Alicia had pushed the punk vibe with the styling a bit more; the red streaks in her hair aren’t enough for me, especially when we know Alicia isn’t afraid of taking a fashion risk. Robert Lee Morris jewels and a vintage clutch completed her look.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: The actress wore a beautiful custom Calvin Klein scarlet gown for the occasion which was punked up as far as she would go with a studded choker and a Tod’s black studded clutch with a gold frame. While I do love this look, I wish Maggie had gone bra shopping before this event.
