Felicity Jones in Christian Dior Couture – ‘The Theory of Everything’ London Premiere

Felicity Jones in Christian Dior Couture - 'The Theory of Everything' London Premiere

Felicity Jones took to the ‘blue’ carpet for the London premiere of ‘The Theory of Everything’ hosted at Odeon Leicester Square on Tuesday (December 9) in England.

The actress stunned in a Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture dress that was nothing short of breathtaking.

Again breaking out of her all-black comfort zone, she wore this pristine, white quilted confection with statement embroidery. While the 18th century-inspired pannier-style silhouette wasn’t exactly figure-lengthening, the voluminous form was a risk that paid off in my view.

When styled with lavender metallic Dior pumps, a partless ’do, and a bright-pink lip, the frock fully took on modern, relevant appeal, rather than falling into an overly fussy trap.

The overall effect was one of precious doll-like quality—with a dash of edge. What say you?

Felicity Jones In Dior - TimesTalks Presents An Evening With Eddie Redmayne And Felicty Jones

TimesTalks Presents: An Evening With Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones took place at Times Center on Wednesday (November 19) in New York City.

Felicity took a rare night off from wearing black, thankfully, donning this pretty white Dior frock in a simple long-sleeved design with a flared skirt.

The pristine look was served up with plenty of polish, with slick tresses, smoky eyes and silver-metallic pumps completing her look.

Does this look get a round of applause just for not being another black look?

Felicity Jones In Alexander McQueen - 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

Felicity Jones attended the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Palladium on Friday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

The British actress wore black – again – this time wearing an Alexander McQueen Resort 2015 featuring a beautifully embellished bodice and a flowing sheer skirt which offers a tantalising glimpse of what lies beneath.

While Felicity looks as beautiful and elegant as ever, however, I’m getting to a point where I want to see something a little bit different from her.

Felicity Jones attended the 2014 Variety Screening Series of ‘Theory Of Everything’ held at ArcLight Hollywood on Thursday (November 13) in Hollywood, California.

The actress wore an Alexander McQueen black and white jacquard pleated dress from the Spring 2015 collection styled with her favourite black Mary Janes pumps.

While die-hard McQueen fans will argue “where is the McQueen in this frock? Others will say that it’s yet another simple, classic look perfectly in tune with Felicity’s style.

Get The Look: Felicity Jones’ Classic Hollywood Glam With A Punk Twist Do

JonesCelebrity hairstylist Cervando Maldonado worked with Felicity Jones for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 2014 Governors Awards.

Cervando’s explains he’s beauty inspiration, “The inspiration for the look was Classic Hollywood glam with a punk twist.”

Here’s how to get the look.

He started on damp hair, prepping it first with Kérastase Resistance Volumactive Mousse distributed evenly through the hair. Then he applied Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray to the roots all over the head and rough dried the hair with a Harry Josh Pro Tools Pro Dryer 2000 until it was completely dry.

Then Cervando used an Ibiza Hair EX3 Medium Boar Bristle Brush and blew out and smoothed the hair beginning at the front of the head and around the face, continuing through the rest of the hair. After that he used a 1.5 inch T3 Tourmaline Curling Iron throughout to create loose textured waves. Once done, he sprayed Sachajuan Volume Powder through the hair to create volume and dry texture.

After this he sprayed Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray all over to create even more texture and separation. Once done, he parted the hair into a deep side part with the end of a bone-tail comb to create a severe part in the hair. Then he slicked back the hair on the left side of the head by using Osmo Clay Wax to hold the hair down in place. After he slicked it down he pulled the hair and wrapped it around the nape of the neck, adding black bobby pins to hold it securely into place, creating an asymmetrical look.

Once secure, he added a dime-sized amount of Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil and applied it to the slicked back area, creating sheen and a wet look. Once that was set he put the remaining loose hair in pin curls and let it set for about 10 minutes. He then took it down and brushed it with a Mason Pierson brush creating a gorgeous, loose wave. Lastly, he sprayed the hair with Sachajuan Super Strong Hairspray, creating hold and shine for a modern, finished ook.

Felicity Jones In Prada – Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Felicity Jones In Prada - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Felicity Jones attended the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday (November 8) in Hollywood, California.

Prada has to go down as the most frustrating inconsistent brand when it comes to off-runway gowns.

They have some excruciatingly bad moments (Nicole Kidman and Kristen Wiig) and some breathtakingly brilliant moments (Emily Blunt and Gemma Arterton).

This would be one of the good moments, although they can’t be held accountable for that lopsided hairdo.

Cut in a simple silhouette to which we have become accustomed when it comes to Miss Jones, the embellishments prevent this from being a snooze. Styled with a midnight-blue Edie Parker clutch and bold red lip, the look was given an edge with a silver ear cuff.
