Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture – 11th Asian Film Awards

Fan Bingbing picked up the Best Actress award for ‘I Am Not Madame Bovary’ at the 11th Asian Film Awards on Tuesday (March 21) in Hong Kong, China.

I would’ve expected a princess gown for such an occasion, but she decided to go down a different route while still relying on Elie Saab.

Aside from the pleated front which creates a contemporary silhouette for this jumpsuit, I love how the dramatic train adds distinguishable definition to this piece.

Unfortunately Bingbing’s accessories didn’t work for me. A silver clutch to compliment the embroidered bodice and shoes without embellishment would’ve been preferred.

Fan Bingbing In Blumarine – 2016 Weibo Awards Ceremony

Fan Bingbing attended the 2016 Weibo Awards Ceremony on Monday (January 16) in Beijing, China.

The actress must have been craving sweets, as the sugar rush was real in this frothy Blumarine baby-pink tiered gown that was awash in a flurry of silver embellishment.

I know many of you wish for something a bit more from Bingbing, but I will always find her style endearing.

Fan Bingbing In Georges Chakra Couture – Chopard ‘Passion For Excellence’ Private Dinner

Fan Bingbing In Georges Chakra Couture - Chopard 'Passion For Excellence' Private Dinner

Fan Bingbing made a welcome return to the red carpet in fine form while attending the Chopard ‘Passion For Excellence’ private dinner on Tuesday (November 27).

I love how her tea-length Georges Chakra Fall 2015 Couture gown possesses a slight edge with the exposed corset; setting it apart from her typical princess-style gowns.

Styled with her usual Louis Vuitton clutch and a selection of Chopard jewels and watch, I would say she paints quite a pretty picture of perfection here.

Do you agree?

Disclaimer: I did not deliberately chop off her feet in this picture. None of the images from this event showed her shoes. Perhaps we are being spared.

Who Wore Ralph & Russo Couture Better…Blake Lively or Fan Bingbing?

Who Wore Ralph & Russo Couture BetterBlake Lively or Fan Bingbing

Blake Lively wore a breath-taking Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture gown to conclude her epic promo tour for ‘The Age of Adaline’ back in April.

It was impossible not to be captured by the sensual femininity of the piece.

The same feeling was presents when Fan Bingbing gave this dress a second run-out back for the GQ Men of the Year Awards back in September.

However will I chose between my two favourite red carpet actresses?

The shoes. So Blake wins by a very long margin for me.

Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture – 2015 Bazaar Star Charity Night

Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture - 2015 Bazaar Star Charity Night

Fan Bingbing attended the 2015 Bazaar Star Charity Night at China World Summit Wing on Wednesday (September 23) in Beijing, China.

The actress wore an beautiful Elie Saab Fall 2015 Couture gown in a dreamy blush hue.

While I’m sure many will take issue with colour washing her out and the out-of-place Louis Vuitton clutch, my issue is that if you look back over her archive, you’ll find similar dress in the same hue that she’s worn before.

I’m going to put this in the beautiful, but failed to excite file.

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture – GQ Men of the Year Awards

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture - GQ Men of the Year Awards

Fan Bingbing was in full bloom while attending the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Shanghai, China on Monday (September 14).

Looking almost too perfect for words (I refuse to let the shoes ruin this moment for me), the actress took my breath-away wearing a Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture off the shoulder dress enriched with lustrous silk flowers.

Styled with a two-tone LV Petite Malle clutch and Chopard jewels, this look will find pride of place in her red carpet hall of fame.

You may remember that Blake Lively wore this same dress during her epic promo tour of ‘The Age of Adaline’ back in April.
