Felicity Jones In Saint Laurent – 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Felicity Jones In Saint Laurent - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Felicity Jones was also at the 2015 Vanity Fair Party hosted by Graydon Carter at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Wearing significantly less fabric than on the Oscars red carpet, the actress said goodbye to the over-the-top ballgown and hello to a far trimmer silhouette.

Her Saint Laurent black column gown was sleek and chic—and a complete transformation from her earlier look.

This look sees Felicity at her best—in an effortlessly sophisticated statement that doesn’t look like a workout to walk two steps in.

The gigantic, doorknocker emerald earrings miraculously don’t even bother me with the embellished turtleneck—after all, she had to bring the big and bold somewhere.

Felicity Jones In Alexander McQueen – 2015 Oscars

Felicity Jones In Alexander McQueen - 2015 Oscars

Felicity Jones attended the 2015 Oscars, hosted at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 22) in Hollywood, California.

Having her own princess-charming moment, ‘The Theory of Everything’ actress and nominee donned an Alexander McQueen dove-grey ball gown.

The dress can only be described as a fairy tale with its structured, pearl-embellished bodice matched by the billowing folds of the pleated, satiny skirt.

An updo and naturally radiant makeup was the only way to go for such a statement ensemble.

She’s previously shown affection for selecting bold, if not hyper-voluminous silhouettes, and I love that she unapologetically and successfully carries off the extravagance of such a look.

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior Couture – 2015 BAFTAs

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior Couture - 2014 BAFTAs

Felicity Jones attended the 2015 BAFTAs held at The Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 8) in London, England.

Engulfed with goosebumps, it’s safe to say that I simple adored this Christian Dior Spring 2013 couture, black silk top and embroidered pale pink silk gown.

This is the graceful Felicity Jones I know and love.

Elegant and refined while balancing the fine line between classic and modern, she was in the Top 2 of my favourites tonight.

Awards season had been well below par this year without one single look on my BDOTY list. That ended tonight.

An eagle-eyed reader has pointed out that this gown has been worn once before by Carice van Houten.

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior Couture – EE British Academy Awards Nominees Party

Felicity Jones In Christian Dior Couture - EE British Academy Awards Nominees Party

Felicity Jones attended the EE British Academy Awards nominee’s party at Kensington Palace on February 7, 2015 in London, England.

Following her previous experimental look at the Oscar’s nomination brunch, Felicity reverted back to a tried and true, opting for a black Christian Dior Fall 2012 Couture wool crepe tuxedo dress.

As you know black and Felicity Jones doesn’t always fill me with much glee (remember the Dolce?), but on this occasion I would be a fool not to admire the immaculately tailored finish, grace and sophistication that this look possesses.

Designed with an easy sensibility, this minimalist tuxedo dress was styled with a diamond brooch pined to a lapel, Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Mirage’ pumps, and a Charlotte Olympia clutch to give this sartorial piece a decidedly fashion-forward flourish.

J’adore from head to toe. This is one of my favourite looks from Felicity so far this awards season.

Felicity Jones In Prada – AARP The Magazine’s 14th Annual Movies For Grownups Awards Gala

Felicity Jones In Prada - AARP The Magazine's 14th Annual Movies For Grownups Awards Gala

Felicity Jones attended the AARP The Magazine’s 14th Annual Movies For Grownups Awards Gala at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (February 2) in Beverly Hills, California.

Following the Academy Awards nomination luncheon, the ‘Theory of Everything’ actress changed out of her Dior frock into this Prada black silk draped bustier dress featuring contrasting white stitching.

Sitting on the fence, I do like the look for not being a basic LBD, but I’m at odds with the random placements of some of the contrast stitching, like the asymmetrical one on the bodice, for example.

Prada sandals, sleek locks and a ruby lip rounded out her look.
