Fan Bingbing In Louis Vuitton - Sidaction Gala Dinner 2013

Despite not being seen front row at any couture shows in Paris this week, Fan BingBing attended the Sidaction Gala Dinner 2013 held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville in Paris yesterday evening, which was also attended by Leelee Sobieski.

The Asian beauty stepped out of the chequered box to be original and selected a solid piece from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 collection.

Her shimmering bright-yellow long-sleeved floor-length dress with pocket detailing on both sides was styled with an LV white minaudière with gold detailing, including a tassel accent.

With her hair styled in a centre parting and swept behind her ears, she completed her look with long diamond-encrusted earrings.

Thank god for Bingbing – the Louis Vuitton Spring 2013 collection was swiftly becoming one-note.

Who Wore Armani Better Anna Dello Russo or Fan Bingbing

Anna Dello Russo was the first to wear this Giorgio Armani black Fall 2012 sequin dress when she took her front row seat at the Saint Laurent Spring 2013 show during Paris Fashion Week back in October.

The editor-at-large for Vogue Nippon styled her look with an armful of bracelets, cap-toe pumps, a gold clutch and drop earrings.

A relatively demure look by her standards.

Fan Bingbing wore the same look last month while attending the Bazaar Men’s Style Awards held in Beijing, China.

She opted to style her look with the same runway hat, platform heels and a red Louis Vuitton bag.

After being on the fence when it came to Bingbing’s look, seeing the look without the hat has swayed me to appreciate that added quirk. It really adds lift to the look so the Asian beauty wins for me.

Fan Bingbing may be a designer’s dream girl; she’s exotic, well-traveled, sophisticated and has just enough quirk factor to keep things interesting.

The Asian beauty is the Best-Dressed International Star of 2012, although she really doesn’t have a defining style. That’s her secret: she’s a chameleon and can and will wear anything that catches her fancy—even the most extravagant, over-accessorized runway exits.

While Fan is a red carpet regular at soirees in Beijing and Shanghai, you’ll also find this actress-singer-producer seated front row at Fashion Week shows as varied as Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo and Versace, as well as being the darling of Cannes Film Festival as the Asian ambassador for L’Oreal.

Throughout the year, she was also spotted in Elie Saab, Giorgio Armani, Stéphane Rolland Couture, Tadashi Shoji and Valentino.

There’s no way not to be a fan of Miss Fan.

Who knew Fan Bingbing was so multi-talented?

The actress performed during the New Year concert hosted by Shenzhen TV in China on Tuesday evening dressed in a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2013 dress.

I adore this nude cold-shoulder lace dress with a delicate tiered skirt. It has been on my awards season wish list since it took to the runway back in September.

So while I’m excited to see it off the runway, I’m also crushed that it may never grace the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre.

Fan Bingbing donned one of her favourite wigs for her appearance on the red carpet for the Bazaar Men’s Style Awards held in Beijing, China on Saturday evening.

Dressed in a Giorgio Armani Fall 2012 black sequin dress with silver detailing, the actress balances a very fine line between looking fabulous and comical.

I’m still on the fence as I’m not sure I can get on board with the copper wig, but I love the wide-brim hat, which is also part of the Armani Fall 2012 collection.

I supposed this look could’ve been worse had she over-styled it with those accessories.

A red Louis Vuitton ‘Alma BB’ shoulder bag and heavy black platform pumps completed the look.

Fabulous or comical?
